An important detail that needs an answer is whether the seller informed buyer of change of plans (and offered refund) before buyer paid his last instalment?

I think we should look at the new details op has brought to fore before judging him wrong again.
Missowombo you should add these new comments to the opening post, so people stop misjudging you totally. Not everyone has the interest in reading deep into this thread to see the places you wrote them.

Missowombo:

Thanks Man. The total duration of all these is 5days, from the payment of the first installment to the refund of his money. The delay with refunding his money stemmed from his refusal to release his account number to me. I have had previous transactions with him not related to the current issue, so I got his account number from there and refunded.

Missowombo:

Thanks. The man is a chieftain, an influential person in this town, he has many police officers and area boys under his care. Infact, one of his sons is a soldier. Involving Nigerian police here seems dicey.

Page 3
Missowombo:

Thanks a great deal. I was not even expecting his last installment so fast as that was the same day I had a change of mind. The total duration of as transactions is 5 days

Missowombo:

Thanks so much. I never spent his money. I have apologized and pleaded with him. I was surprised that he went ahead to jack up my car.

Nazgul:
As a professor of law who as been in practice for decades, and a SAN, she can't tell me that she relies solely on her salary for survival.

For starters she should have her own Chambers, with young lawyers working there. She's should use her position as a Prof to get closer to politicians so her Chambers can be contracted to represent them.

I still find it very difficult to believe that a woman of her status depends totally on her salary.

Every lawyer of her status doesn't need to get close to politicians to live well off. Take serious NOTE of this.

The Legal Practitioners' Privileges Committee confers the rank of SAN on two categories of lawyers; the academic (these are university professors who may not be practising) and the advocate categories.

She became a SAN through the academic route.

Her complaints are about the hardship in the land and the wretched salary professors get in Nigeria.

The executive secretary of TETFUND, Sunday Echono always says he is ashamed of himself when at international conferences, he is queried whether it is true Nigerian professors earn <$1000/month (this professor's salary ~$350).

There is this highly reputable mechanic on Twitter, his handle is @wanjohn1.
You should contact him. He will help you resolve a lot of issues that trouble other mechanics like your fusebox.

Oga keep quiet and be used to the system. Martins isn't any hero in the story. He will eventually lose his job for trying to be "partriotic" while those corrupt officials fighting him will continue to feed fat and their children enjoy the good things of life.

People who are good in Nigeria end up being used, defamed and debased while criminals are empowered, emboldened and given the spotlight in all spheres and sectors of Nigeria.

2015, 2019 and 2023 never open your eyes??
That is why we have to change the system to see that in Nigeria, good people are empowered, emboldened and given the spotlight in all spheres and sectors. And criminals are used, defamed and debased.

We can't give up on our country yahoodetector.

allthingsgood I must praise you for taking HenryWilliams to the cleaners, that the patriotic Nigerian worker is right inspite of our very corrupt institutions. And that overlooking corruption is not being smart, we must fight it.

I was at the audition and I interviewed most of the participants that passed to stage 2 of the audition to find out what really Next Titan want. None of the stage 2 businesses was a game-changing idea.

And I watched all the episodes of the show in 2022.
