Ugoh11: you do not need a collateral. Just go to their site www.prodigyfinance.com and apply, its very straight forward as long as your school is among the schools they partner with and fund. I am a recipient. I just got my loan approved, No hassles. Is it for only masters? |

LagosismyHome: If you do not have money , best to stay in Nigeria ..... This is not the time to be stranded abroad and fall out of status . That is one area Trump administration is not playing . People living illegally are deported left and right
if you dont have money , Then do your undergrad in Nigeria . it cheaper and if you are really serious about schooling abroad then when u are doing your first degree in Nigeria , make sure your grades are all up there from beginning so you can aim for scholarship at the master level Thank you! |

biikeys: Why don't you just apply and start schooling right away...if you have the funds that is. If you want to work to save some money, I would just concentrate on that and also look around for scholarships/fellowships independent of the school(s) you are looking at. Note though that two years from now, you might not be as motivated to go study abroad. Thank you. Just that No fund at the moment. |

omoluabiguy: Well, your questions clearly shows you are not ready - so why not go get the job and work for a year or two? When you are all set for schooling, you should start the admission process.
pros - Nothing
cons - * you Will lose your admission after differing for more than one or two semesters (talk less of 2 years) * your visa will be cancelled If you don't enroll to classes * you will find it difficult to get another US visa for refusal to use to previous one granted * A whole lot more complications and depressions you are really not ready for.
I assume you are fresh out of high school, hence my explanation. Thanks, Man |

joeluv: In Donald Trumps voice "You are looking for trouble". Not possible, if you do not resume school the school would report you and your visa would be canceled. You would need to exist the country within days. Jesu! |

adetola007: I wrote toefl on 21st May and I scored 98, to answer your questions, for the speaking section, you'll be given a headset, you'll speak into the microphone of the headset and your speech is automatically recorded. The speaking will be done almost at the same time by all of the test takers, save for the little time difference in when you start the exam. The noise won't really affect your speech really but it can distract you if you're paying too much attention to others. The reading passages range from 3 to 5. I had 5 passages while others had 4 because I was given experimental passage. You can only listen only once for the listening section. Take as much note as possible without compromising your overall understanding. I'll suggest you visit www.notefull.com and download their video tutorials especially for speaking and writing. They have a writing template you can follow. I used their template for the the two writing questions and I scored 24. Also download the official guide software and do all the three practice tests. The software will make you to become familiar with the exam structure. Also go to youtube.com and search for 'kenton County' and download his TOEFL video series. Those videos are the bomb. Practice writing using the topic list from the official guide, the topic you'll write on will be very similar to one of the topics. Cheers This is so helpful... Thanks. I wanna start prep today and write it in April ending... please how can I start the registration online? |
