Amazinggrace200: Depression is a terrible thing, it's only if you have been there that you can actually understand how it feels. Personally I don't condemn or see people that commit suicide as being weak and coward.
It's God himself that saved me because I can't really say how I manage to survive. 2018/2019 was years I can't forget easily, It all started towards the end of 2017 when a man I love and trusted so much left me for someone else. My whole world collapsed, I felt shattered and fell into deep depression. Some times I will leave the house just be roaming the street weeping with the thought of being hit by any passing car so that I can just die and leave all my pains behind me.
How I survived:
1. By God's grace, I believe God Himself saved my soul 2. There's this spirit always telling me "have you not heard people saying dying because of a man or woman is a stupid decision", 3. the thought and shame of the news of me killing myself over a man circulating all over. Lol...
4. Another thought of not wanted to hurt my family and loved ones who truly love and care about me.
In summary, by thinking deeply will make you realize suicide is not the best option or way out of whatever you might be going through. Lastly, ask God to help you and try to confide in at least one person i.e seek for help, thou this is not always easy because high level of depression will make you want to isolate yourself and not wanted to relate with people, you will just want to be alone and all alone with your thoughts. I forced myself to tell two of my friends. Try and speak up about your situation, it helps. |

Eulalia:
It is not inappropriate. Yes. Mind you, majority of people here are Christians. In fact this place is like a community and the advantage is that you get to meet more people here than in your regular offline community especially if you're introverted. The only thing is that, caution should be taken in dealing with online matchmaking or looking for life partner.
I really don't see anything wrong as long as you're meeting with fellow Christians and it doesn't mean one is impatient or that one does not have faith in God. Whether you search online or offline, your faith is still being exercised while prayers are ongoing for God to direct you to the right one. Whether Online or offline, Non means anything to God as long as you're not using it to commit sin.
Shalom. Ok Thanks for your view |

As a believer who has been praying and trusting God for a life partner, but seems that right man is not coming your way. Trying all these online matchmaking sites or coming to forum like this to look for a life partner, is it really appropriate or it can be seen as an act of impatient and lack of faith in God to bring the person He has destined for you your way in person at the right time. Your view... Thanks |
