The prophet (SAW) cursed 3 people:
1.The one who doesnt send prayers to him when his name is mentioned.
2.The one who doesnt take care n respect his parents who are in old age.
3.The one who doesnt make use of ramadan and earn Allah's forgiveness.
Lets not be among such people.

, for you. The pens have been set aside and writings of the Book of Fate
have become dry.” [Tirmidhi]

Rasool Allah S.A.W.W said, Every religion has an innate character. The character of Islam is modesty.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "You will not enter paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to something which if you carry out you will love one another? Spread salaam amongst yourselves." [Muslim]

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said while talking about the merits of Friday, "There is a time on Friday at which a Muslim, while he (or she) is performing Salat and is supplicating, will be granted whatever he (or she) is supplicating for.'' And he (PBUH) pointed w, ith his hand to , indicate that this period of time is very short.

Prophet said: “Two kinds of eyes are the eyes that the Fire will not touch: the eyes of one who cried from fear before Allah, and the eyes of one who spent a night standing guard on the way of Allah.” (At-Tirmizi)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked: "Can a believer be a coward?" The Prophet said: "Yes." He was then asked: "Can a believer be a miser?" He replied: "Yes." And finally,he was asked: 'Can a believer be a liar?" The Prophet said: "No." -

it obligatory to adopt a benevolent attitude towards everything.If you
have to kill any animal,kill it in a kindest way.When you have to
slaughter an animal,you must make it less painful for the animal you
, slaughter.Everone of you must get his , knife sharpened to reduce the suffering of the animal to be slaughtered."(Muslim

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger(peace be upon him) said, “He to whom it pleases that Allah should answer him during severity and difficulty must make supplication during ease (and blessing).”

Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Some people of those who professed unity of God will be punished in Hell till they become like coal. Then Mercy will pursue them and they will be taken out and brought to the gates of Paradise.The inhabitants of Paradise will sprinkle water on them and they will b, egin to grow as a seed which grows at the edge of flowing water. Then they will enter Paradise.”[Ahmed 15200]

Volume 1, Book 2, Number 12(saheeh Bukhari):Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself."

Abu Hurayrah (ra) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (saws) said, ‘There has come to you Ramadaan, a blessed month. Allaah has made it obligatory on you to fast (this month). During it the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are locked, and the devils are chained up. In it there is a night that is better tha, n a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is deprived indeed.’” ♥

Sahl bin Sa`d (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whosoever gives me a guarantee to safeguard what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I shall guarantee him Jannah.''
[Al-Bukhari].

Commentary: What is between the jaws and what is between the legs refers to the tongue and the sexu, al organs, respectively. The Prophet (PBUH) has given the assurance of Jannah to every Muslim who protects these two parts of the body. Protection here means their use permitted by the Islamic Shari`ah. They should be guarded against every act that is prohibited by the Shari`ah

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise; a person remains truthful until he is written as a Siddeeq (truthful person) with Allah. Lying leads to sin and sin leads to the Fire; a person keeps lying until he is written as a Kadhdhab (liar) with Allah.” [Bukhari, Muslim]

Rasool Allah S.A.W.W said, “Do not wish to be like anyone, except in two cases:
(1) A man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously.
(2) A man whom Allah has given wisdom (knowledge of the Qur’an and the Hadith) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others

Abu Huraira reported that the prophet (SAW) Said:There are two words light on the tongue,heavy on the scale and beloved to the most Gracious:
Subhaan Allahi wa bihamdihi and Subhaan Allahil-'Adheem.

Volume 9, Book 93, Number 485: Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said to the Prophet "O Allah's Apostle! Teach me an invocation with which I may invoke Allah in my prayers." The Prophet said, "Say: O Allah! I have wronged my soul very much (oppressed myself), and none forgives the sins but You; so please , bestow Your Forgiveness upon me. No doubt, You are the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, “Whoever establishes the prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not to show off) then all his past sins will be forgiven.”(Volume No:1, Book:Belief, Hadith No: 34) Sahih Bukhari

We are not running away, and Y will we run away?.
The reason Y there is less response frm Muslims on this section is simply because most of the non Muslim posters are ignorant/arrogant and r not ready to have meaningful debate/forum but instead they derail the fact of the thread and post meaningless statement dat has noting to do with the thread.
And most importantly they Ignorantly and arrogantly use abusive/insulting words for Islam, Its prophet and Allah(the most Supreme God) which is forbidden by Allah (The greatest)

Allah(The Almighty) says in the holy Koran that we should not argue or insult whatever they worship least they Insult Allah ignorantly/arrogantly.(i actually cant remember d chapter/verse).So that the Sin/sins will not be upon us cos every thing done/said in life either seriously or joking will be accounted of on d judgment so we nid to be careful of wat we say and who we talk to.

If u really want to do DA'WAH u can do dat offline with people that u think are more reasonable and not arrogant.

