LordAdam16:
i always find that argument puzzling
like if you have ever managed a business, you will not make that argument

take the average shop in nigeria dealing with energy issues, multiple taxations, and sh*t
maybe there is no gasoline because of scarcity
local government tax collectors locked your shop
unsatisfied customer called the police for you
logistics called you to inform you that your goods were in a truck that was in an accident or something

then someone will wake up and say you don't have to act
Look at dangote, he had to come out himself to battle oil cabals that doesn't want Nigeria progress, cabals that doesn't want our local refineries to work, who just want to be shipping oil everyday. The man had to fight for everything he is built not to crumble, and he is fighting hard. I have never seen dangote so bullish.

Why are we even talking about retaliation when the ship is not Russian ship, the fact that they decided to hoist Russia flag still doesn't make it Russian

there is no sensitive cargo onboard
the kremlin simply does not understand why xi is slacking
and the kremlin cannot allow the precedence of the us seizing a russian-flagged ship
forget about retaliation
the seizure itself cannot happen

i sha said yesterday morning that the axis will respond to jan 3
iran has responded by changing its military doctrine to include pre-emptive strikes
russia has dispatched its navy to permit ships to beat the us blockade on venezuela
na xi we dey wait for
as usual, na im go b last
after xi, dey better reactivate deng's term limit provision
when you do your 5-10 years, go back home

If only Russia VDV unit has 150 aircraft and enough Intelligence and technology in the battle of Hostomel. Kyiv would have been hosting Russian flag by now, the Ukraine war long settled
So what will Russia do with kyev after they host their flags, are their rear earth, oil, or Russian natives in kyev. Or maybe Russia will kidnap Zelensky and put medved their, what will be the objective. Russia (Putin) objectives in Ukraine is different from US (Trump) reasons for kidnapping Maduro. Get that

Brother, the world has been divided into three spheres of influence.
The Russians can do whatever the fvkk they want in their region, which includes fighting NATO countries that border them. Likewise, the U.S. can do the same in the western hemisphere, and China in East Asia.

The only difference is that countries surrounding Russia and China are actually capable of putting up a fight, unlike those that border the U.S., who have been indoctrinated to not do things that'll threaten U.S. interests, or they'll be sanctioned to death or invaded.

This is the sad reality of how the world is right now. The strong rule over the weak.

My only problem with people on this platform is those who overrate China’s military capabilities. Of the three powers, China is the newbie and the timid one, which in turn makes them the weakest.
I like your perspective, really make sense

It’s too early to judge. Maduro government is still in power, in the early days of the Ukraine War Russia was taking cities within weeks, Ukrainian army was transporting supplies with bikes and old trucks until NATO got involved with money, weapons, mercenaries and thousands of “instructors “.

Let’s give them time and I hope Venezuelans demand explanation from the new government. We need to know the collaborators in the government, with only assault rifles the security services can prevent choppers from landing in the government house. The betrayal is deep and everyone including the current president could be involved, so Russia and China needs time to navigate and detect the land mines in Venezuela.
The Ukrain war is taking too long & taking a toll on Russia, the hegemony are taking advantage of it. The walls are closing in on Russia as all their allies are being wiped out.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Alamkiir: 8:22am On Jan 04
I will really like to know one use of having Russia & China as an ally? They never come true for anybody, even that group of theirs that called themselves BRICS is useless, with the highest population, gdp. They can't sanction or put a voice together for one of their own nor can they fight the dollar, what is their use actually?

I have been hearing it but I didn't believe it, I just read that China actually get 70% of their oil from Venezuela, and they just let it go. don’t want to hear anyone hype China as a superpower anymore. If it really were, by now it would be in Taiwan, kidnapping its president and announcing: We run taiwan now! Instead? A lot of noise, zero action. Weak as hell.

Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, South Africa and Africa in general should never ever put reliance on these cowards.

LordAdam16, Appleyard, Alamkiir please explain.
You posted it In December now, when the STC launched a surprise military offensive and quickly took control of large parts of Hadramout, a huge, oil rich province in eastern Yemen that borders Saudi Arabia. Including cities like Seiyun, oil fields, and the coastal port of Mukalla.

The Houthis (backed by Iran) control the north, including the capital Sana'a.
The recognized government (backed by Saudi Arabia) is based in the south, but it's weak and shares power with other groups.

One of the group they shared power with in the south is the Southern Transitional Council (STC), a separatist militia backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The STC wants the south to break away from the north and become independent again like it was before

Saudi Arabia saw this as a threat to its security (because of the shared border and cultural ties), and demanded the STC withdraw immediately.

The STC initially refused a full pullout
