Glimpsetv: “₦400 million is not money; ₦400 million is just ₦400 to me.”
That was the bold claim businessman and philanthropist King Ochacho made while talking about the ₦400 million house he announced as a wedding gift to popular TikTokers Peller and Jarvis.
During the couple’s wedding, Ochacho publicly declared he was giving them a house worth ₦400 million. The announcement sparked plenty of online reactions, and he has now explained why he sees that amount as relatively small.
Speaking on a TikTok live with his children, Ochacho said:
“₦400 million is no money. ₦400 million is just ₦400 as far as Ice Cream, Money Man or Churchill East Bay is concerned. It’s small money to them.”
He was referring to his kids, who are also upcoming musicians.
He then turned to them and asked if they were the ones who decided to make that gesture. They answered yes.
Ochacho also shared their ages: King is 15, while Ice Cream will turn 13 in a few days.
But the conversation didn’t end with the house.
Still on the live, Ochacho revealed there was more money to give away. He announced plans for his family to help students struggling to pay school fees.
According to him, students who haven’t paid can be considered, as long as they provide the school’s direct account details so the fees can be paid straight to the institution.
He specifically said his son Ice Cream would be settling the school fees of selected students on Thursday — which happens to be Ice Cream’s birthday.
Ochacho explained that the selection would cut across different parts of the country and urged students who meet the conditions to get ready.
He stressed that they were more than ready to help, describing themselves as “hungry to deliver.”
The moment closed on a lighter note, with laughter in the background as they used the popular slang, “Who dey breathe?”
The video has drawn mixed reactions.
Some people feel Ochacho may also be using the generosity to promote his children and their budding music careers. Others argue there’s nothing wrong with using positive publicity to support his kids’ careers, especially when people are being helped in the process.
Many simply focused on the generosity itself and praised him for giving back.
Ochacho has also been known as a low-key philanthropist. In an older video, Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido was seen hailing him and speaking positively about him after Ochacho reportedly gifted him a brand-new Lexus.
And during Peller and Jarvis’ wedding, Ochacho’s son also took to the stage to perform one of his songs.
So while the ₦400 million house gift continues to spark conversation, Ochacho’s latest comments show how he views the amount, describing ₦400 million as just “₦400” when measured against what he considers small money.

Spurs are looking for a new striker this summer as Roberto De Zerbi aims to improve his forward line and Richarlison ponders a possible exit.

Reports on Sunday claimed that Osimhen is a new name on Spurs' transfer wishlist.
Osimhen has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and was most notably tracked by Chelsea two years ago before transfer talks broke down in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Now at Galatasaray, Osimhen is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League and Caught Offside report that personal terms would not be an issue with the player open to join Spurs.
Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur claims Tottenham have made their first move to sign Osimhen by making an opening offer worth between £50million and £55m.
Galatasaray want closer to £65m to sell the 27-year-old.
It remains to be seen if Spurs are interested in Osimhen, but a new striker is expected to be on De Zerbi agenda for the final weeks of the transfer window.
The Spurs manager confirmed on Saturday that Richarlison's future remains unclear heading into the new season.
