ginggerxy: No body ready want the military to take , but the democracy we have is more like the expensive version of the military rule , where people are killed during election because they do not believe in you, court orders are disobeyed, oppositions a haunted, protesters are killed at will by government, ethnic cleansing of minority tribe/religion. The military behaves almost in the same way, and people are saying if you behave the same way you have no moral right to ask the military not to plot coup. You most also be very stupid for you to say it's Igbos that are saying Tinubu should not send soldiers to Niger republic. You have a lot of people saying it, even the Senate rejected his request to send soldiers there and you're here displaying your foolishness accusing Igbos, it doesn't matter even if you're an Igbo. Didn't you listen to what the northern senators are saying about military intervention in niger republic? Didn't you here what adamu Garba said about it, why making it look like it's Igbos are the people saying it? Nigeria has been like this for a long time now. Anything that does not favor the majority of other tribes, they will blame it on the Igbos. Imagine them terming End Sars protest as Igbo Protest. Or you guys didn't hear that one. |

Ibos strive to be at peace? You're a complete idiot! Why are you not at peace in your cursed region.
Your ancestors introduced bitterness into the polity in 1966, but it later consumed them in millions The bitterness is still consuming you in your cursed land today with the introduction of ipob.
Today is Monday when your parents will be hiding under their beds from Simon Ekpa, who lives far away in Europe. Cowards! Product of bad parenting. That is what you are |

Yourluv: This hatred and envy will consume you if you're not careful Actually, if Nigerians are not too divided and so critical and jealous of the Igbos, this country would have gone far in achieving greatness. But they are afraid that Igbos will subdue them. They are not humble enough to let Igbos do their business in peace. If you can't learn from them, you can send your sons to learn from them. No, all they know is to block Igbo businesses and everybody is suffering from the resulting effects. Imagine scrapping the department of science and engineering in University of Nsukka in the early 70s because weapons of war was fabricated by the engineers from the East. Sometime I laugh at these people as they go round in circles trying to manage Nigeria. 😂😂😂 |

ecolime: There are Yorubas in Kwara, Kogi, Benin Republic and Togo. Lets not mention those who settled in Sierra-loane or Brazil.
I think many Nairalanders are ignorant and I hope someone who has the time can create a detailed thread to educate them.
Some Igbos are indigenous to Obigbo, Rivers state while we have those that are indigenous to Delta state and are popularly called Delta Igbo.
Is it then right for you to say An Igbo man is now fully owned and controlled by the Delta people? What is this one saying.. Ilorin has been a Yoruba land before the invasion by Fulani. The Fulanis also brought Islam along with them. But today same Ilorin is being ruled and controlled by Fulanis and Islamic clerics. This is different from your analysis of some few pockets of Igbos in Obigbo, or Yorubas in Kogi and so on. Nigerian Government has a hand in creating confusion when they created the states thereby dispersing some ethnic groups into different states. |

Workch: they generated the revenue because federal government gave the apapa and tincam monopoly for years. Which brought businesses hence revenue.
It's simple Leave those children that don't know the politics the Government played for their survival. The Government don't want to make it a level ground for the fittest. They know that Igbos will dominate far more than what we see now. One of the consequences against the host state is that the migration made Igbos own enormous property outside of their state of origin and the host community are now jealous of them. You can't eat your cake and have it at the same time. |

Politics › Re: Vandalism. FG Threatens To Block 2nd Niger Bridge by Alpharey: 7:53pm On Aug 04, 2023 |
BoldBrainz: I was part of the Federal Government team that liaised with CCECC during the construction of the new bridge connecting Ikom in Cross River State to Cameroon through the Ekok/Mfum access corridor. While that project had attained 90percent completion, we returned to the project site one morning to realise that metal guard rails spanning about a kilometre and half in length had been loosened and made away with. Of course at that point, the company was obligated to replace them, having not handed over the finished project to the client yet, being the FG.
However, independent investigations on our part later revealed that the said guard rails were removed by components of the Chinese company, probably because they had thought since it was a tripartite project between the AFDB, the Cameroon and Nigerian governments, replacement of those rails was going to be shouldered by the funding body, being the AfDB in this case.
This is not to suggest or insinuate anything. Just putting the message out here, to leave room for imaginative possibilities. But you can hear some stew-pid fellows here blaming others. One even suggested the demolition of the entire bridge because of deep lying hatred they have for their so called fellow Nigerians. That is why NIGERIA is still grooping in darkness since long time immemorial. |
Politics › Re: Vandalism. FG Threatens To Block 2nd Niger Bridge by Alpharey: 7:44pm On Aug 04, 2023 |

Na so their ancestor blow up the first bridge. You can see the level of your understanding. Empty brain. Do you know how many people of different tribes that make use of that bridge on daily basis. With this your comment, you are not better than those idiots that are vandalizing the bridge not minding the consequences on their papa, mama or siblings. |
