BlackBerry has finally launched its secure Android-powered smartphone in India called Priv. After the struggling BB10 OS-based smartphones, it is BlackBerry’s yet another attempt to capture the smartphone market, but this time with Android OS, which would take care of the app gap that has plagued BlackBerry OS.

BlackBerry smartphones have always been known for physical QWERTY keyboards and with the Priv, the company has included a slide-out keyboard. The company has also included addons such as BB Hub, BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), BlackBerry Device Search, DTEK by BlackBerry warning system, BlackBerry Notes and BlackBerry Password Keeper on top of Android.

BlackBerry Priv Android Specification, Features And Price:

It flaunts a 5.4-inch WQHD (2560x1440pixels) AMOLED display with curved edge screen, which is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 418 GPU. The Priv also comes with 32GB of onboard storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 2TB.

In terms of photography, the Priv sports an 18-megapixel rear shooter with OIS and PDAF. It can also record 4K videos at 30fps and full HD videos at 60fps. Up front is 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Armed with 3,410mAh battery and Quick Charge 2.0 support, connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and Wi-Fi Direct are present. On the software front, the BlackBerry Priv runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.

Phishing Attacks

These are more common attacks by hackers to a user. In this attack hacker sends a link to a user and the link will open the exactly same looking facebook page but the only difference is that when you enter you facebook ID and password that will not go to facebook it will be sent to the hacker. So don’t open such links.

Incognito

When you are using the account in public such as in the hotel or in café use private mode or Incognito as it will prevent any cookies or web history from getting stored. But if you do not find any option then delete all the cookies and web history when you log out. Even when on mobile, cause some mobile browsers offer this feature like Firefox or Google Chrome.

@Op, you know what made the ipod stand out? the use of the white earbuds which came bundled with an ipod, there were mp3 players then already but the ipod, through its easily recognizable earpiece stood out from the pack...also, the scrollable wheel of the device, it felt like bliss scrolling through a thousand songs and creating playlists with ease..... i guess the ipod is the only apple product i love.... maybe because it represented a certain period in my life...

US-based company Vaporcade is offering a smartphone that will allow you to make calls and text as well as smoke your favorite e-flavors – even help you quit smoking – tech website The Verge reported on Sunday.

The Jupiter IO 3 is reportedly the world’s first smokeable smartphone with a vape. A 3G smartphone that costs $299, it runs on Android KitKat 4.4 operating system. The smartphone has two batteries – one to power the phone and one to power the vape. The battery life is shared so if you do not vape much, you will get a longer battery life.

The smartphone has an opening under a little plastic cover off the top. Attach a flavored liquid cartridge and a mouthpiece to that and smoke right out of your smartphone. It comes with a button to regulate the heat and get a stronger pull. The liquid cartridges cost $15 and come in flavors like mint, peach and coffee and each one provides about 800 puffs, or four packs of cigarettes.

Moreover, the Vaporcade app on the phone lets the user track battery life, how much liquid is left, what flavour has been loaded in the cartridge, and how many puffs the user has taken over time. It also helps in quitting smoking or cut down on your vaping by setting a goal. The app alerts when the user crosses the number of puffs.
