Romance / Ladies! 5 Reasons To Avoid Dating A Married Man-Romance by alin24: 10:32am On Mar 21, 2017 |
1.You’ll never be able to have a healthy relationship No matter how much you are in love, he’ll never be able to give that emotional and practical sense of well being that comes with a healthy relationship. There’ll always be issues. He had a fight with his wife, his wife is demanding too much money, and many many more. And sooner than you realize you will end up being the bean bag where he collapses to forget his issues – a recreation, an escape from his unhappy marriage. This may give you a sense of power/affection initially, but soon you’ll tire having to act like a constant caregiver of sorts. Also, what about your own emotional needs? Can you turn to a man for support who cannot resolve his own problems? 2.He will never leave his wife It’s been six months in the relationship and he still hasn’t left his wife. Months roll back into years and he still doesn’t seem to get rid of the “horrible woman” he is so tired of. Think. Think with your mind. He will give you compelling excuses and your heart will melt. But you’ll forever be the “other woman” in the relationship. No matter how much he likes to be in your company he’ll always choose his wife and family over you. 3.The lies and half truths will leave you drained Most women in such a relationship are shocked when they actually meet the wife. She doesn’t look as annoying or selfish as described by your lover. Fact is you are only getting a partial perspective of what actually transpires between the couple. Consider the countless lies he has to tell his wife to cover up his relationship with you. Now, every relationship has its ups and downs. It’s better to deal with it by being up front than cheating. Imagine how he might behave when your relationship with him hits a wall. 4Your self esteem goes for a toss An illicit affair such as this, is an exhausting thing. You cannot tell the world about it. You’ll have to keep the dates secret and often abrupt, depending on his availability. You can’t really live your life in a guilt-free, carefree manner. Chances are you will grow distant with your pals and relations because you can trust none with your secret. Yes, there are guilt pangs as well. Despite being in love, most women know in their hearts what they are doing isn’t quite right. Guilt, loneliness, confusion – so much burden affect your persona in the worst possible manner. Your self esteem plummets! 5.You are probably missing out on a real relationship The amount of time and energy you are investing in this dead-end relationship is just not worth it. Neither you will get a good life, nor will someone who you can’t marry and have children with. Most women who have been with a married man are filled with regrets at a later stage of their lives. They feel they have lost a lot of valuable time. And now it’s too late for them to find the right guy. All said and done, it’s your life, so take a careful decision. Before you take the leap, take stock. Time flies fast, and no one wants to be on the wrong side of it.

Politics / Fayose Backs Lg Autonomy, Pardons Dismissed Nulge Leader. by alin24: 9:27am On Mar 21, 2017 |
The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, on Monday, declared support for total autonomy of the local government. He urged his colleague governors to follow suit to bring development to the grassroots. Fayose also pardoned a local government staff and Deputy President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees in Ekiti State, Com. O.B. Olatunde, who was dismissed from service for alleged rudeness to the governor over salary crisis. Fayose said the state would commute to suspension, the outright dismissal slammed on the worker by a committee set up by the Head of service, Dr. Olugbenga Faseluka to try the local government staff for allegedly casting aspersion on the person of the governor during a meeting held to resolve some salary issues. The affected LG staff was alleged to have rudely addressed the governor when a directive was given on how certain money should be disbursed. Fayose gave the indication after meeting with the NULGE’s reconciliatory delegation led by its National President, Com Ibrahim. Khaleel in Ado Ekiti to appeal to the governor to rescind his pronouncement on the erring staff. Fayose, while briefing the delegation said: “There should be a government the people at the grassroots can refer to as their own. When you cede the LGs to the people, then nobody can blame a governor for the inefficiency at that level. “I want to appeal to my colleagues to embrace total autonomy to all the 774 LGs in this country”. On the punishment meted out to the Deputy President, Fayose said: “I have decided to shift ground on this matter, even after the recommendation of the committee because of the swift way Com. Khaleel handles this matter. Unionism is not always about confrontation, but about respect and reconciliation. “I want to commend the NULGE delegation for this show of solidarity and I want to tell you that rather than dismissal, the government will look for alternative punishment just to serve as punishment”. Khaleel, who described Fayose as the Voice of the voiceless, said: “I decided to honour Governor Fayose because I saw him as part of this fold. He is a comrade governor because he represents the voice of the voiceless in Nigeria. 1 Share

