Oh, What Holy and Noble Question

Genesis 18:20-23
The scripture above helps us appreciate how God
values man, his soul and our salvation.
The angel
sent by God to confirm what heaven has heard
about Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham entertained
them very well and they felt they should not hide
their mission from God.
The Lord knew Abraham
was going to bring up his children and command
his house in the fear of the Lord, Abraham has not
even conceived Isaac at this time but God knew
what he would do ahead of time.
They revealed
their mission or purpose to Abraham, the sin of
Sodom and Gomorrah had reached to the high
heavens and something needed to be done.
Abraham on hearing what was to happen had to
intercede on behalf of Lot and his family who
resided in that city.
Abraham asked this question;
‘’Lord, will you destroy the righteous with the
wicked?’’ Abraham knew that Lot was also walking
according to the commandment of God, being that
he grew up with Abraham.
That was why he could
speak on behalf of Lot. God had answers to the
questions of Abraham, because He knows how to
do everything. Some are asking; can I make
heaven? Can I be saved? Can I be holy? Can God
forgive me? And so on and so forth,
God has
answers to all those questions and the answers are
YES!

Abraham was a great intercessor, he knew and had

the mind of God, and he was looking forward to
entering the heavenly city build by God. One could
be on earth and seated at the right hand of God in
heaven, by the live of holiness and righteousness
they live.
It is not the will of God that a fornicator,
liar, adulterer/adulteress, thieve, hypocrite,
drunkard, lukewarm, backslider, fraudster,
masturbator, gay/lesbian, etc, to die in their sins
or perish but He wants them to repent.
Why will
you...why should you die in your sins? God has no
pleasure in the death of sinners or wicked. Repent
from your sins today so that you will have eternal
life.

God made it very clear to Abraham as an answer
to his question that He cannot destroy the
righteous with the wicked. We need such faith like
that of Abraham to love God and people.
Abraham
was genuinely interested in the life of Lot, this
would be the second time he would rescue him
from danger.
We need to have this kind of mindset
and heart! Despite the corruption in the city, the
daughters of Lot were still virgins; sisters go enter
school, go to a new place and become fornicators
even losing their virginity-the judgement of such
people will be very great.
You have no excuse
whether as a brother or sister to live in sin today,
your judgement will be very hot unless you repent.
Whatever height you have attained,
that should not
make you live the way you like or disobey God
because you are not yet in heaven.
The wages of
sin is death in the lake of fire forever and the
reward for being born again and living for Jesus is
eternal life in heaven-make a choice today.

Be Sure Your Sin Will Find You Out! by David J. Stewart "But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out" (Num. 32:23). Most people have a
misunderstanding as to what
this Scripture really means.
Most people think it means,
“Your sin will someday be
found out” or “You won't get away with sin.” Of course,
these statements are true; but,
that is NOT what this particular
Bible passage is referring
to. We read in Luke 12:2, “For there is nothing covered, that
shall not be revealed; neither
hid, that shall not be known.” Nothing is hid from the
presence of God. Proverb 15:3
proclaims, “The eyes of the LORD are in every place,
beholding the evil and the
good.” Las Vegas is guilty of false advertising! They
guarantee you that the sins
you commit in Vegas will STAY
IN VEGAS. Well, I have news
for you, God is video-taping
everything you do in Vegas! What HAPPENS in
Vegas IS RECORDED in
Heaven!!! God is NOT a pacifist,
teddy-bear God, that looks the
other way when we sin. No
sir, God has promised to hold each and every one of us
accountable for our selves
(Romans 14:12; Ecclesiastes
14:12; Colossians 3:25). Whether saved or unsaved, we
will all have our day in God's
court. The difference is it will
be as a criminal court for the
unsaved, verses civil court for
the saved. In criminal court you go to prison (the Lake of
Fire); but in civil court you
suffer monetary (reward)
losses, reproach and God's
anger. The unsaved will stand
trial at The Great White Throne of Judgment (Revelation
20:11-15), and the saved will
stand trial at The Judgment
Seat of Christ (2nd Corinthians
5:9-11). So what does Numbers 32:23
mean? The Israelites were
about to enter into the
Promised Land. However, the
tribes of Reuben and Gad didn't
want to live in Canaan, and they informed Moses of this
(Numbers 32:2). They had large
herds of cattle, and saw that
there was plenty of land on the
east side of the Jordan River
(Canaan, the Promised Land, was on the West side of the
Jordan River). Moses was
upset, and said that the rest of
the tribes would be
discouraged by their
unwillingness to enter into the Promised Land. Moses also pointed out that
they needed all the manpower
in battle they could get, and
couldn't afford not to have the
tribes of Reuben and Gad fight
in Canaan. So they asked Moses if they could remain on the
East side of Jordan if they
promised to help fight with the
rest of the tribes for the
Promised Land. Moses
reluctantly agreed; but told them that if they didn't keep
their promise... Their sin would
find them out! Notice carefully that Moses
said in Numbers 32:23, “YOUR sin will find YOU out.” It is the sin we commit that will one
day haunt us. This is what the
verse means. Sin always leads
to misery and regret. No
mother who aborts her own
precious baby can honestly say when she is old that she is glad
she murdered her child. Sin
always brings regret,
bitterness, guilt, and
resentment down the
road. Mother's Day is a time of guilt for many would-have-
been parents. Instead they are
mothers of dead babies. I have
spoken with countless people
throughout my life, who have
shared with me their regrets over sins committed when
they were younger. One man confided to me that
he was a drug-addict when he
was younger, before he found
the Lord. He said he
remembered meeting a poor
woman, who had little children, and needed
money. He had never met the
woman before. He
propositioned her for
prostitution. He told me that he
was having sex with her shortly thereafter, on the
couch, right in front of the
woman's small children. He
said that he had been so cold-
hearted that he could have
cared less. He told me how he used to get high on cocaine,
and how each drug "high" was
less spectacular than the
previous. He began to weep as
he told me how he regretted
his life of sin, the people he had hurt, and the wasted years
of his life he couldn't relive. I could share many such stories
with you, and I'm sure you
could likewise with me. The
world is a sinful place.
Certainly, all men and women
are sinners. In fact, the most heinous and worst crimes
being committed today are by
children and young teens. Oh
the consequences of sin! What
price are you willing to pay for
sin my friend? Sin will always take us further than we
planned to go, cost us more
than we intended to pay, and
keep us longer than we
wanted to stay! The Devil is a
liar, thief and murderer—and he's the father of all liars,
thieves and murderers the
Bible says (John 8:44; 10:10).
There are many liars, thieves
and murderers in the world
today whose father is Satan. I Am The Biggest Sinner I
Know (And So Are You If
You're Right With God) If you truly grow in the grace
of God as a Christian and abide
in the Scriptures, you will come
to the place eventually where
you'll think that you're the
biggest sinner in town. The reason why is because as you
draw nearer to our holy God,
you will begin to see yourself
more and more as a dirty
sinner. Hebrews 12:29, “For our God is a consuming fire.” God's holiness exposes the
awfulness of our sins. It is
quite normal to feel
nervousness for no apparent
reason as you draw near to
God's presence, for He is a holy God. Here are some of the mightiest
holy men of old in the Bible
expressing the awfulness of
their sinfulness... Isaiah said, “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone;
because I am a man of
unclean lips, and I dwell in the
midst of a people of unclean
lips: for mine eyes have seen
the King, the LORD of hosts” (Isaiah 6:5). The Apostle Peter, “When Simon Peter saw it, he fell
down at Jesus' knees, saying,
Depart from me; for I am a
sinful man, O Lord” (Luke 5: The Apostle Paul, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of
all acceptation, that Christ
Jesus came into the world to
save sinners; of whom I am
chief” (1st Timothy 1:15). James 2:10 teaches that to
break even one of God's
Commandments is equivalent
to breaking ALL of them in
God's sight. In other words,
even one sin is enough to send a person to Hell for all eternity.
That's why we need a Savior.
His precious name is Jesus—
Who died, was buried and rose
again—to pay for our many
sins. This is the Gospel (i.e., the death, burial and resurrection
of Christ, 1st Corinthians
15:1-4). If you receive what
Christ did as payment for your
sins, then you'll be saved and
spend eternity with the Lord in happiness and plenty. Forgiveness For All Is Available
Through The Blood Of Jesus
Christ, The Lamb Of God Here are some of my favorite
Scriptures in the whole Bible,
which I love and cherish... Romans 8:32-24, “He that
spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him
also freely give us all things
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God
that justifieth. Who is he that
condemneth? It is Christ that
died, yea rather, that is risen
again, who is even at the
right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” He told me that he often
wonders if he has any
unknown children, because he
had been a whoremonger for
so long. He said that he often
wonders if he has HIV, and is afraid to be tested. He said he
felt guilt because he had taken
advantage of the poor, when
God had given him a good
job. His life was so
tragic! Years later, he became a Christian and knew that the
blood of Jesus had cleansed all
his sins away; but he still felt
guilt over the people he had
hurt. His sins found him out. Ephesians 2:13, “But now in
Christ Jesus ye who
sometimes were far off are
made nigh by the blood of
Christ.” Amen! We are reconciled and
brought near to God BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST!!! What Price Are You Willing To
Pay For Sin? Thankfully Jesus paid a debt
that He did not owe, because
we owed a debt of sin that we
could not pay. But my friend, if
you do not receive Christ's
payment of the Gospel for your sins, then you must go to Hell
for all eternity to pay for your
own sins. The price is
everlasting fire and
damnation, separated from
God and all the joys and splendors of Heaven. Oh the consequences of
sin! There are children all
across the world who don't
even know who their real
fathers are, because the
mother doesn't even know. Most people have never
experienced young children,
having the same mother,
fighting with each other over
who's daddy is the best. It is
tragic! Satan always shows young people the neon lights,
the glamour, the fame, the
money, the fun, the good
times... but the Devil wouldn't
dare show you the TRUTH! The
Devil won't take you into local emergency rooms all across the
world, where people are dying
because of sin. Satan shows
people the gambling casinos,
the beautiful woman, the
booze, the money, and the thrills. What Satan doesn't show you
is the little room in back of
each gambling casino where
your house, assets, and life are
squandered away. The Devil is
behind the neon lights of Las Vegas and New Orleans. The
Devil shows us the beer-
drinking man with a beautiful
woman at his side. What the
Devil won't show you is the
battered wife, who's drunkard husband beats her. Oh the lie
of sin. Be sure your sin will find
you out!!! Sin will ALWAYS cost
you more than you bargained,
take you farther than you
intended, and ruin your life faster than you could have
ever imagined. The Word of God says that
YOUR sin will find YOU
out. There will come that time
when the chickens come home
to roost. What does that
mean... “When the chickens come home to roost?”
Remember Peter? Peter vowed
that he would never deny
Christ. Jesus told Peter that
before the cock (adult male
chicken) crowed 3-times that Peter would in fact deny Him
(Matthew 26:34). Peter said,
No way! Peter did deny Jesus,
and even cursed Christ's holy
name. Peter hadn't given it a
second thought until he heard those chicken's crowing the
next morning. King David in
the Old Testament killed a
man, to hide an adulterous
affair with the man's wife,
that led to an unwanted pregnancy. David didn't think twice about
the great evil he had done,
until Nathan the prophet
confronted him several months
later. The chickens came home
to roost, and David's sins found him out. Oh the misery, defeat,
and guilt David
experienced. The “Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man
soweth, that shall he also
reap” (Galatians 6:7). There is a popular saying, “What goes
around, comes around.” I don’t
care who you are, or where
you are, how you are, or when
you are, your sins will find you
out. The sins you commit will come back to haunt you one
day. In the way that you sin,
that is the way it is going to
come home to you
sometime. That is the meaning
of this statement, “Be sure your sin will find you out.” Job 15:16, “How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?”

