Ekiti re-run: President Yar’Adua prays against AC - As PDP leadership endorses Oni, What a Country!

FOR about five minutes, President Umaru Yar’Adua on Saturday raised up the hand of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the Ekiti State governorship re-run election, Mr. Segun Oni.

While praying for Oni, he also invoked God’s power against AC, that the main opposition party in the state, will not take over the reins of governance in the state,
The ceremony was witnessed by several national and state leaders of the party as well as many of its governors, among whom were the National Chairman, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor, Vice President Goodluck Jonathan,
Others included Governors Adebayo Alao-Akala (Oyo), Gbenga Daniel (Ogun), Bukola Saraki (Kwara), Olagunsoye Oyinlola (Osun), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), the deputy governor of Kogi State , Dr. Phillips Salawu, Senators Iyiola Omisore and Isiaka Adeleke, among several others.

I would not regard it as a waste, I believe it gives the opportunity to learn about other people. It's like a means of training young mind that the world does not evolve round just you,making them see the need to serve and create impart in others which i believe that's why You and I are Created.