Romance / Marriage: Couples 7 Common Mistakes You Must Avoid At All Course by alin24: 10:19am On Mar 17, 2017 |
Below are seven marriage mistakes that are so common, and so deadly. Do you want to enjoy prolonged marital happiness and peace? Then you must do all in your power to ensure you do fall into the following marriage traps. Public fights Little quarrels and squabbles are quite normal, even expected to happen once in a while in every marriage; but for everyone’s sake, please keep your disagreements behind closed doors. 2.Technology ‘overuse' When most of your concentration shifts from your lover to your phone, the results can only be negative. Communication can fall by the wayside, your partner may feel neglected and neither of these things is good for your marriage. Sleeping in different beds This is a total no. Whether or not your spouse snores like a banshee, do not make the mistake of considering the option of sleeping in different beds. It will cause to lose intimacy with your partner. No matter of how tough the fight is, do not give in to the temptation of staying off the bed. Matter of fact, sleeping on the bed gives you a very good avenue to make up quickly, if you get what I mean. *Smiles 3 Never eating together If you have never eaten a meal with your spouse; or if you used to but not anymore, you should start it again. Couples should frequently find time to enjoy a meal together. It has the advantage of helping you develop communication and togetherness. 4 being too serious I think more men are guilty of this. Yeah, we get it- you have to pay bills and house rent and all others, but that does not mean you should look so serious and stuck up all the time. Please loosen up a bit. No, loosen up a lot. 5.Refusing to argue] Married life without arguments might seem perfect, but if you really have a rethink, it’s actually kind of creepy as it suggests that a certain lack of deeper communication, or pretence. Yes, your spiritual head warned on your wedding day that a man is the head of the family and that a good woman is not meant to give her husband trouble in any way. This, though, is not what they meant. Most likely, you will not like some things your spouse does, or some views they hold, which will lead to arguments, no matter how little once in a while. Refusing to argue is most times equal to refusing to iron out some issues in your marriage. This is not good enough. |
Politics / Sullivan Chime Defects To Apc-politics by alin24: 10:03am On Mar 17, 2017 |
The immediate past Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Sullivan Chime has reportedly dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. DAILY POST learnt Thursday night that Chime defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC His reported defection is seen to be a preparatory ground for an imminent political war between him and the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu. Both politicians had before the 2015 general elections engaged in one of the heaviest political battles in the State as Chime planned to unseat Ekweremadu in the Senate. The ex-governor later withdrew as Ekweremadu gained the upper hand. However, latest developments indicate that the former governor has not given up on the Enugu West Senatorial seat. Late Thursday night, spokesman of the APC in the South-East, Mr. Hyacinth Ngwu announced that Chime had joined the ruling party. He wrote in his timeline: “Breaking News: Today, His Excellency Barr. Sullivan Iheanacho Chime, immediate past governor of Enugu State joined APC.” His post, however, did not go down well with some Nigerians who felt Chime’s defection was to evade prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over his alleged involvement in the 2015 election money shared by former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison Madueke. But Ngwu swiftly fired back at Chime’s critics with another post. It read: ”I wonder how some of the opposite politicians talk. If their member is questioned by EFCC or ICPC or invited by the Police, they will shout to the heavens, ‘victimisation, oppression of political opponents’. “But when the same person defects to (APC), a better party with vision for Nigeria, they roar that the same defected to avoid interrogation by EFCC, ICPC or the Police. Haba, which way my people?” As of the time of filling this report, a text message sent to his then Chief Press Secretary, Barr. Chukwudi Achife has not been responded to. https://www.alinblog9ja.com/index.php/341-sullivan-chime-defects-to-apc

Jobs/Vacancies / BREAKING : C'river N-POWER Beneficiaries To Protest Nonpayment Of Stipend by alin24: 4:01pm On Mar 16, 2017 |
N-Power beneficiaries in Cross River State are set to take to the street later today to protest against the management of the scheme in the state over the nonpayment of their monthly stipends three months after approval by the federal government. While beneficiaries from other states are receiving their stipends, in Cross River, over 70% have not received anything since December. Recently, the program managers invited beneficiaries for another set of verification and ratification of account but till date, they are yet to be paid. When Ambassador Nkoyo Toyo illegally opened a new website for beneficiaries verification, we raised alarm but the issue was not given the desired attention. Although the federal government recently issued a statement warning states from operating different website from the approved one, it seems the deal has been done as the Nkoyo Toyo led team is bent on frustrating the program in Cross River State. Under Governor Ayade Benedict, nothing seems to be working. The CBN anchor borrowers program is still a mirage as fraudulent activities are going on there unabated, N-Power beneficiaries are no longer getting their pay, the school feeding program is coming soon and I can predict another round of fraud. It is very glaring now that Ayade PDP is committed to frustrating all President Muhammadu Buhari programs in the state. Relevant authorities must investigate Nkoyo Toyo and her team to unearth the reason behind the irregularities in the N-Power scheme. https://www.alinblog9ja.com/index.php/politics/318-breaking-c-river-n-power-beneficiaries-to-protest-nonpayment-of-stipend 1 Share

