Optimism is good but it can also be a bit misleading.
I'm a realist through and through. Ike was a good contender for the prize in the first weeks, but his little to none nomination outing didn't do him justice. I'm still hopeful for him but I know the next few weeks will see a major twist in the game.. I hope it doesn't affect my Ike

Mercy can still pull a 'miracle' even with Ike right there with her on the finals. Tweetoracle (who's supporting Tacha btw) did an online poll with Mercy, Tacha, Mike and Ike as finalists and asked people who they'd vote for. The poll got over 10,000 votes as follows .

Mercy - 46%
Tacha - 33%
Mike - 15%
Ike - 6%

It's obvious that most Merike fans will put in their votes for Mercy because they know she has more of a shot at actually winning.

Tweetoracle deleted the poll in less than 2 hrs because the pain was too much for him. I'm sure he thought including Ike on the poll would mean less votes for Mercy. Personally, I think with or without Ike at the finals, Mercy is good.

If Ike is up with Mercy, Cindy and any of Tacha or Mike, Ike will bounce. Even Frodd seems stronger than Ike at the moment, especially with the rallying cries by influencial people on Twitter using his tribe as a campaigning strategy.

I heard your teammates are on a rally to keep Ike to the finals though. They're sure Ike being a finalist will guarantee Tacha's win (as per vote splitting things).

What you don't understand about bandwagon mentality is that it's harder to control. It's not a switch you can put off or on, when that movement begins, thats it. Cindy placed 4th two weeks ago, now she's placing 2nd. Cindy is now a strong contender and will displace one of our fave as a finalist. I'm starting to get in tune with the reality that my Ike might not even make it to the finals. It hurts but I'll rather be hurt now than be taken by surprise. See what pity votes can cause.

Information reaching me is that Cindy is 2nd to Tacha presently on the polls now. That's like top 5 almost guaranteed. When the undecided voters see how well she did, they'll swing to her favour and give her the final push. She gets the real underdog votes and other teams votes wouldn't be necessary then.

As I said earlier, Cindy is that pet tiger you raise that later consumes you. We should have let her go when we had the chance. But then again, not many people have foresight or are adept at human psychology. I was trying to tell people that during that ludo incident, but I was cussed and called bad belle because I could almost predict the future even at that time. I perfectly understand Nigerians bandwagon mentality, and that plays out even to the leaders we elect. People don't like to think for themselves but just go with the flow.

I don't have anything against Cindy per se, just that she's no different from other task driven delawoods in the house, and if we didn't reward Jackye and Esther, why should we reward her? How is she better than them? . If everyone in the house were like them, I doubt we'll be tuning in to watch the show.

Team Mike should be scared, team Ike even more so. Cindy is now a serious contender for that prize. And please don't forget that bet9ja has so much more to gain if someone from nowhere clinches that prize. They'll be billions from those who bet Tacha, Mercy, Mike, Omatshola, Ike etc as potential winners. They'll help with the subtlest psychology to tilt the game to Cindy's favour.
