pj3400: Morning. I heard that their is a little different in the salary of the education graduate compare to those with non education. Pls have u in anyway seen the appointment letter issued out to those in project 355 and that of the education peeps. Pls is dir any different in it?

no difference,everybody whether edu or non edu is placed in grade level 8 step 1 as education officer 2 with no disparity in the salary structure

pj3400: Good morning. Pls if you want to report, pls do it in such a way that it will calm tension and not arouse one. Pls give detailed info so that ppl here can ask less questions. Sumone ask here if the 58k is the take home or if some amount will still be removed but no one answered. I knw some of you have gotten the employment letter buy can someone tell us the full detail of the letter. Anyway anybody can no whatever that pleases them.

nobody is creating any tension here and how is one expected to know when it's not stated in the appointment letter or do u think one has d time to begin to question those that issued d letter.may be u can also deduce the answer from this,item 2 on d letter reads
2.your monthly salary is stated below:
a.LASG Teaching service salary,grade level 08 step 1 - #54,615.33
b.LASG Teachers allowance - #3,890.21
total - #58,505.54
so,how do one know if it's tax free or not when nothing like that is in letter.

SA Balogun: @mosley, pls does district 2 requested for primary sch cert and medicla? Pls give full details of d process.

pry sch cert isn't necessary but if u've it,u can bring it.medical is compulsory as it's stated in d appointment that one should bring it for validity of d appointment but at dist 2,u can bring it later may be b4 posting.all u need to collect d letter are 2 passports,photocopies of your credentials,1 copy each,photocopy of your birth cert/age declaration.medical can be brought later.

it's of no need as the the documentation is strictly on district basis,they already have the list with them and won't attend to anyone from a different district.I even asked from those doing the documentation for people at district 6,they said the documentation there is only for district 6.I'm also in district 2 and i'll call the sec to the p.s tomorrow to gather information

If I resize it, will be useless cos of the tiny prints. Screening for successful candidate from 4th-7th of June and Appointment letter to be issued on the 10th of June.

i did training(project 355) under district 1 but I saw my name under district 2,the sec to d P.S said that whenever the list for district 1 is out and if my name is there,I should inform them,so friends,if you've not seen your name in your district,try to check for other districts.
In district 2,For biology(non edu) there are 7 names viz ogunmefun fehintola f,ogunkola sarah,ademosun temitope o,adeyemo busayo v,ogunleye aliu o,gafar titilope r and my own name.For edu,only 2 names for biology.
We shall all succeed by God's grace

Wonderful comments so far but I want to add this from my own point of view,I will still blame the corruption in our government which involves bribery,nepotism,job racketeering and so on.From my encounter with many nigerian graduates,I discovered that 80 out of 100 are intellectuals,goal setters and prospective entrepreneurs but what they need which is lacking include enabling environment,funds and other opportunities.There are graduates whose passion is in academics regardless of the pay and after opting for their masters degree couldn't get the starting opportunities they need.
Let me stop here,may God help.
