EMMAACHILE: Can you dry it in the room? If you can, use the following to 25 kg bag of feed
1kg dry moringa leaf powder 250g of dry powdered pepper
Feed continuously but you will have to add multivitamin to water or feed to supplement.
This two will act as a broad spectrum immune booster, antibiotic, Dewormer and anticocci. Moringa is known to destroy completely stubborn bacteria like ecoli and Staphylococcus which is common with intensive poultry production. Thanks much sir, I really appreciate! |

Turks: *Keep Visitors to a Minimum *Limit Visitations to Other Poultry Farms *Keep All Animals Out of Poultry Houses *Practice Sound Rodent and Pest Control Programs *Avoid Contact with Non-Commercial Poultry or Wild Birds *Inspect Flocks Daily *Maximize the Environment *Keep Areas Around Houses and Feed Bins Clean
It is important for poultry growers to be aware of signs of disease in their flocks. Early detection of contagious diseases can greatly reduce the impact and spread of that disease to other flocks. Clinical signs associated with the possibility of a disease in a poultry flock are:
*Lack of energy and appetite *Decreased egg production *Soft-shelled eggs or misshapen eggs *Swelling of the head, eyes, comb, wattles and hocks *Purple discoloration of the wattles, combs and legs *Nasal discharge *Coughing, wheezing and sneezing *Lack of coordination in mobility *Diarrhea *Sudden or excessive mortality without clinical signs Thank you very much, i was planning to spray insecticide then disinfectant. But i will add an anti rodent, any recomendation? |

noeloge82: The truth is that all antibiotics have withdrawal period but try and key in the withdrawal period to ur target sales date to be on the safer side and for anticocc it's very important cocci is very deadly in birds Pardon my ignorance, i tut the said anti biotic is strong enough to prevent cocci. In that case please recomend an anticocci for me and the days of administration. Thank you. |

EMMAACHILE: Day 46 Feed update Rico Gado super starter Chikun starter Koudjis conc.
My observation about Koudjis according to manufacturers specification is that its superior to all Nigerian feeds and maybe one of the reason for the fast growth of my current batch. Crude protein as high as 23.5% starter (0-17 days), 21.5% grower (17-35 days) and 20.5% finisher (Over 35 days)
I also employed the use of ice blocks in water on hot days and the use of herbs made the chicks almost wormless and pathogen free Please I need explanation on this koudjis conc. Is it a feed or an additive that is used to make home made feed? How is it used? |

Agriculture › Re: ... by aminuelyakub(m): 6:59am On Feb 06, 2018 |
Turks: Amen sir. May god see you through this venture. Amen.
* it’s not advisable to use woodshaving from day one. Instead, make a woodshaving bedding as an underlay whilst you spread newspaper over the woodshaving. Reason is this: the birds can’t differentiate between feed and woodshaving, out of curiosity, they might pick on the woodshaving and choke to death on it. Some farmers introduce their day old birds to woodshaving straight away and get away with it but I’d rather you didn’t.
* It’s 30-50 birds to a tray feeder and 20-25 birds to a drinker. This varies. The size of the day old birds play a role in this. Thanks. Amin. Thanks much for the quick response. - After how many days is it safe to remove the newspaper overlay? - what is the ratio of round feeders to birds and when can i replace tray feeders with them please? Thanks once more. |
