my sister instead of registering for Usman Danfodio university ' jeje,'she went and choose university of Ilorin. the problem with her option(ilorin ) is that she is using awaiting result, due to having F in physics( which I doubt it will be accepted). though she passed other subjects.

now. she was giving flimsy excuse and stupid explanation her action when she got home, saying she choose ilorin as Danfodiyio's portal for (pharmacy and food tech) . but the problem is that to get admition in unilorin is like trying to force a camel through needle eye. Guys what do you think

guys I tried to top my 2 gig Airtel sub before it expires , and to my surprise , I was told am not eligible for the sub.

can someone please explain, has it been cancelled?


as it stands, 1000 glo sub of 3gig can only last 4-5 days on my phone, cos am a heavy data user. and that's why I am managing the 2 gig for 10 days on Airtel.

Two weeks ago I was not only jobless, was bored, broke nd frustrated. Dats nt d topic 4 2day even though everytym i read post abt ppl celebrating there employment av bin looking up to d day it will b my turn buh nw dats it's finally don't kno y am so calm abt it. If u still unemployed don't give up hang on to hope nd b so prayerfull.. Nw to d mainn purpose of dis post, my company has transfer mee to kaduna (it's was by plane nd my first tym @ dat) fully sponsored. Bro this is not an every job. more so Nigerian environment settings those not support \ or worth risking life for.

the truth of the matter is that majority of media organisation here in Nigeria don't pay their staff even a transport fee to cover assignment, ( journalists do that at their own expenses) , talk less of monthly allowance.

sister , this isn't a marketing or any means of selling point, I'm stock in shit, that's why I cried out...

I even wrote a story without his consent, which I think was published yesterday , he got griped by annoyance, and has summoned me to appear in office before 9: am today.

recently , I got a job to freelance with one media organization after my service . so the organization sent me to join one of it senior correspond who happens to be in control of the paper from the north.


The agreement I had with the media organization was to be freelancing for the paper without without been on their payroll, and I accepted the offer without giving it a second taught. who knows where his/her luck could shine.

happily I left Lagos based on the directives i received to commence work with him, but on getting there I realized that he is not happy with me joining him, looking as if my coming to join him was a threat or rivalry.

he hated me to the extent of monitoring my life , pursuing me with phone calls just to ensure that I play by his rules. He went to the extent of telling not to report any story direct to the paper for publication without his consent, as if that was not enough, he in even instructed me to always tell him before hand, when there is an assignment I wished to attend - so that if its a juicy one he would hijack from me.

to list few of problems i encountered, honestly have been going through a lot of pressure due to the nature of the job, coupled with his bossy attitude, a times he sends me out to cover an assignment in a long distance (which could cost me up to 2000 from my own savings) purposely for him, without giving me a transport fee or recharge card token. I sacrifice a lot sometimes to see I complete any work he personally instructed me to do for him.

I also observed that he uses some sort of delay tactics on me, just to while away my time , so that I could not be able to cover reasonable stories which when reported could be a plus for me. for instance, he only calls or direct me up and down to do him favor when I have unavoidably gathered reasonable stories that are perfect for the day ,(may a Breaking News!! he feels that he alone is in the right position to break, or prominent stories of BUHARI, Osinbajo coming to commission a building, etc) , knowing fully well that in news report , we value time , and there is possibility of not using stories that are sent in late hours.

meanwhile I had that those who worked with already before me, never enjoyed their partnership with him from morning till night, that he frustrated them until they quit.


for now, what baffles me most is that I'm getting broke already, and all the savings I had during my service time , coupled with what my people gave me before coming work has already finished.

It was even from that little savings from home and that which I got from service that used in renting an apartment, feed my self, transport from one place to another , and for other expenses.

when I contacted some of my colleagues for advise, some gave me many sort of advice that I should not put all my eggs in one basket. some advised me to search for adverts , write for other media platforms by using a pen name and lot more advices ...

it got to an extent that I was advised to create a blogging platform to adequately cater for my needz...


PLEASE Guys, ur advice and assistance is valuable, what should I do to survive this wahala?