I Am The Biggest Sinner I Know (And So Are You If You're Right With God)

Bible Corrupters Remove the Word "Worshipped"

Many of the modern perversions of God's Word remove the word "worshipped" and replace it with the word "knelt." This is evil and blasphemous against the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a world of difference between the words "knelt" and " worshipped." A person can kneel before a king without worshipping him, but to worship someone signifies deity. People foolishly bow in worship to the Pope or various statues of saints or Mother Mary. This is idolatry because God has forbidden us from worshipping (or even bowing) to such objects (Exodus 20:3-5). Keep in mind the even "bowing" is a sin. Catholics who deny that they are praying to (or worshipping) Mary are still in grievous violation of Exodus 20:5 for bowing to Mary. To no surprise, Catholic leaders in their official Catechism have completely removed the second of the Ten Commandments and have split the ninth commandment into two separate commands to make up for it. This is blatant evil. The Vatican has perverted the Truth of God's Word and is now trying to hide their evil. It is a sin to worship statues of saints. It is a sin to bow in praise of the Pope or any priests. Just as Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar's golden image (Daniel 3:18), so should we refuse to bow to the idols and arrogant imposters of Roman Catholicism.

Likewise, we should refuse to allow the Bible corrupters to remove the rightful worship that Jesus Christ is worthy to receive ("Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." -Revelation 4:11). Jesus Christ is Almighty God ("I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." -Revelation 1: and is WORTHY of our worship. We should worship Jesus as God Almighty because that is Who He Is. In multiple places in the New Testament, people came to WORSHIP the Lord Jesus Christ...and Jesus worthily accepted it.

"And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean." -Matthew 8:2

"While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live." -Matthew 9:18

"Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God." -Matthew 14:33

"Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me." -Matthew 15:25

"Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him." -Matthew 20:20

"And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him." -Matthew 28:9

"And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted." -Matthew 28:17

"And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit...But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him" -Mark 5:2, 6

Every King James Scripture I just quoted you has been perverted by the NIV corrupters. Here's what the horribly corrupted New International Version (NIV or better yet, HIV) has to say...

"A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." -Matthew 8:2 (NIV)

"While he was saying this, a ruler came and knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live." -Matthew 9:18 (NIV)

All Modern Bible Versions are Corrupt!

Why would anyone remove the word "worshipped" concerning our Creator, Lord, and Saviour? The answer can only be rooted in Satan. To no surprise the NIV also removes the name "Jesus" (the name above every other name, Philippians 2:9) from 38 places in the New Testament. I am amazed that so many professed Christians are still blind to the work of the Devil in all of the modern versions. There have been over 200 new versions in the past few decades alone. Only a complete fool would add or subtract from God's Word for any reason.

Just As In Jesus' Day, the Religious Crowd Refuses to Worship Jesus

The Word of God plainly teaches that Jesus was worshipped by people from all walks of life, all except the religious leaders. Isn't it interesting that lepers and demon possessed people ran to Jesus' feet in worship, while the arrogant self-righteous religious leaders sought to kill Him. Nothing has changed. It's the religious Bible corrupting crowd that is doing more damage to the name of Christ than any other group today. I'd expect to see godless magazines endorsing Harry Potter's witchcraft, but I wanted to vomit when I found out that Christianity Today endorses Harry Potter's witchcraft. God's biggest enemies today are RELIGIOUS people; most of whom do not know God ("Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away" -2nd Timothy 3:5). Just as the Pharisees of Jesus' day are burning in the fires of Hell today, so will the godless religious leaders of today be burning in the fires of Hell tomorrow.

When Jesus was born, Babylonian wise men came from the East to worship the Saviour. You would have thought that the religious leaders would have gone to see Jesus, but instead they informed Herod of the whereabouts of the little Baby Jesus so Jesus could be murdered. The religious leaders knew where Christ was to be born, but they could have cared less and didn't go. Isn't this just like the religious world today? They claim the name of Christ, but their hearts are so far away from God. This world is filled with all sorts of religious people who practice their ceremonial rituals and sacraments, but they have never come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" -2nd Timothy 3:7. They have religion without Truth, Churchianity without Christianity. Jesus said in John 4:24 that God can only be worshipped in TRUTH, not heresy. This is why Jesus said in Mark 7:7, "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Oh don't be a fool my friend, turn to Jesus Christ now in belief, asking Him to forgive all your sins and to save you from Hell. Once you're saved, study and learn the 1611 King James Bible, and worship Jesus!!!

very few people truly
understand THE TRUTH
about people. Are we the
descendants of aliens
from another galaxy! No,
but you certainly have to
wonder what goes
through some people's
minds in light of the silly,
evil and reckless things
humans sometimes do.

Much of the confusion in
society is due to an
unwillingness to accept
THE TRUTH about people;
namely, that we are dirty,
rotten, guilty, sinners,
prone to evil and
destruction. I realize this
may come as an offense
to many people, but it is
the honest-to-God truth! I
don't want to be labeled
as a religious person for
using the Bible here,
because I don't like
religion—at all! Read my
section on " Religion" to
find out why. I do
however have a strong
faith in God and His
Word. I did not construct
this website to impress
anyone, but to proclaim
the truth. Truth will
offend many people, it
always has. As the old
saying goes, “If the shoe
fits, wear it!”
My purpose of this article
is not to condemn people,
but rather to show that
people are inherently
evil. This is the root cause
of man's problems.
Modern psychiatry refuses
to address the issue of sin.
They are as the blind
leading the blind, because
they attempt to analyze
and heal the human
psyche without the
inspired Word of God.
The truth is that we are all
sinners, all possessing a
sin-nature from birth
(Romans
3:10-23). Mankind is not
going to get better, only
worse. There will always
be war, nuclear weapons
and crime. Why? It's
because of the
International Banksters
who control everything,
start wars and finance
BOTH sides of the war .
"Now the works of the
flesh are manifest,
which are these;
Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness,
lasciviousness, Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred,
variance, emulations,
wrath, strife, seditions,
heresies, Envyings,
murders, drunkenness,
revellings, and such like:
of the which I tell you
before, as I have also
told you in time past,
that they which do such
things shall not inherit
the kingdom of God."--

common to humanity.

Did you read that? All we
"LIKE SHEEP" have gone
astray. People are just
like sheep. Sheep are very
vulnerable animals, easy
prey for a cunning wolf.
Every day on the news,
we hear or read about
people who have fallen
victim one way or another
because of this very fact.
One simply has to look at
the financial mess (debt)
our government is in to
realize that the American
public has been deceived,
lied to and defrauded by
those whom we have
voted into power. Yet,
why do we continue to
vote for only two political
parties? Because people
are like sheep and are
EASILY swayed by the evil
rich and powerful crooks
who control government
and media. I refuse to
vote democrat or
republican anymore
because of too much
corruption going on in
both parties. But that's
just one example, there
are thousands more.
People are like sheep,
unaware of what is going
on in this world.
The average psychologist/
psychiatrist has little or no
regard for the Bible;
therefore, the basis of
their counseling is flawed.
They base their reasoning
on humanism, evolution
and secular opinion. The
Word of God gives us the
TRUTH concerning
humanity; therefore, the
Bible is absolutely
essential in helping people
learn to help themselves
by facing THE TRUTH of
reality. The first step to
mental healing is to face
the truth, to see who you
really are in the mirror of
God's Word. Only then
can you begin to change
(because now you see
what needs to change).
You must come to realize
that we are living in a
"fallen world." This
simply means that
because of the sin which
Adam allowed into the
world (Romans 5:12), we
have a sin-nature passed
on to us by birth.
Though it may seem
unfair, it is THE TRUTH.
Understanding this truth
will revolutionize your
way of thinking. I'm not
saying that we should
hate people, but we must
realize that even the best
of people are still sinners!
We must guard against
placing ourselves in bad
situations (because people
are people). If the
bankers and politicians of
1913 had believed this,
they never would have
created the ungodly
federal reserve system
which has done so much
to destroy this nation
(which, by the way,
caused the Great
Depression of the
1930's).
Realizing that people are
sinful by nature would
cause us to place Bible-
reading and prayer back
into the public-school
system. Is it any wonder
why so many children are
growing up to be heathen
citizens? I mean...is a little
decent Bible and prayer
time going to hurt the
kids in school? No, it
would be great for them!
The kids are being brain-
washed with evolution,
why is the story of
creation banned? Is not
evolution the religious
belief of atheists? By the
way, atheism IS a religion
(it is a belief is it not?). So
who's fooling who?
Everyone has beliefs, and
those beliefs affect their
frame-of-mind to make
decisions.
So when you think of it,
there is no such thing as
separation of religion and
state. People think the
terms "church" and
"religion" are
synonymous, they aren't.
There are MANY religions
today that have no
church, no building, no
organized meeting place
(the New Age religion is a
good example). Ironically,
atheists meet in their
various non-profit
organizations but are not
considered a church
because they claim not to
be religious. Here's THE
TRUTH friend, atheists are
VERY RELIGIOUS (that is--
they have very strong
beliefs). This great
misnomer has given the
atheists and other
heathen organizations an
unfair advantage over
churches.
When I am mistreated by
people, I often think of
the following Scriptures:

Do you know someone
"whose God is their
belly?" That is to say,
they are living for the
pleasures of this life with
little or no regard for God
nor neighbor. You

such people, I certainly
do. We are living in
perilous days as the Bible
spoke of, where people
have become "lovers of
their own selves." People
by nature are selfish, self-
centered, self-conscious
and self-righteous! The
sooner you realize and
accept this, the sooner
you'll develop a TRUTHFUL
perspective of the world
today. Let me give you
the Bible's perspective on
the word:
"And we know that we
are of God, and the
whole world lieth in
wickedness."--1st John

The "whole world lieth in
wickedness" because of
the wickedness of
mankind. There will
always be war and
suffering because of man's
heart-disease (his
unwillingness to repent
and turn to God for
salvation and
regeneration). The day of
judgment is coming!
"Even as Sodom and
Gomorrha, and the cities
about them in like
manner, giving
themselves over to
fornication, and going
after strange flesh, are
set forth for an
example, suffering the
vengeance of eternal
fire. Likewise also
these filthy dreamers
defile the flesh, despise
dominion, and speak
evil of dignities."--Jude

"But these speak evil of
those things which they
know not: but what
they know naturally, as
brute beasts, in those
things they corrupt
themselves. Woe unto

people! (murmurers and
complainers, prone to
disobedience and lust).
"Wherein in time past

times past in the lusts
of our flesh, fulfilling
the desires of the flesh

"Who changed the truth
of God into a lie, and
worshipped and served
the creature more than

I sincerely hope this article
has opened your eyes (if

people by the way, ALL of
them! The greatest verse
in all the Bible to me is
John 3:16...
"For God so loved the
world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in
him should not perish,
but have everlasting
life."
God loves you friend,
more than you could
possibly ever imagine. In
this crazy and confusing
world, it is often difficult
to feel God's love, but the
Bible proclaims God's love
for humanity. Don't make
the mistake of trying to
recreating God in your
own image, you
can't...you were created in
God's image. God does
things His way and in His
time, that is plain THE
TRUTH! Let me leave you
with one final Scripture:
"Come now, and let us

the LORD: though your
sins be as scarlet, they
shall be as white as
snow; though they be
red like crimson, they
shall be as wool."

