God save us from this pit that is dug before Nigeria
NDC! Conduct DIRECT PRIMARIES! I repeat, CONDUCT DIRECT PRIMARIES!
There's something allegedly hidden in the revised law that may disqualify candidates gotten from indirect primaries/primaries that don't meet up to a certain number of submitted registered voters.
Majorly, just follow the steps of APC prior to the main election but be cautious also |
Politics › Re: Fubara Withdraws From APC Governorship Primary by Alarmist: 11:39pm On May 20 |
Saladdin: His political career is completely finished. Na true SIMP this man be. This is what indecision cost him. He had to two options: fight to the finish or quietly do your "yes sir, yes sir" and complete your eight years. Political fights are all or nothing, you don't do half-measure.
Duncan Mighty's music career too is gone. He should forget any singing gig from the state government again. Doing useless praise singing for a weak man. You see how Wike pampers his praise singers, they most likely even followed him to Abuja singing Nye demba, Nye demba for him.
If you wanted to fight your godfather (which was a bad decision anyway), you ought to have gone for the jugular, but you went halfway and backtracked. A very foolish move!
That was weakness and Wike smelt it. Dem no dey us clear eyes fight for village square. Wike is a very formidable and powerful politician & godfather with a well-oiled machinery that can easily bring down this governor. He knows where and how to pull the strings. When Fubara knows he can't fight, he ought to have piped low, because those elders who crafted the quote that when you dine with the devil, you use a long spoon. They came to that painful realization after lots of hard knocks.
On the other hand, you Fubara had one of the largest and deepest war chest in Nigeria. For God's sake, only Lagos, Delta and maybe Kano comes close to what this man has when it comes to state fund. This singular reason plus Wike's ruthlessness gained the president's respect. Tinubu himself respects a ruthless person who is not afraid of showing it at any time.
You could have used that to compensate for your weaknesses and let money FLOW to the right places, surgically dismantle the machinery as swiftly as possible. And had he fought bravely, he clearly had the people's support and wherever he goes most Riverians will follow.
Create a state security apparatus, let the commanders be loyal to you and when election comes, release one long press statement on how those state-security officials need to be present in every polling unit. Then you buy permissible arms, tasers and handcuffs for them. FUND them well, cover every inch of the state that day, switch off your phone while the security outfit do their job. Then give a prior public announcement and firm instruction that whoever engages in malpractice would be arrested, locked up and tried. Then you clearly demonstrate it with the LG election. LOCK THEM UP and follow it up with a speedy court trial. The rest will be very scared to engage in any malpractice.
Follow this up by lobbying to get officials from two or three major countries to specifically come to Rivers to monitor the election! While at this, ensure you pay for sufficient media time in international broadcasting stations let it be aired, and make sure all your ex-Oga's shady files are with you, and have CC'ed the right quarters with copies of it.
While you do this, move to another party, fund it, sponsor candidates and make a public example of few people who fall out of line, then you would see as others will fall in line.
Then even if Wike won, with a big IF, it would have be a pyrrhic victory for him. But as it is now, the Emperor of Rivers has won and he will so deal with you on all fronts. Be grateful if you don't do jail time! The House of Assembly would've impeached him |

Education › Re: OFFICIAL: JAMB 2026 Cutoff Marks Announced by Alarmist: 11:10am On May 12 |
There's a decline in the educational system.
A lot of things are going wrong from the family system (parents not being involved in a Child's academic growth), to School system(let-my-people-go syndrome), to even Jamb itself (2025 proved it). But there are geniuses abandoned, the next Steve Jobs depressed, the next Chimamanda misdirected.
It shouldn't be being fast to 'cut off' but being fast to address this situations and save the next generation.
It Starts With The Family and Support Systems. |

richiemcgold: Chase? 🤥 As how now?
Their son contested and was defeated in a democratic election. The election was organized by his government, not the opposition. He even called the winner and congratulated him. Did Jonathan ever tell you he was chased? Reverse psychology. The fact is that, people can't be deceived by twisted history. They witnessed what happened. |

Bahamas95: Which youths? The ones being paid stipends every month to defend their slave masters online/offline? There are still some that are willing. It's who will front them. The way these grandpas have held on to power from their youth, they won't give it up on a platter of Gold o, or to even competent persons. If the youth engage them actively, with this tech age, any incompetent youth can be sieved out. But first, the youths must step out before stepping up. Politics › Re: No Decision On Labour Party, PDP Disagreements - INEC by Alarmist: 4:35am On May 09, 2025 |
INEC will continue studying the SC judgement till mid 2026, then say Abure is the Chairman. The Senate will then pass an electoral law that prohibits Electoral Aspirants from decamping to another party by stating that an "Aspirant must have spent a year/2 years in a party before vying for any position", thereby making Obi and Atiku stuck in their parties. Both not likely to be fielded or the parties not being eligible for election(Zamfara way).
Why do you think people are decamping this early? They've seen a storm ahead. |
