first you have to replace the catalyst,change complete fuel pump with filter in tank,service airflow meter,service the nozzles or replace,change plugs,check the ignation coils to see if any is faulty,I was suffering from similar problems until my mechanic recommended a complete overhaul of the fuel and air system,now I can drive from okigwe to enugu (100 km)with #1500 fuel and it will still remain,the car is even v6 honda and AC all the way.

How much did this overhaul cost?

I just got a used Honda accord 2004 and noticed that it has an outrageous fuel consumption. Please help!
I noticed the rear catalytic converter has been removed . Both O2 sensors are working! Thermostat has been removed.
What do I do?