Christ as your personal
Saviour, I sincerely plead
with you as a caring

share with you the plan
of salvation as laid out
in the Word of God.

o pastor or Christian leader should ever speak highly of the Catholic Pope. I recently heard a Baptist pastor speak of Pope John Paul II as a “godly man.” No, the Pope is the vicar of Hell. The Pope is the representative of Satan! The Catholic Church is straight out of the pits of Hell.

God deliver us from pansy, compromised, money-hungry preachers who have turned aside after the error of Balaam. Just as Balaam misled God's people, so do pastors today harm their congregation when they fail to expose false prophets like the Pope. It is tragic that many pastors nowadays are catering to Catholics by censoring the truth, beating-around-the-bush, dipping-their-sails, and avoiding offending Catholics. Offend them for Jesus' sake! The Bible is the most offensive Book in existence, because it is the truth. If God was worried about offending people, then He would have written the Bible much differently, but He didn't. God said what He meant, and meant what He said.

That is one big reason that I expose Contemporary Christian Music [CCM], because the music and singers attract Catholics because they're all so vague and lacking any doctrinal position. What a bunch of sell-outs! I'd rather stand for something, then fall for anything! Man, what do you believe! Not one, and I mean not one, CCM artist preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ on their website. Third Day's song, Born Again is corrupt, wrongly defining being born-again as a mere “feeling”!

I once heard the statement... “The Pope is a dope and he has no hope.” I'd have to agree. The Pope perverts the Gospel, leading the masses into hellfire, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. I do not say this to be unkind, but to speak the truth and warn people. There are an estimated 1,000,000,000 Catholics in this world, and every one of them will burn in Hell when they die if they follow the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Let me share with you the official dogma (doctrine) of the Catholic Church, which was completed on December 8, 1965 by Pope Paul VI in a declaration titled VATICAN II.
The following quote is taken from Vatican II...

"This holy Council first of all turns its attention to the Catholic faithful. Basing itself on scripture and tradition, it teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mk. 16:16; John 3:5), and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it, or to remain in it."

So according to Pope Paul VI, Jesus is the only way to Heaven, but the body of Jesus is the Catholic Church, and being water baptized is the door into which a person MUST enter the church. Vatican II states that a person CANNOT go to Heaven who doesn't get water baptized into the Catholic Church, and anyone who leaves the Catholic Church will not go to Heaven either. This is NOT what the Word of God teaches.

We are plainly told in Romans 10:3,4, "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." We are taught in Ephesians 2:8,9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Salvation is of the Lord, not men. Eternal life is a free gift. Salvation is receiving, not giving.

1 Peter 1:14-16

God is holy. He demands
holiness from those that
desire fellowship with
Him. God wants His
children to be inwardly as
well as outwardly holy.
This means not only is our
inward attitude, but also
our outward appearance
is important to God.
Exodus 20:26

unclothedness be not
discovered."
God does not want our
sensitive body parts to be
exposed to the view of
public eye. Exposing
sensitive body parts to the
public causes defilement
among men and
dishonours God. The Bible
reveals that some
adornment, designs and
dressing styles do not
belong to God's children
but to the ungodly and
sinners.
Proverbs 7:10-12
10 "And, behold, there
met him a woman with
the attire of an harlot,
and subtil of heart.
11 (She is loud and
stubborn; her feet abide
not in her house:
12 Now is she without,
now in the streets, and
lieth in wait at every
corner.)"
2 Kings 9:30
"And when Jehu was

Believers are bought with
the precious blood of our
Lord Jesus Christ. Our
bodies are the temple of
the Holy Spirit. To expose
the sensitive parts of our
body to the public
through rough and
improper dressing is to
defile the body, the
temple of the Holy Spirit.
To put on the attire that
makes us look like harlots
or rascals is to grieve the
Holy Spirit and incur His
wrath.
1 Corinthians 3:16, 17

God destroy; for the

When God instructed
Jacob to go up to Bethel,
the place he first met with
God, he told his household
to cleanse themselves
from evil and to change
their dressing.
Genesis 35:1-4

Bethel, and dwell there:
and make there an altar
unto God, that appeared
unto thee when thou
fleddest from the face
of Esau thy brother.

Encounter with the holy
God must produce not
only inward visible
change, but also outward
visible change. Encounter
with the holy God by
anyone, male or female,
should lead to removal
and destruction of
ungodly clothes and
change of dressing style
to conform to His nature
of holiness. Right from the
Old Testament time God
warned His people against
make-ups and ungodly
attire.
Deuteronomy 22:5
"The woman shall not
wear that which
pertaineth to a man,
neither shall a man put
on a woman's garment:
for all that do so are an
abomination unto the
LORD thy God."
In our day there are
women that wear
trousers and put on shirts,
looking like men in
appearance. Some argue
that the trousers are
feminine in design. There
is no excuse in that. True
children of God know that
such are attires of harlots.
No child of God who
knows the holiness of God
and claims to be walking
on the narrow way to
heaven will put on such
attires. All that do so are
abomination to God and
will never enter into
heaven. It is unfortunate
that some preachers
permit or encourage their
members to put on these
ungodly clothing. Some
are silent about the
ungodly outward
appearance of their church
members. They shall go
with their members to
hell. There is no respect of
persons with God.
Isaiah 56:10, 11
10 "His watchmen are
blind: they are all
ignorant, they are all
dumb dogs, they cannot
bark; sleeping, lying
down, loving to
slumber.
11 Yea, they are greedy
dogs which can never
have enough, and they
are shepherds that
cannot understand:
they all look to their

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images." —Isaiah 42:8

There is not a more damnable doctrine in Roman Catholicism than the teachings of Our Lady of Fatima. Roman Catholic officials claim that a supernatural event occurred in 1917 in which the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared repeatedly to 3 little children in Fatima, Portugal. Supposedly, the Virgin Mary gave a message to the 3 children—Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco—consisting of an alleged number of precise predictions, requests, warnings and promises concerning the Catholic faith. An "apparition" means "the unexpected or unusual appearance of a ghostly figure."

The 5th of the 15 promises made by Our Lady of Fatima concerning the Rosary is so blasphemous that it is unmistakable, clear, proof, that Catholics do indeed worship Mary (which is sinful idolatry). Here's the 5th promise...

The soul which recommends itself to Me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish. —SOURCE

Blasphemy!!! You cannot show me even one Scripture from the Word of God where we are told to trust in Mary, by reciting the Rosary to be saved. In fact, the word "Rosary" is NOT a Bible term. The Rosary is straight out of the pits of Hell. Jesus condemned vain repetition in Matthew 6:7. According to Our Lady of Fatima (whose teachings are officially sanctioned by the Vatican), a person can obtain eternal life through Mary by reciting the Rosary. In sharp contrast, Jesus Christ proclaimed in John 14:6... "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." How could Catholics be so arrogant, so blind, and so apostate as to believe that salvation is found in Mary? I tell you, Catholicism is of the Devil.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has absolutely nothing to do with Mary. None of the Apostles ever mentioned Mary in their Epistles. Jesus never directed us to recognize Mary. In fact, the Bible clearly states in Matthew 11:11 that there has never been a child born amongst women greater than John the Baptist. And no wonder, because John the Baptist prepared the people for the coming of the Savior—Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world (John 1:29). Yet, Catholics sinfully worship Mary, bowing to her statue as if she's a god. Unbelievably, during one rosary recital (a chaplet), a Catholic will recite 53 hail Marys! Each "Hail Mary" recital is 42 words long. 42 x 53 = 2,226 words just praising Mary! The devout Catholic who prays the rosary every day will praise Mary with 812,490 words in a year's time. That is idolatry! Again, Our Lady of Fatima said...

That's a BIG LIE!!! The Vatican has a lot of explaining to do, because something smells very rotten. One of the most unholy groups in this world is the Holy See, i.e., Catholic leadership. They wrote the book on self-righteousness. No devout Catholic dare deny the promises of Our Lady of Fatima, i.e., their Blessed Virgin Mary. The Catholic Mary (which is nowhere even close to the Biblical Mary) claims to have the power to save those who recite the Rosary. No wonder Catholicism's Mary is often referred to as The Great LovePeddler. Catholics have mutated Jesus' earthly mother into a two-headed, fire-breathing, demonic, monster.

The Biblical Mary was a horrible sinner (James 2:10), who needed a Savior (Luke 1:47), and told others to do what Jesus commanded (John 2:5). The Biblical Mary was not a Perpetual Virgin (Matthew 13:55-56), was not Immaculately Conceived (Romans 3:23), wasn't Bodily Assumed into Heaven (Hebrews 9:27), and she doesn't intercede on our behalf (1st Timothy 2:5... "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". The Blessed Virgin Mary of the Catholic religion is straight from Hell.

Oh! Listen my friend, the Catholic Church is a prisonhouse of religion! Catholics have churchianity without Christianity, and religion without truth. From the cradle to the casket, the Catholic Church offers people a package deal; but it's a guaranteed road straight into the depths of Hellfire and damnation. In Luke 17:21, Jesus stated that the Kingdom of God is within you; not within a religious organization. Many people want an organized religion that allows them to touch, taste, see, and feel what they're trusting in for eternal life. However, true salvation, which is obtained only by faith in Christ Jesus, is of the heart (Romans 10:10).

The Men Who Rejected Jesus Christ

I want to share with you something said by one of the wealthiest entertainers in the world...

