What kind of school will the child of a 50k earner attend?
Using the man's salary as budget. 15ok isn't even middle class anywhere.
Maybe pay fees and feed them. Is that all?
What about some little luxury?
Where will they live? In good neighborhoods of some common areas,house rent is like 300k-500k-1million or will they pack and go to the slums because the mom has to resign?

Before long the woman may start grumbling because their standard of living has depreciated drastically.even the man may start getting irritated easily because of underlying tension.
Abeg they should be practical about it jare. Even if the man resigns,the woman's income is not all that(you get?).

I think they should even look for how to increase their income instead of decreasing it.

If one person has to resign,let it be the more business savvy person. So that he/she can take it up and do it well.

My love, a father can never take the place of a mother no matter how caring the man is...we are talking about the futureof your kids here! I get your point though but I still insist the mother should resign and start up something or better still get a teaching job no matter how little the salary . You can't punish the kids all in the name of getting money to make them comfortable, those kids need their mum at this stage of their lives . They don't understand what it will cost to be with their parents especially the mum so why punish them just because you want to make money for them to be happy that's just my point sha.

My dear, I'm not biased. ..I'm not a fan of apple products though I haven't used any. I will pick Android any time any day over any other operating system. I don't care if Apple products are overrated cause I'm not planning to use them as long as Samsung still exist. My point is...from the bb phones that I have used ( curve 2*hides my face*, curve 4, touch 2 ) I would rather say blackberry are in no good place to mock Apple cause their phones are no good too thatz my point is just like pot calling kettle black . In fact I still use my touch 2 till date cause I subscribed to MTN night on my Android and as Usual my bonus got finished so I use my bb during the day and my Android at night and browsing during the day has been so annoying plus the hanging and everything

Very simple! The wife should resign and start up a business that will give her time for the kids. No wife should just sit at home and do nothing, you must do something no matter how little.
The woman has a very important role to play when it comes to kids so let her resign cause if na me I no go even give am second thoughts .....my family first when it comes to earthly things and God first when it comes to heavenly things

Well, I think your parents and siblings are right. Your hubby to be should take care of the major things like the wedding gown , ring, decor , food & drinks then you can do the rest but I don't think you have eunf reason to call off the wedding just becos he's stingy or something.
I also think you guys have communication problem cause this is something you guys should have talked about even before planning, he just can't wake up one morning and start buying stuff for the wedding without planning the whole thing with you. You guys have to sit down and talk about how to do the spending, who's buying what and all that so I get the fact that your siblings are pissed, I mean who wouldn't ? You just have to sit him down and tell him your mind, if you don't have eunf cash to buy the ring then tell him to make it up for you and move on. Don't dwell on the fact that he's stingy and don't allow whatever your siblings are saying get to you. You guys can talk things over...have a successful wedding.
