Yea, but it's not a terror attack when Islamist terrorists attack Israel, kill babies and kidnap the young and old. It wasn't a terror attack when Hezbollah decided to join forces with Hamas and send missiles into Israel...

Small pikin go slap adult, nobody go talk, when adult slap am back, everywhere go burst.

Everywhere in the world, it's Islamist terrorists causing unrest and killing people... Boko Haram, Al Shabab, ISWAP, Al Qaeda, all are muslims... Causing unrest all over the world!

Is it that some one you have low IQ or what?

Israel is carrying out terror attacks just like Hamas and Hezbollah. Is this so difficult to understand?

I hope that, for security reasons, these devices installed are properly checked.

Since when pagers and walkie talkies began exploding, every country needs to check any imported electronics very well.

Ego will not let you admit that you goofed when you asked if there was oil in Scotland. I'm not ready to extend the scope of this conversation with you. I simply corrected you and I expected you to accept the correction simply and not trying to create an impression of an "intellectual".

are you kidding. something that is no longer economically viable.

i would love to get information on where that refinery sources its crude from. the major reason for diversifying was that it could no longer compete with other bigger players in other continents.

its not a climate change issues as one commenter above was insinuating.

You asked if Scotland has crude. And I answered you. I don't understand where these plenty talk is coming from. Your question was not on "economic viability".

Amayabor1:

Read your comment again. The Constitution gives the police overall power on internal security. Is the issue of internal security what we are discussing now?

Many States have their own security outfit that compliment the police. There is Hisbah in Kano, there is ametokun in the South west states and so on. What makes that of Edo state different?

Let me repeat; The IGP doesn't have the power to disband the security outfit of a state.

For your information, the Edo state security outfit is a creation of a law passed by the Edo state house of assembly. Only a court of competent jurisdiction can disband the security outfit.

I don't know if this is ignorance or what.

Thanks.

South Africans "motherfu.ckers never loved us" these are the same people we sacrifice alot for Against Apartheid. Nigeria refused to sell oil to South Africa in protest against the white minority rule. Nigeria lost approximately $41 billion then. $41billion dollars! Remember this was our oil boom moment. As long as we fought apartheid, the money meant nothing. Now this is how they intend to pay us back.

I'm not sure Nigeria lost that kind of money. South Africa may have bought from middlemen, who in turn, bought from Nigeria.

But I get your point, though.

Dude, it's not about Dangote. Dangote will be fine without the refinery, we will not.

How so? Did Dangote promise that PMS price will be reduced when he starts producing PMS? Heck, did he promise that he will even sell to Nigerians directly?

In case, you didn't know, we are playing into the hands of the Northern oligarchs and giving them the reins to control the country's economy for the next 50 years. Dangote is a front. Which can be easily weaponized.

It's never in our collective interests, my friend.

If you think Dangote is doing all these in your interests then, you need to think again.

As a business man, he should compete, not looking for government advantage.

emkz:
Dele Momodu's demand is that President Tinubu kicks out deadwood imported from Lagos and merge some ministries to curb waste.

President Tinubu, I do think it is time for some ministers to go. Many of them cannot even tell us what their plans are; they keep talking about promises as if we are in campaign season. Last year, I advised each of them to get subject matter experts, brainstorm for three months, synergize their ideas in line with the party manifesto and come up with a 4-year development plan and start implementing it.

The ministers act on presidential directions and support. It's not an elective position.
