Nicholasguzy: Yes thank you. Registering it would have made it so swift. And they’ve been really responsive from the embassy. And congratulations bro How long it will take to register on Belgium Mine took about 4 months |

Nicholasguzy: Oh thank you for keeping tabs bro. So I got an email directly from the French consulate asking for some additional paperwork so as to process my application. A proof that we’ve got our marriage registered in her home country. So I’m working on that at the moment. Oh that's a way forward bro. I got mine in 12 working days. Yesterday. You see last time I asked you if the marriage is registered in Belgium. You basically need to register it in Belgium then it will go smoothly. |

Nicholasguzy: I wanna ask if there’s a way I can reach the French consulate if I want to discontinue my application. I had contact TLS so many times and they couldn’t help at all. It’s going to be two months in couple of days since I applied and for a type C visa, the time frame is way too long. Belgium will start receiving applications back by July 22 and I’ll love to submit my passport with them but I can’t do anything with my passport still with the French consulate and no sign of them returning it back soon Anny good news brother? |

Yhujii: Good day all. I know this question must have been asked but I’m still finding it difficult to get an appointment on TLS website.. I’ve been running in circles.. the form is for my brother Inlaw but I used my email to fill the form and register on TLs. Can that be the problem. Or is it because I’m using a phone..
It will show book an appointment, and then select a country . And keep taking me back or it will go blank..
It was quite easier when I did mine last year with VFS. Now I don’t understand. Log in from the place I put a circle

Try to find a way to get your passport back atlesst Nicholasguzy: Exactly! It’s not like I’m applying for a D national visa. Even if they had to do further investigation, 45 days is the max. Norway issued the same visa under the same category in 3 days. I decided to use France coz of the proximity which is the reason why I’m suspecting they are delaying it. |

Nicholasguzy: When she emailed them, all she revived was an automated message telling her that they don’t disclose the status of applications. And when we called the number on their website, the response we got that they can’t have anything to say because the number is for French citizens in Nigeria alone. They are not being helpful at all. I’ll have to call again today If I may ask. What documents did you submit and how many times did she come to Nigeria |

KLEINBASS: 1. Am no brother to criminal. 2. People who died were criminals killed by mob(even South African criminals get the same fate)and it happens in the ghettos or the filthy side of town where to find most illegal immigrants. 3. No Nigerian was killed . Nigerians are killing each other over drug wars and rituals, their involved in crimes in South Africa watch a show called Sizokthola where they burst drugs dealers in South Africa 80% is Nigerian both Igbo and Yoruba. 4. The so called xenophobia started when a taxi driver confronted a Nigerian about selling drugs at the taxi rank then drug dealers killed the taxis driver which made other taxi drivers retaliate against all suspected drug dealers and businesses fronting for drugs(which your media never touched on) 5 I have no problem with documented Nigerians not involved in crimes, pity most in South Africa are either undocumented or involved in crime. 6. KLEINBASS: South Africans never run away from our country we travel for business or holiday then go home, unlike Nigerians who travel to be beggars and noisemakers in other countries. Come to South Africa you will find undocumented Nigerians roaming around like parasites contributing more to our crime stats. Yes it's true. You guys don't like to run away from your home land so that you kill the rest of your brothers and sisters. Yes we like to run away from our country but it's still better than you guys that kill your brothers and sisters like animals. |

KLEINBASS: Ireland just cancelled visa free for South Africa because of Nigerians findings a loophole into our laws to get to Europe. Guys just stay home and stop being parasites. The fact that is difficult to get visa in Nigeria it shows the world is tired of you guys. Now want to abuse the South African path which hurts our reputation that we are a gateway for Nigerians. I don’t understand what exactly you are doing in this forum? If you are a South African? |

More over did you applied for short stay or long stay visa? Nicholasguzy: Belgium wasn’t taking any applications for like two months due to one network ish. Now they just announced they will resume back by July 22. If I knew France won’t adhere to their 15 days wait, I wouldn’t have apply. Even Spain with tougher restrictions dey issue am in two weeks under the same directive. Make them jus give me my passport back i dey pray. |

Amml270: in addition to what you said. They want to be. Sure if you actually got married. You know if it was a marriage between you and french citizen it would have been different. because before you could get married to a french citizen.. you need to apply for a ccam from french embassy which could take year or month deoend in your situation and after the ccam then you can get married and after you need to do s transcription . So they know marriage with a french is fo sure a real marriage . because even the transcription takes 6 month. After the transcription they will issue you a family boom. So.. with you it will be different. French people are always suspicious of everything So don't worry you will get it But they will be sure and make proper investigation |

yerilistik: Sorry about this. Like i stated earlier, it would have been better and more straightfoward you applied through Belgium since your spouse resides there. However, the fact that it has taken this long, 7 weeks, makes me think they are likely to grant you the visa just that they are probably liasing with Belgian authorities to do some verifications before taking a decision. A refusal ll not usually take this long unless after investigations they find that you guys were not properly married. Just calm down and continue to excercise patience in addition to what you said. Nicholasguzy: I submitted mine under the spouse of an EU citizen and with lesser documents but they are taking so long with the decision .it’s the 7th week now and I hope if there’s a way one can withdraw one’s application And why are you going to Europe through France? Does your partner reside in France permanently.? If you are not careful it could take longer. From experience sha |

[quote author=Nicholasguzy post=130858198]Nah not yet. I’m now getting worried coz it’s the 7th week and I’ve tried all available means to reach them even if it means for me to withdraw my application. other countries like Spain and Norway issues my type of visa in 5 days. [/quote
I also submitted my file as a french spouse citizen But in your case there somethings that need to be considered. Does your spouse have dual citizenship? Your partner is from which country exactly? Where did you get married? I mean which country? All this are very important if you could elaborate |
