if you are using window os

on your keyboard press ctrl+prtsc

or

fn+prtsc

or

alt+prtsc

go back to paint or word document and then press ctrl+v to paste the screen shoot

this system is for active screen only.

But if you want to take the entire screen shoot

just press ctrl+A

to copy every thing

then on your keyboard press ctrl+prtsc

then go to paint or worddocument

and past it by pressing ctrl+v
