Many are in support of the so called officer not minding the truth of the matter. If approved plan of the project isn't legit or granted, the officer or anyone he stands in for are simply in the wrong. But the bandwagon on social media are simply after the fct minister.

In as much I think Mr Wike ought to have managed the situation more maturely, I think the impunity of Nigerian military personnels need to be addressed again and again. They always think they are demigods when dealing with civilians. Why should a retired general think he can retain a piece of land even when such land is not procured in a right way?

Vice Admiral AZ Gambo is senior to the current CDS, General Oluyode, and by that, the CDS cannot go against his orders. This is simple military tradition and precedence.

I passed this route recently on my way to Akure, Ondo state.

Guess what, I was shocked to find another big road dualisation and complete reconstruction going on between Ore and Ondo town being done with concrete. This is not even the type of popular road that makes the news, but I hear the entire length of the road from Ore - Ondo - Akure will be totally reconstructed this way.

If that is true, that will be a generational project for that part of Ondo State because such opportunity only come about once in 50 years or so for a road like that.

And I am sure these projects are going on all over the country, many of which are not reported in the news.

Yet, people keep asking where the money saved from subsidy is.