"One time, I got on my tour bus after a gig and we drove for seven or eight hours. We stopped at a truck stop in the early hours of the morning for a cup of coffee. We were out in the middle of nowhere. And this guy walks up to me and gives me one of these leaflets: "Jesus saves." And I say to the guy, "Where did you come from? There's nothing for miles and miles around here." He says, "I've been following you all night." I says, "You been following the bus all night just to give me this fu%#**! piece of paper? You don't want to go a church, my friend. You want to go see a fu%#**! psychiatrist."

It doesn't surprise me so much that a secular entertainer would reject a Gospel tract, but what really impressed upon my heart was the fact that a soulwinner had followed behind a tour bus all night simply to witness to Mr. Osborne. What Ozzy Osborne considers insane was nothing less than the love of God working in the heart of one of God's children. Ozzy's heart is so cold towards God that he actually told someone who cared about him to go see a psychiatrist. I guess that shouldn't be too surprising considering that Mr. Osborne is famous for biting the head off in live bat. Who needs to go see a psychiatrist?

You know, if someone followed behind me all night to share their beliefs with we, I would be moved by that. Even if I totally disagreed with the person, I'd at least thank the person for caring about me. Out of the words of Ozzy Osborne's own mouth, he condemns himself. Ozzy admits openly that he rejected the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. Ozzy didn't just tell the man to go away, he cursed that little piece of paper that read "Jesus Saves". Mr. Osborne said, "You been following the bus all night just to give me this fu%#**! piece of paper?" We'll Mr. Osborne, that fu%#**! piece of paper was the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, Ozzy Osborne remembers exactly what the title of that little piece of paper was...JESUS SAVES!

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" -2nd Thessalonians 1:8

Ozzy Osborne KNOWS the truth, but he has willingly rejected it. According to the above Scripture, hell awaits Mr. Osborne and all others who obey NOT the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Though Mr. Osborne denies being a Satanist, his music is certainly Satanic. Oddly enough, Ozzy is famed for using Satanic imagery throughout his music and performances, yet claims he doesn't believe in hell...

Ozzy admits that about 25 parents have sued him for the suicide deaths of their children, alleging his music as the cause (Source -interview, Ozzy Meets Marilyn Manson, 1997). Mr. Osborne defends his music and so does the Supreme Court on the basis of Free Speech. In response to the accusations against Mr. Osborne, fellow entertainer Marilyn Manson (real name Brian Warner) said...

"I've always said that if someone is stupid enough to want to kill themselves over music, then that's what they deserve. That's one less stupid person in the world."

Warner eerily sounds like Ebenezer Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol," when he proclaimed..."Then let the poor perish and decrease the surface population." Ozzy Osborne and Marilyn Manson are icons to young and middle-aged rockers around the world, revered literally to the point of worship in many cases. Brian Warner (Manson) claims that he attended a Christian school while growing up (which prohibited him from listening to such bands as Queen, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath). Warner actually attributes his Satanic music career to having been denied such music as a child. In short, he blames Christians.

Though Brian Warner's claims might seem logical to some, they are simply excuses and malicious attacks against God and the church. The bottom line is Brian Warner is a bitter man against God. Just as Ozzy Osborne, Brian Warner is without God...

Rock star, Marilyn Manson, proudly boasts:

Ozzy Osborne and Marilyn Manson are NOT just men without Jesus Christ, they are also men who have deliberately rejected Jesus Christ. Many of their lyrics mock the Word of God and Jesus Christ. Ozzy is also famed as the former lead singer of the Satanic band, Black Sabbath. In one of the more popular songs of Black Sabbath, Iron Man, Ozzy Osborne personifies Satan as the "Iron Man," proclaiming that he "kills those he wants saved." For Ozzy Osborne to deny any belief in heaven or hell and claim not to be a Satanist is simply absurd. Both of the men presented in this article are in desperate need of salvation, but more than likely they will both burn in hell-fire due to the stubborn rebellion and hardness of their hearts against the truth of God's Word. God will NOT be mocked, a man will reap what he sows (Galatians 6:7). Both of these wicked men can still be forgiven and saved, but they MUST come to God in repentance. God will surely receive them if they'll only repent of their unrighteousness and come to the Saviour in faith. ONLY through Jesus Christ can anyone go to heaven.

Luke 12:24, “Strive to
enter in at the strait gate:
for many, I say unto you,
will seek to enter in, and
shall not be able.”
Many people will be
shocked on Judgment Day
when they are turned
away from Heaven and
cast into the Lake of Fire.

knowing the Scriptures,
nor the power of God.”
Most religious people
today ERR in the
Scriptures and are
woefully ignorant of the
power of God.
There will be adulterers
and murderers in Heaven,
who obeyed the gospel
and believed solely upon
Christ's righteousness for
the forgiveness of their
sins.
And yet there will be
many morally upright
people, who did their best
to give to the poor and
abstain from wickedness,
who will go to Hell
forever because they died
in their sins, in their self-
righteousness without
Christ.
Religion is a paved road to
Hell. Religion wants to fit
us with glasses, but Jesus
wants to open our eyes.
Most people have
churchianity without
Christianity, and religion
without truth.
No amount of goodness
can earn a person Heaven.
There are many good
sinners in this world, but
they are still sinners.
Salvation is not by works
of righteousness. Titus
3:5, “Not by works of
righteousness which we
have done, but
according to his mercy
he saved us, by the
washing of
regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy
Ghost.”
Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by
grace are ye saved
through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God: Not of
works, lest any man
should boast.”
The hardest part about
getting a person saved is
first convincing them that
they're lost.
Acts 10:1-2, “There was
a certain man in
Caesarea called
Cornelius, a centurion of
the band called the
Italian band, A devout
man, and one that
feared God with all his
house, which gave
much alms to the
people, and prayed to
God alway.” Cornelius
was a good man who
feared God, gave to the
poor, and prayed always.
Yet, he was not saved.
God told Peter in a dream
to go witness to Cornelius.
The hard part wasn't
getting Cornelius saved, it
was getting Peter to go
witness to Cornelius. This
is the same problem in the
Church today. Getting
people saved is not the
hard part, it's trying to get
believers to go
soulwinning that's the
difficult part. Most
Christians don't obey The
Great Commission to go
soulwinning. In Matthew
28:19 Jesus said, “GO YE.”
This is the most difficult
part. The reason why
more believers aren't
concerned about the lost
souls of sinners is because
we don't hear enough
preaching these days on
eternal punishment.
It matters not how good
you may be, you can't
make up your own rules.
The strait gate which
leadeth unto life is by
faith alone in the
righteousness of Jesus. We
are saved by HIS
RIGHTEOUSNESS! Matthew
6:33, “But seek ye first
the kingdom of God,
and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS;
and all these things shall
be added unto you.”
God will forgive the vilest
sinner who comes by way
of Jesus, the Christ, the Son
of God, for forgiveness of
sins. John 20:31, “But
these are written, that
ye might believe that
Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God; and that
believing ye might have
life through his name.”
Amen and amen!
The nicest, most loving,
kindest person in the
world will go strait to Hell
to be tormented in flames
of fire forever and ever if
they die in their sins
without faith in Jesus, the
Christ. It's not what you're
doing that gets you to
Heaven, it's where you're
looking. Look to Jesus.
Isaiah 45:22, “Look
unto me, and be ye
saved, all the ends of
the earth: for I am God,
and there is none else.”
Look to Jesus!
Most religions teach that
good people go to
Heaven, and bad people
go to Hell. The truth is that
we are all bad people. We
are all guilty sinners,
having broken God's Law
(Romans 3:19). There is
NONE RIGHTEOUS (Romans
3:10). Even one sin makes
a person guilty of all in
God's eyes (James 2:10),
because even one sin
brings the curse of God's
Law upon us. Only
through Jesus Christ can
the curse be removed. We
are saved by God's grace
and mercy. No one is
worthy of Heaven.
There are some people
today who think they
must live a good life to
keep their salvation. They
have been led down a
false path and will not
make it to Heaven. Self-
righteousness is a false
road. Calvinists teach that
a person must “persevere”
in faith in order to be
saved. It is a false path of
self-righteousness.
Lordship Salvationists;
such as John MacArthur
and Ray Comfort, teach
that a sinner must cease
from committing their sins
to be saved. It is a false
path of self-righteousness,
and a heavy burden to be
borne that no man can
fulfil. Who can forsake all
their sins?
Anyone who tries to stop
living in sin as part of
their salvation is going
down a wrong path. The
gate to Heaven is the
great Shepherd, Jesus
Christ. He stands at the
gate and freely invites
anyone to enter. We are
saved by simply believing
on Jesus as the Christ, the
Son of God, to forgive our
sins. The necessary
changes to be made in a
person's life is God's
department and has
nothing to do with the
gift of eternal life. Many
good men who teach
religious doctrines will go
to Hell, because they DO
ERR, NOT KNOWING THE
SCRIPTURES (Matthew
22:29).
The simplicity that is in
Christ is that we are the
SINNERS and Jesus is the
SAVIOR.

