Your question is faulty. I know you intend the answer to be 1 but its wrong because the base number x must be greater than 4 i.e x>4. And 4 to the base of any number is still 4. But there is no way 4 raised to the power 5 & above will be equal to 4!

Mathematically, 4.base.x=4^x
since x is the base number of 4, x>4
but 4.base.x=4
therefore, 4=4^x which is impossible since x>4
hence the question is faulty Q.E.D
