The Belgium star may have played for the last time at Stamford Bridge, as he remained non-committal over his Chelsea future. Eden Hazard claimed he still does not know whether he will stay at Chelsea after firing the club into the Europa League final. Hazard hit the winning penalty after Chelsea played out a second 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, Kepa Arrizabalaga having made shoot-out saves from Martin Hinteregger and Goncalo Paciencia. Thursday's semi-final may have been the last time Hazard plays at Stamford Bridge, with the Belgium forward close to agreeing a deal to join Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain. Hazard's contract with Chelsea expires in 2020 but his situation is complicated by the club's two-window transfer ban, which the Blues are appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Chelsea would be unable to buy a replacement for Hazard were the sanction to stand and the 28-year-old indicated he remains willing to discuss staying at the club. "I don't think [about] that. I'm only thinking about trying to win something for this club," Hazard told BT Sport when asked about his future, having helped secure a Baku showdown with Arsenal later this month. "If it's my last game [the final] I will try to do everything. In my mind I don't know yet, so I will just try to win games for Chelsea." Spain, England, Italy and Germany are all guaranteed at least four teams in the Champions League group stage which, of course, helps. But history was made in the 2018-19 season when all four European final slots went to English clubs in Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Liverpool and Tottenham booked their place in the Champions League 2019 final in Madrid by beating Barcelona and Ajax respectively, while Arsenal and Chelsea are set to face off in UEFA's secondary club competition in Baku. A case of all four European finalists coming from one country has never happened before, so it was a momentous occasion for English football in 2018-19 when Arsenal and Chelsea progressed from their respective UEL semi-final ties. Arsenal overcame Valencia while Chelsea saw off Frankfurt on penalties the day after Tottenham and Liverpool were confirmed Champions League as finalists. It is the first time that all four European finals in a single season have involved English clubs. The veteran goalkeeper could sign off on his trophy-laden career against none other than his former employers and the Gunners' London rivals Petr Cech said he is not considering his decision to retire having helped Arsenal reach the Europa League final. Cech started as Arsenal beat Valencia 4-2 at Mestalla on Thursday to progress to the Europa League decider 7-3 on aggregate. The 36-year-old goalkeeper has announced he will hang up his gloves at the end of the season, drawing an end to a fine career. Cech holds the record for the most clean sheets in Premier League history, while he has won four Premier Leagues, five FA Cups, a Champions League and a Europa League. The Czech will go down as one of the modern era's greatest goalkeepers but while others have played on for much longer, he does not regret his decision to retire. "You have days when you play well and you think you could continue but I think I have made the decision with a lot of thought," Cech said to BT Sport. "I could possibly go another two years but I would rather retire early than too late. I wanted to do it on my terms. "The last dream was to play this European final and it has come true, now the dream is to win it." "With all my experience, I can compensate for the match rhythm with my preparation," Cech added. "The key is always how you prepare in training and I always behave the same whether I am starting or on the bench. I always feel confident I am ready to play. "I enjoyed it when we scored the fourth goal because that was the moment i knew we were in the final." Chelsea set up the perfect finale for Cech, who will face his old club in the Europa League final in Baku on May 29. The Blues needed penalties to squeeze past Eintracht Frankfurt, with Eden Hazard scoring the winning spot-kick. "I have no preferences who we play in the final," Cech said during extra-time at Stamford Bridge. "The team who manages to get to the final always deserves it. "It would be a remarkable end to my career if I play a European final against my former team."