the Work of
the Unholy

It is exceedingly easy
to make a lot of
guesses and
speculations on
matters of prophecy.
Many have done so
and have likewise
brought into disrepute
the teaching of the
second coming and
related events.
Therefore, we will
continue to follow
carefully the Word of
God.
In the last message we
discussed briefly the
coming Antichrist, his
characteristics, and his
work. We noted that
John said, "Little
children, it is the last
time: and as ye have
heard that antichrist
shall come, even now
are there many
antichrists; whereby
we know that it is the
last time" (1st John
2:18).
There are many
antichrists in the world
today. All movements
and men against our
Saviour are antichrists.
But let us notice that
there is coming an
Antichrist. The
Antichrist will be a
person. He will be a
man just as Christ was
a man. When the
Word of God speaks of
the Antichrist, the
masculine pronoun
"he" is used.
When will this
Antichrist appear? He
will appear when the
church has been
raptured and the Holy
Spirit has been taken
away.
"For the mystery of
iniquity doth
already work: only
he who now
letteth will let,
until he be taken
out of the way.
And then shall that
Wicked be
revealed, whom
the Lord shall
consume with the
spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy
with the brightness
of his coming." II
Thessalonians
2:7,8.
After the Christians
have been raptured
and the Spirit taken,
the tribulation will
begin upon the earth.
The tribulation is that
period of time when
judgments are sent by
God upon a Christ-
rejecting world. The
terrible plagues which
will come upon the
earth are described in
Revelation 6 to 18. In
the forefront during
the tribulation time
there will be three
unholy persons. All
three of them are
mentioned in
Revelation 13.
I. The Dragon
"And the dragon
gave him his
power. . . . And
they worshipped
the dragon which
gave power unto
the beast." -- vss. 2,
4
This dragon is none
other than old Satan.
He is the enemy of our
Christ. All of sin and
sorrow we see today
is because of him. All
that will come upon
the earth will be
because of him. In the
tribulation Satan will
make his last stand
and will endeavor to
get control of the
earth. He will choose a
man to be his
representative. He will
give to this person
great power. We
know him as the
Antichrist.
The Devil is God's
enemy.
The Devil is every
Christian's enemy.
The Devil is the
enemy of all
righteousness.
The Devil is the
author of sin,
suffering, and
death.
Though Satan has
great power, Christians
can defeat him today.
James says, "Submit
yourselves therefore
to God. Resist the
devil, and he will flee
from you" (James 4:7).
Christ showed us the
way when He resisted
the temptation of
Satan in the
wilderness. He won by
the sword of the Spirit.
We must battle and
win in the same way.
The end of Satan is
plainly given in the
Holy Scriptures. First,
we find that he will be
bound during the
kingdom age. This is
given in Revelation
20:1-3:
"And I saw an
angel come down
from heaven,
having the key of
the bottomless pit
and a great chain in
his hand. And he
laid hold on the
dragon, that old
serpent which is
the Devil, and
Satan, and bound
him a thousand
years, And cast him
into the bottomless
pit, and shut him
up, and set a seal
upon him, that he
should deceive the
nations no more,
till the thousand
years should be
fulfilled: and after
that he must be
loosed a little
season."
The eternal doom of
Satan is in Revelation
20:10, "And the devil
that deceived them
was cast into the lake
of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and
the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented
day and night for ever
and ever."
The Devil does not
reign in Hell as a king.
He will be tormented
in Hell just as the
others who reject the
Saviour.
II. The Beast
"And I stood upon
the sand of the sea,
and saw a beast
rise up out of the
sea, having seven
heads and ten
horns, and upon his
horns ten crowns,
and upon his heads
the name of
blasphemy." -- Rev.
13:1
This is the one to
whom the Devil gives
power and authority.
This beast is the
Antichrist.
Note the origin of the
beast. He will rise up
out of the sea. The sea
is typical of the Gentile
nations. The particular
sea in mind is
doubtless the
Mediterranean for it is
the center, so to speak,
of the former Roman
Empire. The ten horns
are a further mark of
identification, showing
that the Roman Empire
is referred to, not as it
has been during its
entire existence, but as
it shall be known in its
last form. The seven
heads doubtless
symbolize the
different forms of
government in which
the Roman Empire has
existed from its
beginning to the end.
Revelation 13:3 speaks
of the restoration of
the Roman Empire
when it will be a
federated empire of
ten kingdoms, ruled
over by the beast. This
beast will be a warlike
person, for the world
will say, "Who is like
unto the beast? who is
able to make war with
him?" He will be a
blasphemer. "And he
opened his mouth in
blasphemy against
God, to blaspheme his
name, and his
tabernacle, and them
that dwell in heaven."
The Antichrist will be
an atheist. He will set
himself above all that
is called God and will
cause the people to
worship him.
The beast as set before
us in Revelation 13 is
the dragon's
masterpiece of
delusion. Satan has
always wanted people
to worship him, and
now through the work
of the beast they do
so, for verse 4 says,
"And they worshipped
the dragon which gave
power unto the beast."
III. The False Prophet
This is the third
member of the unholy
trinity -- Satan, the
beast, the false
prophet.
The false prophet will
be a man, just as the
beast. This is proven
by the doom of the
false prophet as given
in Revelation 19:20.
False systems or
empires are dealt with
by God on earth, but
persons are cast into
the lake of fire.
The first beast came
out of the sea. This
second beast or false
prophet comes up out
of the earth. If the sea
symbolizes the Gentile
nations, the earth
possibly symbolizes
Israel. This false
prophet, as he is called,
may be a Jew, while
the beast before
whom he exercises his
power may be a
Gentile.
The first beast will be
a dictator and a world
ruler. This second beast
will be something of a
religious leader and
will perform wonders
and cause the people
to worship the beast.
The main business of
the false prophet is to
support the beast. He
will be the absolute
tool of the first beast.
Seven verses give a
summary of his work.
Consider Revelation
13:12-15
"And he exerciseth
all the power of
the first beast
before him, and
causeth the earth
and them which
dwell therein to
worship the first
beast, whose
deadly wound was
healed. And he
doeth great
wonders, so that
he maketh fire
come down from
heaven on the
earth in the sight
of men. And
deceiveth them
that dwell on the
earth by the means
of those miracles
which he had
power to do in the
sight of the beast;
saying to them
that dwell on the
earth that they
should make an
image to the beast,
which had the
wound by a sword,
and did live. And
he had power to
give life unto the
image of the beast,
that the image of
the beast should
both speak, and
cause that as many
as would not
worship the image
of the beast should
be killed."
Let us list the work of
this evil one:
1. He will exercise the
power of the
Antichrist, and cause
the world to worship
the first beast.
2. He will perform
great wonders and
bring down fire from
heaven in the sight of
men.
3. He will deceive
earth-dwellers by
means of his miracles.
4. He will cause the
people to make an
image of the beast. He
will give life to the
image and destroy all
who will not worship
the image of the beast.
And now, may we
consider the closing
three verses of
Revelation 13.
"And he causeth all,
both small and
great, rich and
poor, free and
bond, to receive a
mark in their right
hand, or in their
foreheads: And
that no man might
buy or sell save he
that had the mark,
or the name of the
beast, or the
number of his
name. Here is
wisdom. Let him
that hath
understanding
count the number
of the beast: for it
is the number of a
man; and his
number is Six
hundred three
score and six."
In the tribulation days
it will be either
worship the beast or
starve. All men, both
small and great, rich
and poor, free and
bond, will be forced to
receive a mark in their
right hands or in their
foreheads. No one will
be able to buy or sell
without this mark.
Those who would eat
must bear the marks
or the name or the
number of the beast.
"Here is wisdom. Let
him that hath
understanding count
the number of the
beast: for it is the
number of a man; and
his number is Six
hundred threescore
and six."
Many people have
tried to figure out the
meaning of this
number, 666. The
outstanding Bible
teachers simply say
that six is the number
of man. It represents
imperfection, for seven
is God's number of
perfection.
Dr. William R. Newell
says that God will give
full understanding to
His saints in the
tribulation when it is
needed. The saints of
the church age will not
be there, but there will
be tribulation saints
who 'worship not the
beast and receive not
the mark.' They will
know and understand
this man. His number
will be plain to them,
for it is the number of
a man.
Many people have
tried to arrive at this
mysterious number. It
has been pointed out
that the word Latin is
spelled with Greek
letters, lateinos, makes
six hundred sixty-six
in their numerical
value. Others have
called attention to the
same fact concerning
Nero Caesar spelled in
Hebrew -- the
numerical value comes
to six hundred sixty-
six.
But putting aside vain
guesses, we know that
six is the utmost reach
of man. Man was
created on the sixth
day. God's great
human opponents
have been marked by
the number six. Goliath
was six cubits in
height. His spear's
head weighed six
shekels, and he had six
pieces of armor.
Nebuchadnezzar's
image was sixty cubits
high and six broad.
These are but a few of
the sixes which attach
themselves to men.
In connection with this
number of the beast
someone has said that
it is interesting that
the radio broadcasting
wave length of Rome,
Italy, is 666.
In the light of the
tragic days ahead,
there are two things
we should do. First, we
should rejoice in our
own salvation and in
the fact that we will
escape the terrible
things which are
coming upon the
earth. Second, we
should endeavor with
all our power to bring
people to Christ so that
they will be saved and
escape the awful
tribulation. This is the
time to win people
before the darkness
settles upon the earth.
We have darkness
now, but not as it will
be in that awful
coming day.

You Need HIS
Righteousness!

kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all
these things shall be
added unto you." —
Matthew 6:33
Matthew
6:33 teaches
that we are
saved by
Jesus'
righteousness
and not by
any self-righteousness of
our own (for we have
none to offer God). All
men have fallen short of
the glory of God (Romans
3:23). If it were possible
for a man to redeem
himself, then Christ would
not have had to enter this
world and die on the
cross. Jesus paid a debt
that He did not owe,
because we owed a debt
that we could not pay.
Biblical repentance is the
recognition of my
sinnership—the owning
before God that I am as
vile as He has declared me
to be in His holy Word.
God will forgive anybody
who looks to Jesus to be
saved, no matter how
deep in sin you may be.
The Word of God plainly
teaches that eternal life is
a FREE GIFT (Romans
5:15), paid for by Jesus'
precious blood (1st Peter
1:18,19). Amen! Salvation
is receiving, not giving. It
is not what we do that
saves us; but rather, what
Christ has done for us in
His work of redemption.
The Bible proclaims that
Jesus died, was buried and
rose again. This is the
good news (the gospel)...
1st Corinthians 15:1-4,
“Moreover, brethren, I
declare unto you the
gospel which I preached
unto you, which also ye
have received, and
wherein ye stand; By
which also ye are saved,
if ye keep in memory
what I preached unto
you, unless ye have
believed in vain. For I
delivered unto you first
of all that which I also
received, how that Christ
died for our sins
according to the
scriptures; And that he
was buried, and that he
rose again the third day
according to the
scriptures.”
Salvation is of the Lord,
not man. A person does
not have to stop living in
sin to be saved , for that
would make salvation a
reward instead of a free
gift. A changed life is the
result of genuine
repentance, and not a part
of saving-faith (2nd
Corinthians 5:17). We
don't give up our sins to
get saved; we give up our
sins because WE ARE
SAVED. God makes the
change. Salvation is by
grace through faith alone
in Christ (Ephesians 2:8,9).
Many religions today
falsely teach that a person
is required to be baptized
in order to go to Heaven.
Other religions falsely
teach that a person is
required to forsake their
sins in order to go to
Heaven.
Some religions falsely
require a person to
observe the Sabbath, tithe,
partake of Sacraments, or
join a certain religious
denomination to go to
Heaven. These are all lies
of the Devil, who is the
father of all liars (John
8:44).
Eternal life is a free gift
(Romans 6:23).
The truth of God's Word is
that we need Jesus'
righteousness in order to
be saved and go to
Heaven one day.
This is because we have
no righteousness of our
own to offer God (Romans
3:10; James 2:10).
All we can offer God is our
own self-righteousness,
which is not acceptable to
God (Isaiah 64:6).
We need Jesus'
righteousness, which is by
faith in Him alone for
salvation...
"For he [God the Father]
hath made him [Jesus the

knew no sin; that we
might be made the
righteousness of God in

Jesus paid for our sins
with His blood.
We
read
in
Romans 10:3-4, "For they
being ignorant of God's
righteousness, and going
about to establish their
own righteousness, have
not submitted themselves
unto the righteousness of
God. For Christ is the end
of the law for
righteousness to every
one that believeth."
Salvation is found ONLY in
Jesus Christ! Would you
like to be saved?
Admit that you are a
GUILTY sinner, under the
condemnation of God's
Law, deserving of Hellfire.
Believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ to forgive your sins
and save you. Believe that
Christ died, was buried
and rose again for your
sins.

