Yes just do a paid mail and let them know the CAC website under maintenance isn’t your fault and that shouldn’t have affected your application. Sorry about that. Let the paid mail be well detailed and try to work on those reasons. Decision will be overturn hopefully

How do we go about this, inviting my mum for my graduation this January? Bio was Dec 10th

We submitted

1. CAC document for registration of, "business name" registered since 2011. The company name has always been active on CAC (I don't even know how the ECO concluded on that), and I even submitted a certificate of annual returns dated on October 2024 for year of October 2023. And also a bank reference later showing business account has existed for 5 years, and my personal statement

Suddenly the reason for the refusal is that company is not found on CAC, and I have no rights to appeal. it even stated that they considered interviews from applicant and sponsor, but non of that happened

Please any idea what we need to do next?


(modified): I have also confirmed that CAC's website is on maintenance mode and searches are now failing

Get an agent decision might be overturn or do a paid mail or reapply and figure out those grounds on which she was being denied mostly on her ties with her home country Nigeria and your CAC registration/dues( Renew it)

It was naira I sent from my first bank to the Wema account they provided. They should pls oooo ha!!

If flywire didn’t received the payment, you will definitely get your money back on Monday evening or Tuesday morning. Best advice is you should go to your bank and lodge complaint.

Every new application decisions is based on its own merits. Meet the requirements and you’d be granted visa

It's a spousal settlement visa. We didn't use courier. VFS does not have any contact on their site. If you have the email or phone number I can reach I would appreciate it.
When I tried to track, The images below is what it showed. Not clear what stage it is in.

Vfs contact 08070199993 I’ll also suggest you visit Vfs office if possible and report this to Ukvi.

A quick one. Applied for UK visa, sent a follow up mail to ask the status and was informed a decision has been made. This was two weeks ago. Since then, nothing. No mail from the decision letter box or from VFS.

Has anyone had similar experience? What can I do to get a status update?

what’s the visa category? Study or a visit visa? Secondly, did you paid for Courier service? If yes or No try to contact Vfs either in Lagos or in Abuja Or track your passport through Vfs website https://atlantis-abs-uk.vfsglobal.com/sign-in Use the link to track your visa application and your passport if it has been dispatched

2. My bank statements also happen to be 6mb each in size, the guideline says each doc shouldn’t exceed 5mb….is there a way to reduce quality of a pdf doc or can I simply upload like that pls?

proof of application is the application form you filled download as (PDF) , and yes just upload the bank statement like that. Wish you best of Luck.

Submitted my biometric on the 6th of December for a study visa Uk at Victoria island. Received a Not Straightforward mail on the 9th. When am i likely to get a response to come pick up my passport. Has anyone gotten a response for a ukvi study visa of recent? How do i know my visa has been approved would that be communicated via email or till i receive my passport and cross check. 25th & 26th are public holidays doubt Ukvi would be working those two days.
