How much does it cost to register a business name in Nigeria? The cost of registering a company without a share capital is N20,000. The first 1 million share capital or less costs N20,000 to register as a public business. A private business with an authorized share capital of N1 million or less must register for N10,000. For every 1 million shares of a private company with an authorized share capital of more than N500 million, the registration fee is N7,500.