Soulwinning is not an
option in the Christian life,
it is a divine command
from the Lord (Proverb
11:30; Daniel 12:3;
Matthew 28:19,20; Luke
14:23). If you are a born-
again Christian, then I
plead with you in Jesus'
name to become
aggressive about
soulwinning.
"In flaming fire taking
vengeance on them that
know not God, and that
obey not the gospel of

Social drinking is not the
solution to the problem of
alcoholism. Rather the
social glass is the starting
point of the majority of
alcoholics.
If legal age barriers are
eliminated in the sale of
alcoholic beverages, and
boys and girls are
encouraged to drink in the
homes, in society, and at
church sponsored
functions, what would be
the result ? There would
be increased slaughter on
our highways due to
drunken driving including
that of teenage drivers.
The national crime bill,
already the highest on
record, will be greatly
increased.
As strong drink destroys
the mind and body and
removes all moral
inhibitions, the nation
would be further
weakened to subversive
forces boring from within.
The rich owners of huge
liquor monopolies and big
investors will become
richer still as families are
reduced to abject poverty,
and youth winds up in a
gutter. Increased
drunkenness is one of the
given signs of the last
days: " But ye, brethren,
are not in darkness, that
that day should
overtake you as a
thief... Therefore let us
not sleep, as do others,
but let us watch and be
sober. For they that
sleep sleep in the night;
and they that be
drunken are drunken in
the night. But let us,
who are of the day be
sober... For God hath not
appointed us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation
by our Lord Jesus
Christ " (1st Thessalonians
5:4-9).
Those who are drunken in
the night are not the
children of light. Only the
children of light are
appointed to obtain
salvation. Those who are
of the night and darkness
including drunkards, are
appointed to wrath. What
will drunkards do, when
in the last great war of
this age, the vintage is cut
off, and there is no more
wine? They will awake
and weep and howl as
forecast by the prophets.
(Joel 1:5; Isaiah 24:1)
In view of His sudden
return, Jesus specifically
warned Christians, saying
" Take heed to
yourselves, lest at any
time your hearts be
overcharged with
surfeiting, and
drunkenness, and cares
of this life, and so that
day come upon you
unawares " (Luke21:34).
But sad to say, many do
not heed this warning.
Likewise there are
ministers today, who, like
the householder in Jesus'
parable, have said in their
hearts, "My Lord delayeth
His coming," and are now
engaged in smiting their
fellowservants and eating
and drinking with the
drunken. Upon such, the
Lord will come in an hour
when they think not, and
shall appoint their portion
with the hypocrites where
"...there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth
(Matthew 24.51).

I have already written on
the way Christian couples
copy unsaved immorality
by 'sleeping
together' ( BTM Article
O-242). In this paper I
will look at yet another
shame on modern
Christians, particularly
the young, who think it
is acceptable to attend
clubs, and to indulge in
the pathetic activity
called 'partying'. And it
really is pathetic!
Yes, I know some will
brand me a 'miserable
old ...', and I know I will
be seen as a killjoy. But, I
do not care about that.
What I care about is how
Christians should behave
before an increasingly
wicked generation,
especially as what they
do dishonours God and
Christ's Church.
No Christian, young or
old, is given a concession
to go clubbing and
partying! Do not tell me
that people in Christ's
days on earth never
clubbed or partied,
because they did! It was
not called clubbing and
partying then, but they
indulged in the same
kinds of sinful
behaviours, if not worse.
There is nothing wrong
with going to a party...
but what you mean by a
'party' is important!
For example, Jesus
attended a wedding, but
there is no way He
would have been part of
drunken or stupid
behaviour. This is why,
whenever I am invited to
a wedding, I go home
after the main event.
And, if I attend a party, I
leave early, before the
usual rowdy karaoke
and, sadly, excessive
drinking starts.
The reason for this paper
(and the previous one on
'sleeping together'), is
NOT to stop Christians of
any age enjoying a party.
Rather, it wishes to
remind them that
Christians have standards
of behaviour given by
God. Parties today
usually involve much
noise, immodest dress,
secular music (often with
dubious lyrics and
music), and drinking of
alcohol. Scripture does
not speak against
alcohol, but it definitely
warns against drunken
behaviour. Christians
must not follow the
herd, the unsaved who
wantonly drink to
oblivion, dress
provocatively and
sexually, use
inappropriate language
and carry out sinful
activities. In other words,
they must stand out
from the crowd, with
decency, modesty and
right thinking.
Most parties include
those who take drugs
and drink excessively. In
my view no Christian
party should have
alcohol, as a principle of
showing a difference. A
sit-down meal
accompanied by a small
glass of wine is
acceptable; anything
after that tends to go
downhill and get very
noisy! Parties even mix
saved and unsaved, so
there cannot be true
fellowship at all. Alcohol
only adds to the
tendency to do and say
what is inappropriate.
And, when girls dress
'down to the belly and
up to the thighs', there
can only be one effect on
males. It is simply not
acceptable.
As for clubs, well... where
do we start!? Night clubs
are filled to the rafters
with people who drink
themselves stupid, take
drugs, search for sexual
partners, make lewd and
sexual suggestions,
indulge in very lewd
activities, enjoy violence,
and listen to blasting
noise pretending to be
music. Perhaps I am
being picky, but I could
not imagine any person
being encouraged along
those lines by Christ! You
only have to look at any
of the TV police
programmes, to see
what I am talking about.
While much of this goes
on amongst youngsters,
older Christians are also
caught in this web of sin.
For the life of me, I
cannot see the 'fun' in
being totally 'smashed',
or even what some call
'tipsy'. Many end up
vomiting, and even more
tell us they 'must have
had a good time – I can't
remember a thing!' We
see youngsters going
abroad for the specific
aim of getting drunk
every day and having as
much sex as possible. It is
appalling and very sad to
see these people lurching
around drunk, being sick,
girls lifting up their skirts
to reveal their personal
parts, and going off for
sex with anyone who
fancies it. No-one ever
mentions catching STDs
and HIV, or any other
problem.
Nightclubs are Satan's
realm. It is where people
go because their lives are
in a mess. They claim to
'enjoy' it, but they do
what they do because
they are empty and dull
inside. As Paul says in
Ephesians 4:17-24:
"This I say therefore...
that ye henceforth
walk not as other
Gentiles walk, in the
vanity of their mind,
Having the
understanding
darkened, being
alienated from the
life of God through
the ignorance that is
in them, because of
the blindness of their
heart: Who being
past feeling have
given themselves
over unto
lasciviousness, to
work all uncleanness
with greediness. But
ye have not so
learned of Christ...
(so) put off
concerning the
former conversation
the old man, which is
corrupt according to
the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in
the spirit of your
mind; And that ye put
on the new man,
which after God is
created in
righteousness and
true holiness."
You cannot witness to
Christ in clubs and
parties!
Where, in that text (and
others) can you find any
excuse to go partying
and clubbing? Christians
must act wisely and
decently. For very odd
reasons, some say that
"they are only young –
let them enjoy
themselves". Enjoy
what? Pickling the liver
and dying young?
Getting HIV or an STD?
Being involved in drugs
and violence? Or, young
women - sorry to use
street language -
dressing like tarts and
looking for sexual
encounters? Because
most of these people are
young, they are also
immature: we should be
protecting them, not
encouraging them to act
like idiots. We must ALL
be holy, decent, modest
and clean-living. There is
something seriously
wrong with people
(young or old) who
think a 'good time' must
involve drink, drugs, sex,
nasty music, violence,
and foul or explicit
language!
Rather, encourage
Christians to look for
fresh, clean fun! Clubs are
the dirty-end of today's
sinful activities, places
riddled with everything
to bring a Christian
down, as well as ruin
those unfortunate drones
who copy others to
oblivion.

Scripture refers to
‘crowns’ awarded to
Christians. What does this
mean?
“And every man that
striveth for the mastery
is temperate in all things.
Now they [do it] to
obtain a corruptible
crown; but we an
incorruptible.” (1
Corinthians 9:25)
Paul is speaking of
athletes who master
their own selves in order
to gain a garland or
wreath of victory at
games. This wreath,
made of freshly picked
leaves, will quickly fade
and die, so Paul calls it a
“corruptible crown”. The
crown, stephanos, comes
from stepho – to
wreathe or twine or to
encircle.
The “incorruptible”
crown given to Christians
marks our exalted status
in Christ. It refers to the
many blessings we will
know, given by God to
those who are genuine in
their faith and who
strive to glorify God. The
‘crown’, then, is an
eternal acknowledgment
by God that we honour
Him.
1 Thessalonians 2:19
asks “What is our hope,
or joy, or crown of
rejoicing?” Thus, hope
and joy, spiritual
blessings, are equated
with the crown. We
could put it this way – in
what do we rejoice?
Hope and joy.
All who are righteous
will be awarded a crown
by God, when we meet
Him face to face. It will
be a sign that God
approves of our
righteousness: it is “a
crown of righteousness”.
(2 Timothy 4:. It is
“laid up” or put aside, for
us. We can see, then, that
the crown is for both this
world (re above quote)
and for the one to come,
which links perfectly
with the idea that we
have one foot in Heaven
though we still have the
other foot on earth..
Those who stand firm
and do not give in to the
enemy or to his own
desires will “receive the
crown of life” promised
to all who love Him. That
is, when we are
righteous we will receive
acknowledgement of our
life in the form of
blessings – in this case
“life”. It is to know
abundance of spiritual
joy in this life. A life lived
in Christ is vibrant, full,
active, joyful… the things
we ought to experience,
and is given to all who
believe and obey. From
the root, zao, it means
we will know freshness,
strength and great
spiritual power.
When Christ returns, He
will award those who
are faithful a “crown of
glory”… the blessing of
knowing Him in His risen
body and character, and
of sharing eternity with
Him in Heaven. The term
“glory” also signifies that
Christ has a good opinion
of those who are faithful,
and this is the basis for
His award of a crown. In
other words, He allows
us entry into Heaven to
be with Him.
The “crown of life” is also
referred to in Revelation
2:10, and in Revelation
3:11 we are warned to
beware of those who
wish to remove our
crown. This is because
our crown is dependent
on our own actions: if
we dishonour the Lord in
any way, then those
who persuade us to do
so effectively remove
what God has given to us
– His good opinion, peace
and benefits.
Does all this mean
Christians will somehow
be given different levels
of status in Heaven, or on
this earth? No, it does
not, because such a
status would be contrary
to the words of Christ,
Who said we are all
equal.
The crowns are awarded
by God on a personal
level, and I doubt anyone
would be aware of them.
Rather, they will live
righteously, and so will
be humble enough not to
expect or notice crowns
awarded by God!
The texts telling us about
crowns are, then,
reminders of God’s
approval of lives lived
for Him, in obedience.
Perhaps one way of
looking at it is if we
hearken back to our days
as children. If we were
naughty our parents
would disapprove and
say so, but if we were
good, they smiled a lot
and showed approval.
This made us feel happy
and so we endeavoured
to make them more
pleased. Their approval
and smiles were our
‘crown’, symbols of a
joyous state between
parent and child. A
similar joy applies to all
Christians whose lives
are righteous.
If a man is righteous, it
means he is already
living a holy life,
regardless of occasional
slips into sin. The
righteousness has an
effect all its own, as it
brings God’s love to us in
a special way; we then
respond to that by
determining to be more
pure. The love shown to
us by God is the crown,
and we wish to gain
more of His love, so we
use that crown as a
spring-board, and
continue to live
righteously.
Some have many
crowns, because God
awards them to the
believer whose whole
life revolves around Him
and His word. They see
and experience many
benefits and gifts from
God, and so their lives
whilst on this earth are
filled with purity and
holiness. Still sinners
saved by grace, but with
many crowns from God.
Our aim at all times
should be to earn those
crowns, not because it
pleases us, but because it
pleases the Lord. Is this
your aim in life? It
should be.

