BVL and PPR - August 25th

No I haven’t raised a webform, I heard it delays the processing time. I’m going to Alberta

Minors supported by parents are favourably viewed by IRCC with a higher probability of approval. I believe your birthday certificate as well as letter of support from your father was part of the documentation. All the best and goodluck.

Yes. It will say - "we do not need your medical yet until your file is processed". You get a medical request if you meet eligibility requirements after the review. You can proactively do your medical upfront and submit though. As a minor, the final outcome ultimately depends on the quality of the documentation summitec including the relationship between you and the sponsor. All the best

Oh, why is that?

Good afternoon all, I have a few questions about my application
1. My sponsor’s closing balance is 50.2m and the total cost of my first year in Canada will be 55m, I also added 4 of my sponsor’s engineering award contracts that total up to 920m with 40-50% advance payments in the beginning of all of the contracts and a land document worth 82m. Will these supporting documents be enough?
2. I submitted my application April 15th, biometrics done April 16th. I’m a minor and I haven’t received any medical update yet. Does that mean ircc has waived off the medicals because it says “we don’t need your medicals yet”.
3. In my sponsor’s bank statement, he had inflows of over 100m and an opening balance of 8m, will that be an issue?

Will my WAEC certificate be enough or should I get my high school transcript. I only have the unofficial version of my high school transcript.

I would have advised you to pursue US admission with funding options. Well for your SOP you will need to show the VO how the course will help your career in your home country, how it will elevate you and give you the needed skills to excel back home. The main issue you have to tackle will be your home ties since all your family members are over there, that being said you can use your good travel history and parents as ties and the fact that you will have good job prospects back home. Then leverage on the experience of your siblings they have more experience than us since they have gone through the process.

I am a 17 year old that graduated from secondary school at July 1st 2023 (I had to wait 2 years at home because I wasn’t mature enough) and I applied for the Software Development program at SAIT at February 28th 2025 and got my LOA on the same day. I got my PAL at March 17th 2025. How can I write my LOE and SOP in such a way that will convince the visa officer that my study plan is good and I’ll come back after my studies. All my siblings have gone through this process and they all stay in Canada, I also have a US B1/B2 visa and a Schengen visa. I always came back on time, will my travel history be enough to convince the visa officer.
