Regional system of government was what the country started with. It at least Identified and suit our peculiar ethnic nationalities/differences while still in a country as Nigerians. The status quo was distrupted when some military leaders from a particular region toppled governance and proscribed Regionalism. On if we should balkanize the country, it will not come easy either like a roundtable agreement becouse same set of people from a region had opposed cessation clause in our constitution prior to independence.

The issue with Nigeria is just politics of religion.
Normally, the country was Joined together with people of different ideology of life.
It's best every region manage themselves. Some will prefer to live like Afghanistan and it's ok.
Even with our differences, a good and sincere leadership can manage the situation effectively. But, a lot of people will prefer their own tribes person who is incompetent to a better person of different tribe/religion.
In Israel, they have various religion, but they all come together to defend themselves.

You're right but the 2 countries can't just be compared like that...: Iseael is a high tech Nation, it is quite small in size and the citizens are mostly of same ethnicity...to say the least. If you justapose these to Nigeria you will understand better.

The post is very true... Sometimes some of us ladies would be labelling men trash because we'd be in denial of the fact that we have a trashy taste in men.

I have this one sister who hasn't been lucky in relationships to a point that the family started looking down on her and regarded her as the black sheep of the family for being in multiple failed relationships... Because two of us are married to our high school boyfriends while one is married to her varsity boyfriend.

She's the only one with multiple failed relationships together with two kids from two different baby daddies... All her exes treated her like trash and her baby daddies don't even care about the kids... I once even confronted one of them for abandoning his own child, but the guy didn't seem to care... My sister was still willing to do anything to continue being with these guys until they finally ghosted her.

Now she's engaged to this wonderful man who was willing to overlook her flaws and adopt her children as his own, the guy's family also love her, but this sister of mine has all of a sudden started growing some wings and taking the guy's goodness for granted... Sometimes she'd be acting as if she's doing him a favour by being with him and I don't like it one bit, but there's nothing I can do.

She lied to the guy about her monthly salary and immediately they got engaged, she asked me to open a second savings account from another bank so that every month she could deposit a certain amount from her monthly salary into the account just so the guy can continue giving her that monthly allowance... If it happens that she wants something and the guy is short of cash, she'd then ask me to sent her a certain amount from that same account, so it can seem as if I'm the one who borrowed her the money because the account was registered in my personal details... I tried talking her out of it, but she wouldn't take a no for an answer.

When the guy asks her where she got the money, she'd lie by telling him that she borrowed it from me knowing very well that the guy would start feeling bad and looking for a way to repay me, but the truth is that, that money never gets to me... She'll spent it on herself... Now the guy recently bought a new car and my sister is already planning on manipulating him into giving her the car.

It is simply not going to bring any advancement to South West. Agreed Oyo State may have slight edge in Muslim population over others. What about other states with more christian population in same south west that will obviously not want it implemented. It will gradully emphasise religious segregation to the Yoruba states instead of harmony/integration. It can be practiced in the North where it is favourable to them...after all we can see they 'benefiting' from it.

This is a deliberate attempt. Lagos State consumes more animal protein than Osun, Kwara etc, because of the population of Lagos State.

In order to reduce cost of production and making more ranch owners invest heavily in it, that’s why 2 ranches are cited there.

Moving animal and dairy products all the way from Kwara or Ondo to Lagos State would defeat the purpose of growing livestock farming.
Imported livestock of various species too would not travel far after being offloaded from ships which would make production costs lower.
Tinubu and his team feel those open grace ranches in outer South-Western states are enough for people of those states.

The number of beef and dairy products being consumed in Lagos alone is humongous and that’s why much of the supplies come from far Northern Nigeria. Before it gets down to Lagos, it becomes costlier.

Seeing these new ranches grow and develop would ‘ginger’ our state governors into either partnering or setting up their own because there is huge money in that industry. Meat packaging and refrigeration is there. What of veterinary and hay supplies, logistics etc?

Ranching is done on a vast area of land that runs into kilometers but not on a few plots of land.

Most of those governors were either toddlers or kids when Nigerian ranching system started collapsing in the early 70s to early 80s.

It's a welcome development; a very nice move. My only reservation is whether the ranch slated for Ogun should be better sited in either oyo or Osun state as Lahos and Ogun are in close proximity. Just my opinion.
