Good we are starting early

2019 Early Maize Farming.

Watch out for February rains. It is a risk to plant. There is the likelihood the rain sustains the crop as it has been a total dry season.

In all start your land preparation early enough. Especially if you have to brush a forest. Save the headache of inadequate burning. Do your best to clear this January and be set for planting.
For those whose land may require the use of tractor, it is still safe to wait or you can harrow beat the land for southern region so as to apply herbicides after the first rain.

For farmland request, you can get any size and any type all around obafemi - owode, ogun state. About an hour from lagos.
That is a short travel time to the lagos market or you sell directly on the farm.

Monthly over view pictures of the farm will be sent to respective farm owner.

E). Cumulative sales of produce after due notification will be transfered to the respective farm owner monthly.

G). I.D cards will be issued based on individual farm location.

H). Farm office will also be maintained by the entrance to the farms.

You can own a part of a 20 hectare Plantain farm estate, Ashero, near siun. Obafemi-Owode local govt. Ogun state.
An hour drive from Lagos and 25 mins from Abeokuta.

Details:

The land mass for the plantain farms covers 20 hectares.

The produce will be used to feed the plantain chips processing unit which will be located very close to the farm.

Each bunch from the farm will be paid for at a fixed rate of N400 either small or big.

This rate shall apply for 3 years. An upward review of 20% will be applied after 3 years.

Site specification:
1. The entire 20 hectares has been divided into phases 1, 2, 3 & 4. With each phase holding 5 hectares.
2. Each hectare is 15 plots of 60x120 ft.
3. A total of 1,700 plantain suckers will be planted on each hectare.
4. Organic Manure will be applied to each plant.

B). Time frame for each stage of the task are as follows:
1. Land preparation: January
2. Planting: February
3. Manure application: March.
4. Weed control: April - Nov.
5. Harvesting starts around Nov.

Experienced distributors wanted for plantain chips.

Remember to brush early taking advantage of the dry season to burn and save the extra cost for packing debris.

There is over 200 acres for lease according to individual capacity and any crop or livestock is allowed.

Of the 250 acres of land, the family is putting 20 acres for sale at N350k each.
It is close to kobape about an hour drive from lagos and 20 mins to Abeokuta.
It is my believe that the family may consider a discount because of the festive season.
There is a stream for possible irrigation.

The land is located at abule ogun village off mololoki on ofada-papalanto road. Ogun state 1:30mins from lagos.
There are existing farms around the land.

We now have ugu seeds at #20 each.
Good to plant this season and sell the leaves as the buyers will come to your farm, buy and pay cash.
