The meeting went well. We are moving to Kogi in a few days to cultivate 3-5 hectares of cassava and also set up a garri processing plant. Members are enthusiastic and contribution towards the project has started.
We currently bank with Bank of Agriculture.

tony231: The farmers cooperative society will be needing members/investors to join us and discuss how we can secure farm lands here in abuja and nassarawa , if you are interested and ready to own a farm then indicate your interest so that we can discuss how to move forward. We have seen 51 hecters to 400 hecters of land in nassarawa so please be prepared to invest once we have finalised .

1. Tomatoes

3.peppe
4.watermelon
5. Biodiesel crops that grows in 5 to 6 months time and you make big cash from it both international and local buyers waiting to buy.

The issue is that the guy did not mention the unit of his measurement. Is it 100mx50m or 100ftx50ft?

Our meeting was great. Most of us seem to be on the same page so far. I'm sure it's because we are still small. Our active members now should be about 11. We are seriously looking for land. We are also seeking for support from govt and development partners.

36 inches = 1 yard ; 39 inches = 1 meter

144 inches = 1 square foot= 12inches
multiplied by 12 inches.

I thought then guy was asking how many tons he could get from his 100x50 land.

doctorisa: from a hectare of land you should be able to harvest 25tons and above with proper management if TME419 is planted, there are 15plots in a hectare of land..you can do the calculation of what you will get from that sir..

Where did you hear that BOI is operating banking in which you can open account? They don't. BOAgriculture does that. Besides BOI only finances items not giving cash.

DrIsa, you said u charge 6k monthly per acre and there are about 2.5 acres in 1 hectare. Does it mean u charge 6x2.5= 15k per hectare per month making 180k per annum?