All what we are seeing, experiencing,encountering and enjoying in this world is a test from Almighty to weather we are a real and true believer.The creation of Adam (pbuh) is a test for the angels to know their obedience to Allah which lead to the astrayment of Ashytan.
whatever befall/befalling on us either we like it or not we should not let it result to frustration,transgression and dishonest to Allah.it is mainly to test our faith,uprightness and patience and pietness. Allah has tested those before us so that He knows those that are sincere from those that are not.
let's take prophet Ayuub (pbuh) as an example Allah tested him with many tight and hardship such as hunger,sickness,inferno and poverty but indeed he stand on his faith,he became stronger and steadfast in Allah and later Allah removed all his hardship and calamity and he become better than he was before.

Solid Rock Church's King of Kings monument struck by lightning.

MONROE — Charred remnants remained this morning, June 15, of the large Jesus statue iconic to Interstate 75 that was destroyed following an apparent lightning strike during a thunderstorm late Monday night.

The Lawrence Bishop Music Theater at Solid Rock Church on Union Road endured smoke damage, according to officials. Damages to the King of Kings statue and the theater were estimated to be around $700,000, said Monroe Fire Chief Mark Neu.
No one was injured in the blaze.

The smell of smoke surrounded the area of the statue’s charred frame, and the pond in front of it appeared murky, witnesses said.

Keith Lewis of Middletown showed up at the church just after 7 a.m. with a camera in hand to take some shots of the remains. His wife, Stephanie, sent him.
“It has been a landmark in this area for a long time,” Lewis said. “She said she wanted picture of what was left.”
A guitarist, Lewis said he has learned to play comedian Heywood Banks’ song about the statue, “Big Butter Jesus,” and has also had his picture taking in front with his hands in the air.

Was the statue an oddity or inspiration to Lewis?

“Really a little of both,” he said, noting he doesn’t believe the nicknames were meant with any disrespect. “Kind of do hope they rebuild it.”

Neu has called a news conference for 10 a.m. today at the church. He and Police Lt. Brian Curlis said officials have been swamped with calls from media across the Tri-State this morning about the blaze.

Neu said indications are lightning struck the right hand of the statue. 911 calls received by Monroe and Warren County dispatchers confirm witnesses saw the hand on fire first.

“It was fully involved when our guys got there,” Neu said. Firefighters were dispatched at 11:16 p.m. and were on the scene at 11:22 p.m.

The church was not damaged, but audio equipment housed in the music theater was damaged, Neu said.

“They had a lot of expensive audio equipment that was lost,” he said.

Earlier this morning and late Monday night, motorists were stopped along the highway and along Union Road in Monroe to watch the 62-foot King of Kings statue burn. The fire was reported at 11:15 p.m. Monday, June 14. Within minutes, all that was left was the steel frame of the statue at the church.

Church member Cassie Browning, 27, of Dayton, said she was driving north on I-75 on her way back from Tennessee when she and her family saw smoke and noticed the statue missing. “It meant so much to so many people,” Browning said. “The statue can be destroyed and gone, but Jesus can’t be.”

The fire spread to the attic area of the church’s adjacent amphitheater. There were no injuries, said Neu, who spoke just before 2:30 a.m. to media at the scene. It was a “hot fire,” he said, which made it more difficult to battle, but it was extinguished within about an hour.

In the late evening and early morning hours, social media sites such as Facebook fueled interest and onlookers: the curious, the incredulous and still others who just wanted to poke a little fun at the situation.

“God struck God, I like the irony. Jesus struck Jesus,” said Dawn Smith, 25, of Hamilton, who was among those standing outside the vehicles along Union Road. “I had to see it. What else are you going to do on a Monday night?”
Since its completion in 2004, the statue, which appeared to come out of a pond in front of the nondenominational megachurch, was known by multiple nicknames, including “Touchdown Jesus” because the arms and hands were raised upward. It also was known as “Big Butter Jesus” after comedian Heywood Banks referred to it as such and created a song about the statue, which he performed on radio’s popular “The Bob and Tom Show.”

The statue was constructed of wood and styrofoam over a steel framework that was anchored in concrete and covered with a fiberglass mat and resin exterior, according to the church. It was slated to undergo renovations this summer.

Also gathered along Union Road were Franklin twins and storm chasers Levi and Seth Walsh, who said they were out in the thunderstorm when they heard about the fire through a Facebook update.

“It sent goosebumps through my whole body because I am a believer,” said Levi Walsh, 29. “Of all the things that could have been struck, I just think that that would be protected. , It’s something that’s not supposed to happen, Jesus burning,” he said. “I had to see it with my own eyes.”

“I can’t believe Jesus was struck,” said his brother, who noted the giant Hustler Hollywood sign for the adult store across the street was untouched. “It’s the last thing I expected to happen.”

Whether jostled by the incident, or ready to call out zingers, all agreed the statue is what makes that stretch of I-75 in front of the church special.

“It’s a landmark, so it’s going to make the drive different,” said Josh Bartram, 18, of Middletown.

Because the fire was sparked by lightning, Neu said there will be no further investigation.

Also lost in the fire was audio equipment stored in the attic that Neu said was to be used for a Fourth of July event at the church. No damage estimate will be available until 10 a.m. today, said Neu, who added that church leaders indicated to him they planned to replace and rebuild all that was lost in the fire.

Crews responded from Monroe, Middletown, Liberty Twp., Deerfield Twp. and Trenton, according to dispatchers.
