Guys, you can also check outt BOI CAP fund for agro processing. This one is 5%. interest ., butt for u to benefit u must come as a coooerative or group. |
Alternatively, let him join an agric cooperativr. he can put any amount , no matter how small and yet he will gain, especially if the cooperative can secure loan or grant like ours. Just that we are based in Abuja, i would have registered him in ours. . Really wish him all the best. |

I am based in Abuja. I was told that if you bank with BOA in any state and you have another project in another state for BOA to fund, your branch will just introduce you to the other state and u can still access facilities there. |
they are in jaydee87:they are in every state depending on where u are |
All these Nigeria weather forecast don't work. A staff of IITA told me some months ago that it will be late to plant cassava in September this year because rain will stop early. |
BOA requires 3 months, with good Biz plan and proof, you can get their loan. I go there regularly. they just approved my High Quality Cassava Flour loan, but this requires u to belong to the Nigerian Cassava Growers Association. |
You think you can still plant cassava this year? Cassava needs at least 2 months rain o |
Pls note that membership is closed for now. We intend to break into units of 15 as time goes on. The public will be kept posted when we intend to start accepting members. |

The Commercial Youth Farmers Cooperative in Abuja. has being officially setup, we meet twice in a month. Monthly membership fee is N5000 which we pay to Bank of Agriculture, we are already seeking for support from the bank. Have a few acres of cassava farm in Kogi. World Bank has agreed to partner with us. Also another organization has lent us 2 hectares in Kuje which we intend to use for livestocks. we are inspecting 20 hectares of land this weekend after Goshen along Keffi. It is so wonderful to see how youths are taking their destiny in their hands, creating wealth and jobs. You can still join us. Next meeting is Sept 27, 12 noon. RSVP 09006669089 |
In my opinion, Pst Chris should take a break from ministry and fix the marital issues. He should meet respected men of God (e.g Pst Adeboye, Mama Idahosa etc) to help them reconcile. What will it profit a man who gains 2.5million people but loses his own family of 4. |
I know dry season can spell doom for farmers. we lost our snail farming to it in 2006. What initiatives are available for irrigation? I read of a motorcycle powered bike irrigation in Kenya. http://www.businessdailyafrica.com/Motorcycle-powered-pump-now-makes-irrigation-easier-/-/1248928/1461368/-/wmc90qz/-/index.html. |
The guy that took us there actually did his NYSC there a year earlier. We got there around 1am, slept in the lowland in a missionary school, then trecked to the mountain the following day. It was a very touching experience. Those were pre-Boko haram days. Very peaceful area then. Catholic has a lot work there. |
zabuur: I served in Adamawa state. Koma hills actually exists. Then pastor K. Mohmoh was the owner of the missionary in that region. The allowance given to any Corp member there was much. Free food and the missionary also provides Internet service. Also there's a point where network signal can be detected. Though the pastor is dead now.I and a team went there in 2006 on the Pastor's invited. Extremely difficult terrain. |
