Good day everyone, im new here. I drive Bmw 3 series 328i 2010.... I was actually having a battery problem and I Was feeling reluctant to get a new battery instead I kept jump starting it with my wife’s car whenever I want to drive it out. Not until 3days ago when I did jump started it again the car started but it won’t accelerate at all for any reason. So I called a mechanic around to help me diagnosed its. And we got about 8fault codes and after clearing the codes about 3 or 4 fault codes won’t clear. The first was DME RELAY , valvetronic and generator something something can’t remember. But wen ever the car is on and on idle it’s shaking kind of the work of the car is not complete and a battery sign comes up on the dashboard. Rewire checked and the alternator is charging but when we remove the head battery car goes off. About 3 Rewires has come to checked it the alternator is charging. Even traced the relay and tested it with battery head it brought a sound to show it’s working. Pls can anyone recommend me to a reliable mechanic who has done similar thing?
