Too many helpful tips but i have not seen the any suggestion on controlling one's thoughts. All our actions stems from our thoughts and hence it is safe to say that our thoughts makes us do what we do. If anyone is still in this affliction, yes i call it so, please control your thoughts. I understand that it'll not be easy the first time but once you've done it a number of times, you can actually perfect it overtime. There is such a thing as "sexual energies". Classics like "Think and Grow Rich", a book written by Napoleon Hill would give you more details about this. If you misuse your sexual energy which you can be creatively transmuted into other areas, you are wasting meaningful energy. It is truly a counter-productivity habit. It makes you lack concentration and worst of all, you makes you irresolute. You'll lack that inner personal power when you engage in this habit. I am saying this because i have once been there. Masturbation is never a healthy habit.

Please, CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS even if it means violently countering lustful thoughts with WORDS when they come into your mind. It is not easy at first, but in at least one month's time, it would be automatic for you. For me, i find it easy to concentrate my attention on a task, i find it easy to resist temptations these days than i could before. It have greatly made me to wield greater control on my actions and choice
PS: For those of you saying you can be productive while engaging in this act, you are simply not being honest! Masturbation sucks up your inner energy reserves, it saps off your personal power. Watch people who masturbate, they often lack willpower and as a result, they become shy.

Don't let anyone lie to you. YOU CAN STOP THE HABIT. JUST CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS AND YOUR RATE OF EXPOSURE TO MATERIALS THAT LURE YOU TO THIS ILLICIT ACT.