Romance / Seven Things Men Want In A Relationship by alin24: 3:48pm On Mar 16, 2017 |
These tips are few but mighty- yea mighty like in the bible the word "mighty". it has helped a lot of readers and i hope that it helps you too. 1. Praise And Approval Men have egos. They need frequent reassurance about themselves, career paths, efficacy as partners and their attractiveness. So ladies, let your praise loose. Tell your man exactly what you find attractive about him. Let him know what physical features of his are your favourites. Tell him how attractive you find it when he says something a certain way, when he accomplishes something, or when he takes you on a date. Your praise won’t make him cocky; it will help him feel loved. 2. Respect Men feel respect as love. If he feels like you disapprove of him, his career, or the things that he believes to be integral to who he is as a person, he will have a hard time trusting and loving you. 3. Emotional Intimacy From a very young age, men are taught to avoid appearing weak at all costs. Perceived “weakness” includes things like complaining, divulging fears or concerns, and expressing self-doubt or worry. If you don't take your man in your arms when he cries, he would be repulsive and not love you 4. Space Suffocating a man (either by failing to allow him free time or with overly jealous behaviour) is the fastest way to end a relationship. Men need breathing room in a relationship. 5. Physical Touch Men need frequent non-sexual touch as well as a sense of sexual connection. If a man’s partner comes up behind him and touches his neck and hair in a loving way while he sits absorbed in a task, he could feel just as loved. 6. Security Men and women are both attracted to certainty in a relationship. The more a man feels like his partner is in it for the long haul, the more ready and able he is to be able to open up to her (assuming he is equally invested in her). https://www.alinblog9ja.com/index.php/love-relationships/171-here-are-seven-things-men-want-in-a-relationship 1 Like 1 Share

Health / Insufficient Vitamin D Levels Linked To Infertility by alin24: 3:29pm On Mar 16, 2017 |
Male fertility Infertility has many causes but one that has been overlooked for a so long is Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in variety of forms, although most of these forms are inactive in the body. It is produced in the skin as a consequence to sun exposure and by eating certain foods. Vitamin D deficiency is a common problem among women. Perhaps, this may be due to the fact that they do not get enough sun exposure due to the risk of skin hyper-pigmentation or skin cancer. Vitamin D deficiency may also be as a result of poor nutrition. In addition, problems in the digestive tract can also cause inadequate absorption of Vitamin D. Lastly, being overweight or obese can also cause Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D plays a very important role in disease prevention and for maintaining optimal health. Most people have always known that Vitamin D is important for bone formation and for bone health. Well, In addition to bone health, Vitamin D aids in the prevention of various health conditions including heart-related diseases, cancer, and depression, while in recent years, it has been shown to have a positive effect on fertility for both men and women. The reason Vitamin D is so important for fertility and in getting pregnant is because it is needed to help the body produce sex hormones. These sex hormones are very important for overall wellbeing and for reproductive health. For instance, those who suffer from hormonal imbalances such as those with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) would most likely suffer from infertility due to inadequate Vitamin D levels. Studies have shown that Vitamin D levels are higher in a healthy woman than in patients suffering from PCOS. It is also worth mentioning that Vitamin D supplementation improves the effects of infertility treatment in people with PCOS. Vitamin D also stimulates Anti Mullerian hormone (AMH) production. AMH is a hormone secreted by cells in developing ovarian follicles and its level in a woman’s blood is generally a good indicator of her ovarian reserve. According to a study published by the Journal of Epidemiology, people with Vitamin D deficiency also have an increased risk of uterine fibroids. https://www.alinblog9ja.com/index.php/health/327-insufficient-vitamin-d-levels-linked-to-infertility
