The joint ventures go way back and are ventures between NNPC and companies like Shell and Chevron. Tinubu does not own them, unless he owns a company that has the technical capacity to run a JV.

The crude oil are joint venture businesses with oil companies and they will not be interested in giving their own when they can sell at international price

It doesn't belong to NNPC. Yet they get paid for what doesn't belong to them.