Last week we
looked at tattoos and
body piercing and the
article was quite silent
on the subject of
earrings. Earrings, I
fear, is an area much
like alcohol
consumption for the
Christian. The Bible says
much about alcohol and
from what the Bible says
on the subject of
drinking one is led to
make a strong
argument against
drinking alcohol if you
are a Christian.
Likewise, the Bible has
much to say about
jewelry in general, but it
actually makes many
specific references to
earrings. From what the
Bible says on that
subject, one is led to
make a strong
argument against the
wearing of earrings.
The one
argument I won’t make
for the wearing of
earrings versus nose
rings and tongue rings
is the argument that
says it’s culturally
acceptable. Many
ungodly practices today
are culturally acceptable,
but they are still wrong
(divorce, premarital sex,
drinking, etc) and what’s
not culturally acceptable
today, may very well be
embraced by
Christendom in the
decades to come. But
God is the same today,
yesterday, and forever
(Hebrews 13: and
therefore His Word, and
the faith upon which it
is founded, should never
change to suit society’s
changing whims about
what is morally and
culturally acceptable…
that’s too subjective.
So the safest
thing to do when
arguing for or against
something is to not
interject your own
opinions, fancies, biases,
and whatever. No, the
smartest and safest
thing to do is to let the
Bible say what is says
and then let you, the
reader, formulate your
own argument against
the Bible, if you wish,
and to have you take it
up with God Himself. I
believe, not opine, but
believe that the Bible’s
argument will be
against the wearing of
earrings for the same
reasons less culturally
acceptable piercing is
wrong…so let’s start
there by way of review.
Ye shall not make
any cuttings in your
flesh for the dead, nor
print any marks upon
you: I am the Lord
(Leviticus 19:28).
Piercing ones body and
getting marks (tattoos)
were a heathen and
pagan practice from
which God demanded
separation. So, unless
you wear clip-on
earrings, you have
pierced (cut) your
earlobes. So if we will
take the posture that
piercing body parts is
wrong when we pierce
the tongue, nose, naval,
then we must also
accept that piercing
one’s earlobe falls under
that same category…we
cut into our ears.
Remember, if you use
Leviticus 19:28 to argue
against piercing, it
doesn’t differentiate
between a naval and an
earlobe…just “any
cuttings.”
Some have
speculated, with Biblical
references to support
their claims, that the
wearing of earrings and
other jewelry had its
origins in commerce in
ancient Biblical times.
Before money was
originated and minted,
people paid for things
with jewelry. In Genesis
24:22, we find that the
servant of Abraham
paid Rebecca with a
golden earring and two
bracelets. In another
example of this, when
the Israelites left Egypt,
their riches were in gold
and jewels and jewelry.
So when it came time to
offer their “money” for
the building of the
tabernacle, this is what
the Bible records: “And
they came, both men
and women, as many as
were willing-hearted,
and brought bracelets,
and earrings, and rings,
and tablets, and all
jewels of gold: and
every man that offered,
offered an offering of
gold unto God (Exodus
35:22). Some have
argued that God created
these precious things for
practical purposes, for
the wealth they hold
within, and not to be
tied up, useless in
someone’s earlobe.
When focusing on
earrings, you have to go
back and understand
that just as a tongue
stud or a nose piercing,
or a bellybutton ring is
meant to attract and
draw others’ eyes to
you, so too is the
wearing of earrings.
Listen, my favorite color
is red. If I wear a red
shirt or a red tie, I do so
because I see it before
me and it pleases me to
see the color red. You
can’t say you wear an
earring for any other
reason other than to
adorn yourself to look
attractive to someone
else. I can say that
because unlike how I
can look at my red tie
for my own personal
enjoyment, no one has
that great of peripheral
vision that you can say
you can see your own
earring. There’s no two
ways about it, earrings
are worn to attract the
eyes of others.
What if a young
girl in junior high saw
women in the church
with pierced ears and
went to get their ears
pierced as well. What
happens if that same
girl, who innocently got
her ears pierced
because the ladies in the
church did also, fell into
a snare and began
getting multiple pierces
because she liked the
look and feel and
attention it got her. The
ladies in the church
inadvertently became a
stumbling block to this
one young Christian girl.
Your wearing of
earrings may be a
stumbling block, and
that’s a principal that
Paul warns against in
First Corinthians 8:9-10.
Now think about
the problem pastors
have. If earrings are
allowed for the women,
why not the men? Well,
before you begin
thinking that’s silly,
earrings on men is
extremely socially
acceptable at this time.
Remember the NFL
football player who lost
his earring during
practice? No one said,
What’s a guy doing
wearing an earring?
Nope. You know what
people said? What’s a
guy like that wearing an
earring DURING
PRACTICE! By the way,
his name was Kendall
Langford of the Miami
Dolphins and his lost
earring cost $50,000.
Again, practical wealth
rendered useless in
some guy’s earlobe.
Men did have
their ears pierced in the
Bible, but like you’ll see
in a few moments,
references in the Bible
to earrings is always in
a spiritually poor light.
In fact, the spiritual
contexts associated with
the Bible’s references to
earrings are not what
serious minded
Christians should be
striving for. In Exodus
21 we find that if a Jew
had a debt and he was
unable to pay, he could
be bought by another
Israelite master and
forced to pay off his
debt by being a slave to
this master for seven
years. After the seven-
year period, the slave
was free, with the debt
no longer being owed.
However, if the slave
loved his master more
than his freedom, and
wanted to stay bound to
his master, the master
would take him to the
judges to make it legally
binding and then they
would take the slave to
the doorpost and pierce
his ear through as a sign
that he would be a
servant to his master
forever.
Here’s the
negative spiritual
context. We had a debt
we could not pay. In
due time, God provided
a way for us to be free
from the debt.
However, to reject the
offer of freedom from
our sin debt, we show
that we love this current
world more than God
and therefore choose to
remain enslaved to our
master (the devil). In
essence, having one’s
ear pierced was a sign
of giving up the
freedom that was
available to them by
virtue of the Law God
had given to the
Israelites, and turning
their backs on what God
had afforded them.
Read Exodus 21:5-6 and
then quickly read
Matthew 6:24.
Another spiritual
aspect to be aware of
relating to earrings is
that they offer the
person an opportunity
to fall into another sin.
Obviously if you adorn
yourself with earrings,
and you desire to be
noticed, you run the risk
of falling into a prideful
state. Satan, originally
known as Lucifer, was
adorned by God in all
precious stones and
jewelry (Ezekiel
28:13-19) and it led to
his downfall. As one
commentary puts it: “If
pride is deadly enough
to destroy a most
powerful and wise
being, how much more
should we mortals take
heed not to walk
independently of the
Lord!” There’s another
way the tradition of
earrings gave the
Israelites another
opportunity to sin. In
Exodus 32, the people,
under Aaron’s
command took off their
earrings (vs. 2-4) and
that’s what they used to
fashion the golden calf
that caught the ire of
God that day. They may
have found other things
to use to fashion the
golden calf, but it’s
interesting how readily
available sin was
because of the earrings
they had been
wearing…like the
heathen were. God
dealt with the Israelites
about that sin in Exodus
33 and commanded
them to strip
themselves of their
ornaments.
Remember when
God met with Moses and
said this: “ And he said,
Draw not nigh hither:
put off thy shoes from
off thy feet, for the place
whereon thou standest
is holy ground (Exodus
3:5). God expected
Moses to meet with Him
properly. When Jacob
wanted to build an altar
to God in Genesis 35 in
honor of God’s
deliverance from his
enemies, Jacob put a
command to his family:
“And let us arise and go
up to Beth-el; and I will
make there an altar unto
God, who answered me
in the day of my
distress, and was with
me in the way which I
went. And they gave
unto Jacob all the
strange gods which
were in their hand, and
all their earrings which
were in their ears ; and
Jacob hid them under
the oak which was by
Shechem (Genesis
35:3-4). If wearing
earrings was a pagan
practice, it obviously
was understood by
Jacob that his family
could not commune
with God under those
circumstances. Thus,
they cleaned themselves
up…purified
themselves…and met
with God.
Let’s not forget
that a big component to
the verse in Leviticus
19:28 was extended also
to the priests: “They
shall not make baldness
upon their head, neither
shall they shave off the
corner of their beard,
nor make any cuttings
in their flesh. They shall
be holy unto their God
and not profane the
name of their God
(Leviticus 21:5-6).
Apparently God feels
that cuttings in the flesh
(piercing) is unholy, else
He would not have
reminded the priests
not to do something in
order to remain holy.
How can you not at least
wonder about the status
of pierced ears in God’s
eyes?
So, without
actually taking the
stance that the wearing
of earrings is a sin, I can
confidently say that
wearing earrings is not
helpful to a Christian in
any way when it comes
to being more godly
and adding one iota
more of spirituality. In
fact, we have seen how
it can be detrimental to
one’s spiritual walk in
many different ways:
1. It clearly goes against
God’s commands in
Leviticus 19:28 and
Leviticus 21:5-6.
2. There is wealth and
monetary value in the
jewels and gold we
wear that causes one to
question whether or not
we are being good
stewards with the
money God gives us.
$50,000 would go a long
way in any church
toward the work of God,
but not stuck in
someone’s ear.
3. Earrings are worn for no
other reason but to
adorn yourself, as if the
way God made you
wasn’t attractive
enough.
4. You run the risk of being
a stumbling block to
other young women.
5. Once you decide that it’s
OK for women to wear
earrings, what’s to stop
men from making
arguments that they
can’t. This Bible gives
several references that
show us that men were
wearing earrings at one
time back in the day
(Genesis 35:3-4).
6. Earrings gave the
people who wore them
during Bible times an
opportunity to sin
through pride (what
tripped up Lucifer and
caused his fall), idolatry
(when the Israelites
melted their earrings to
fashion the golden calf),
and Jacob knew his
family couldn’t meet
with God in true
worship by coming to
Him with remnants of
the world’s way
dangling from their
ears.
7. Lastly, God references a
few things in Leviticus
21:5-6, including making
cuttings (of which
pierced ears are) and
calls them unholy.
Again, some Christians
refuse to gamble in a
casino for high stakes,
but don’t feel so
convicted about buying
a $1 Powerball ticket.
Either gambling is
wrong…or not wrong,
and it has nothing to do
with the severity or
amount of gambling.
Other people refuse to
get drunk because
they’re Christians, but
they feel it’s OK to have
a glass of wine at dinner
once in a while. Either
drinking is wrong…or
not wrong, and it has
nothing to do with the
amount one drinks.
Some Christians refuse
to get nose, tongue,
naval piercing, but don’t
feel so convicted about
piercing their ears.
Either piercing one’s
body is wrong…or not
wrong. It’s got nothing
to do with what is
pierced and how many
times it’s pierced.
Get the point?
What you do with what
the Bible says will match
the level of conviction
you have on the subject
of pierced ears and the
wearing of earrings. It
may seem like a little
thing, but many little
things can lead to one’s
downfall (read the July
3, 2010 article about
Sampson). Then again,
what we may feel is a
little thing, was
important enough for
God to make several
specific references to
earrings, and show
them in a bad light. Be
prayerful about what
God would have you to
do with this subject.
Also, go back and look at
the summary of the
seven ways earrings
could lead one away,
and see if there are any
areas in your life right
now that you are weak
in and ready to fall into
a snare…then go from
there to decide if giving
up the earrings isn’t
such a bad idea and one
you could definitely live
with.

"Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it." (Isaiah 5:14).

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it: And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way. And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments. For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee." (Exodus 33:1-5).

Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went. And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem." (Genesis 35:1-4).

Computer games used
as a tool to praise Satan

Satan has been using many
different devices and
contraptions in order to lure the
already lost closer to a Christless
eternity. While some Christians
agree that a few of Satan's
methods are rock music,
"Christian" rock, movies, and
television, one of the ones that
can often be forgotten is
computer games. I have had
some gaming experience in my
life, and if you look carefully,
you can pinpoint Satan's tricks
of the trade quite easily. I will
display some of these a little
later.
Satan knows he's already been
judged by the Lord Jesus and is
going to Hell for eternity, so
before he gets tossed into the
lake of fire, he will attempt to
get as many people as he can to
fall in the ditch with him so they
will burn up with him –
FOREVER (Revelations 12:12).
In computer games (and any
other medium), he knows that it
is important to desensitize man
to his bidding, so he's got to
make them tolerate the material,
then accept it, then finally
imitate it. In this article, I'm
trying to focus on how Satan
uses these games to help
increase the population of Hell.
The praise of Satan
One of the first things that I
thought of when deciding to
write this article were the
occultic symbols that can be
found in some popular games.
Doom, by Id Software, is
considered by many to be the
greatest game of all time. Its
graphics and eerie sounds and
music are probably the creepiest
on the market. But why are
there so many satanic symbols
found in the game??
In the first episode "Knee Deep
in the Dead", some pentagrams
can be found. Click here to see a
sample. At the last level of the
first episode, Phobos Anomaly,
the hero of the game, a
stranded space marine, must
step onto a platform with the
symbol of a goat behind a
pentagram in order to exit the
level. In the first level of the
second episode "The Shores Of
Hell", an inverted cross can be
found right near the beginning.
In the third episode, called
"Inferno", more pentagrams can
be found on the ground in one
of the levels. Teleporters, which
move the player to different
areas of the level, have
pentagrams on them – some
are different than others, for
example, one of them has a 6 on
it, but they are still there, and
that's what matters. Click here to

When exiting the shareware
version of the game, you will
see a screen with more info
about what is in the full
registered version. Here's what
a section of it says:
"... Sure, don't order DOOM.
Sit back with your milk and
cookies and let the universe
go to Hell. Don't face the
onslaught of demons and
spectres that await you on
The Shores of Hell. Avoid the
terrifying confrontations
with cacodemons and lost
souls that infest Inferno.
Or, act like a man! Slap a
few shells into your
shotgun and let's kick some
demonic butt. Order the
entire DOOM trilogy now!
After all, you'll probably end
up in Hell eventually.
Shouldn't you know your
way around before you
make the extended visit? ..."
This is a good example of how
Satan, working behind the
curtains, likes to make himself
subtle and put into the ranks of
Santa (Satan?) Claus, the Easter
Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. But
if possible, Satan would rather
have himself worshipped
( Isaiah 14:14 ). According to
Revelation 13, the whole world
will worship the dragon (Satan).
Afterlife, by Lucasarts, is another
one of Satan's highest
masterpieces of subtlety in the
area of computer games. In the
game, which is reminiscent of
Simcity 2000, players develop a
Heaven and Hell that is far from
the Heaven and Hell of the Bible.
The plotline is that you are a
local deity that must take care of
Heaven and Hell. Intended to be
humorous, the object of the
game is to zone areas for the
seven virtues and sins for souls
of an alien race to inhabit
without going bankrupt (If you
do get bankrupt, "The four
Surfers of the Apocalypso" come
and destroy Heaven and Hell).
The different religions in the
game each consist of four letter
acronyms. Depending on what
the souls believe will determine
where they go -- if they believe
in one of the religions that
involves reincarnation, like RALF
(Reincarnation always loops
fate), they will go back to earth
to return at a later time. If they
only believe in Heaven (OCRA,
Only Cloud Realms Await) or Hell
(OPRA, Only Pit Realms Await),
they will go there. Some can
even believe that they go from
Heaven to Hell continually (SUMA,
souls undergo multiple
afterlifes). This all makes me
think of the "More than one way
to Heaven" tactic the ecumenical
movement is using right this
second. One of the religions is
HOHO (Heaven or Hell only).
HOHOists, depending on the
good vs. evil balance in a soul,
determines where the soul goes.
Did the designers of this game
contact the Watchtower Society,
the Promise Keepers, or the LDS
church for help on making this
game or something?
In Heaven/Hell, the souls are
rewarded/punished in different
buildings depending on the
virtue/sin they've done, and the
buildings are all meant to be
humorous. Some of the
buildings in Hell are "[deleted...]",
while some of the buildings in
Heaven are "[deleted]", etc.. It's
all a way of trying to make
Satan and Hell more subtle.
Quake, one of Id Software's
more recent offerings, is much
like Doom, but much more
technologically advanced, with
polygons instead of sprites. But
don't let that fool you -- there's
more of the same satanic fare,
only just a bit more in your face.
While loading up Quake or
Doom, there is a loading
indicator in the top right or
bottom right of the screen. In
Doom, the indicator was a small
picture of a disk, but in Quake,
in the top right of the screen
however, it is a pentagram. Click

How do these things get in
here??
This is just the beginning. One
of the powerups in Quake is
called "The pentagram of
protection", a red rotating
pentagram. Click here to see a
sample screen. It makes your
character invincible for a brief
period of time. While the
powerup is in affect, your
characters armor rating turns to
"666" and the portrait of your
character turns to a more
demonic look. Click here to see a
sample screen. Yet again I ask,
how do these things get in
here?
In order to open doors and
trigger reactions to help
progress through the levels,
buttons need to be pushed. One
of these buttons has a star that
is in front of a smaller circle. Is
this another pentagram?? Click
here to see a sample screen. Also
in the picture, you can see a box
of nails (the nails are ammo for
the nailgun, a rapid fire weapon
in the game) has the "NIN"
symbol on it. That is the symbol
for the blasphemous industrial
group, Nine Inch Nails, which
did the CD soundtrack (no lyrics)
for the game!

blasphemes Jesus in his songs...

Trent Reznor also has an
instrumental only song called
"Help me i am in Hell". Seeing the
path he's chosen, it might not be
too long before the song title
becomes a reality for him!!
Hopefully he will repent and get
saved before it is too late for
him.
Some of the levels in Quake
have joyful names like "Castle of
the damned", "Hell's Atrium",
"The palace of hate", and
"Satan's dark delight". What I
find more interesting is how
there is a question and answer
section in the Quake instruction
manual, and there is a question
that goes something like this…
Q: Are you guys Satanists?
A: No.
Yet again, they treat the whole
thing as a joke. But it's not a
joke at all. Satan is getting
everyone prepared for his
worship, and these games are a
great way for him to do that.
The games can be fun, but in
order to play the game you
must look at these symbols. And
as people look at them more,
they consider them usual, and it
won't be long before they get
interested in occult activities.
As with Doom, there is a screen
that appears when you exit the
shareware version of Quake
that shows you how to order
the registered version of the
game. It is nothing more than
another piece of blasphemy
created by Id.
" ...Yes! You only have one
fourth of this incredible
epic. That is because most
of you have paid us
nothing or at most, very
little. You could steal the
game from a friend. But we
both know you'll be
punished by God if you do.

Hexen, also by Id, one of the
cheat codes (hidden codes that
can be typed in to cheat or
change certain playing
conditions in the game) is
"Satan". If typed in, the "God
mode" will be activated, making
the player invincible to all
obstacles. Makes you think of
Isaiah 14:14, doesn't it?
Hexen 2, the sequel to Hexen,
although I've never played it, I
know that the cover of the box
has a demon like creature
wrapped in some sort of a
snake like thing, with both of
the demon's hands in the
satanic salute.
In the controversial Duke Nukem
3d, created by 3D Realms, the
third level in the first episode is
called "Death Row". In an area
near the beginning of the level
(The level is a prison facility)
there is a chaplain, where inside,
there is a cross on the wall. Click

Duke Nukem, the game's morally
decayed hero, touches a gray
portrait in front of the cross, it
will invert Click here to see a
sample screen. I found it
interesting after I played this
game, some parent and family
groups were complaining to the
company about the violence
and sexual content in the game,
yet it seemed nobody really
brought up the inverted cross
issue right into the open. The
desensitization works!
In Warcraft 2, by Blizzard
Entertainment, one of the
buildings, the altar of storms,
has a pentagram on it. Click here
to see a sample screen. In Diablo,
another game made by Blizzard,
pentagrams can be found rather
easily in the menus of the game.
The whole "God mode" agenda
In some games, there is an
"invincibility mode", which
makes the player invulnerable to
enemy attacks, so the player will
not die. However in recent
years, it seems the industry is
changing the term "Invincibility
mode" to "God mode". I think
that this is another way Satan
wants people to think that they
are gods, when they are really
not (Genesis 3:5). But there is
only one God (Mark 12:32).
Nowadays, more people are
worshipping their friends or
their favorite music stars, and
are calling themselves gods and
goddesses. It won't be long
before they all turn their
attention on the Antichrist, and
later, gnash and wail their teeth
(Matthew 13:42) in the lake of
fire (Revelations 20:15).
This article is only scratching the
surface. Each year more and
more games come out, and
satanic influences in computer
games are gradually becoming
more and more visible. But it
won't be long before Satan loses
the battle.
