PayPal is more preferably. Assurance covers it. I haven't tried the alibaba trade assurance before. Secondly, not all sellers on alibaba are legitimate. You need to do your homework well before trading with any of them

Well, I will advice bellyjean to involve police especially if his evidence is genuine. Try find insider and work it out yourself. Do not hire people to go to police or sars on your behalf cos you may end up spending more than you anticipate and the case may still not get resolved.
