Cus am planning of Organising Uniben first ever MUsic Industry Night.. i know its gona be hard cus i heard uniben is now anti-social school and no party/show exceed 8pmYes, you can actually hold it... All you need do is to seek the permission of the SUG, but won't be possible at night,anything beyond 8pm, else you are taking it outside, but there 'll be low turn out of students...... But nevertheless, still hold your plans, till then, we 'll finalize the issue. |

benromeo39: abi I don joke ni, I got this far coz of girls, all the first positions wey I don get na coz of girl, I was the best common entrance student in the entire edo state during my set coz of girls, the higher ur grades, d more ladies flock around and vice versa.Woww!! Thats paradoxically remarkable...... @bolded; they mostly flock around 'cos they want to learn from you, they want you to teach them, not primarily for other motives...tho can develop on the course, but not without your consent. |

@Neldrizzy and Suley316.... The normal hall 1, 2, 3 and 4 goes for 8k. You can't actually apply in hall 5 'cos you are not a final year student, and not even all final year students are guaranteed the place, it is based on connection. So, how you can get there is if you happen to see any one who is interested in selling his space, and the price vary from 30k to 60, depending on the seller (my friend got a place there for 35k).............. Then Keystone is a private hostel, and it is based on connection also, 'cos it is usually rushed by students (nor be only u like beta tin na), the price ranges from 50-70k, (I don't really know the exact price, but its within that range)........ On the issue of proximity (nearness) to your faculties; it is actually near, when compared to off campuses.. They are closer to college of medicine, faculty of Agric, law, then pharmacy (old block), social science, before physical and life sciences then engineering is the most far....... Ok, as a geographer, I will say these halls are located south east of maingate, at a bearing of about or between 100degrees to 130degrees (not too accurate 'cos I didn't measure...that is reconnaisance survey), along longitude bla bla bla....east and latitude bla bla....north......hmmm. (I jus dey foool myself) |

UNIBEN HALLS OF RESIDENCE.......... Hall 3 is just the craziest hostel, if you could remember those guys that were molesting you guys with words during post ume, at the entrance to june 12; those guys are the crazy hall 3 boys, in this hall, they are not afraid of potters, they use hot plate freely... Hall 4 is popularly known as the hall of beans, due to the perceived aroma that is always circulating around the vicinity (hmm, thats not too true tho, but its speculated that those guys cooks beans alot..lol) Guys in this hall are cool, unlike the hall 3 boys. Hall 3 and 4 are for boys, while hall 1 and 2 for girls, then hall 5 is supposed to be for final year students, but any one from any level can actually buy a space there... Hall 5 is for both boys and girls, but different buildings for boys n girls. We also have keystone hostel, built by keystone bank, and students can rent it... There are other places in staff quarters, near USS primary school were students can also rent etc et al.. There are normally supposed to be 8 students in a room, but some rooms have up to 16 persons..ask my cousemate............................... 1 Like |

See how am skipping pages (na who una leav all doz pages 4 mak e dey read? When I neva read ma textbooks 4 dis semester finish... Chai, see what resumption has caused). Ok, honestly, it feels good to be "admitted", especially when the admission is nascent. Trust me, the ecstassy gradually fades away, but not completely... 'cos when you come in now, after a few months; your excitement cools, as your attention is shifted to more pressing things on campus, rather than the consciousness of the feeling of getting admitted (I hope am making sense really, hmm). Alright, I'll try and write about some faculties in UNIBEN, some major joints and places within the school, and ofcourse, also some major off campuses, and other things worthy of note subsequently... Just what I know about them, ofwhich is drawn from what "some" people also know about them..... I hope its WELCOMED? ? ? 2 Likes |
