Religion / Re: Making Sense Of God And After-life: A Desperate Cry For Help!!!!!! by AllIDoIsWin: 2:12pm On Jul 15, 2016
Scholar8200:
Enoch, Abel etc had the same thing but he chose to live to please God and he was not punished. My point is, I am yet to see any one in the Bible punished simply because they were Adam's descendants. The choices we make is what justifies or condemn us.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God
Romans 8:20,21

Refer to first response.

babies are amoral, are not yet able to discern good and evil and are not yet able to intelligently choose one or the other. Judgement is for those who are able to do these things.

There is NOTHING like a pre-existence!

thanks for your response. Enoch and Elijah are the exception rather than the rule when it comes to Adamic sin. Okay, let me ask this question, why do we die? when God created Adam and Eve, was it his intention for Adam and his descendants to die?

i do not understand your second point clearly, pls elucidate.

I would readily agree to the claim that babies are amoral, if you can back it up properly. but what about 2 year olds? they aren't babies, you see them do something wrong and then run away when you try to scold them. they're intelligent enough for that I think but i doubt if they're mentally developed enough to grasp the concept of asking for forgiveness.

about no pre-existence, let me ask, where then do we come from. how can there be an after-life, yet no before-life. like i mentioned earlier, why should i go through an afterlife when i had no say in how i came into being.

I'm just really concerned, i suffered the loss of a close relative and it has just set me off. i have prayed enough times, asking for forgiveness of sin, salvation, sanctification and baptism of the holy spirit. but it just hasn't worked for me. i still need more help and clarification on this.
