Thanks Oga Bellong for ur quick response.
He has 7 in total band and I have 6
I checked the point calculator and he's score is below 60 I guess due to age, he will be 36 by November and again is his education. He is a HND holder. But pls if u don't mind can u help me in re calculating it.
Another question how long does the assessment take and how can one be in d pool before been invited.

You probably have read wrongly...

1. Only the principal applicant needs a skill assessment.. The dependent spouse may write English test as a proof of functional English.

2. 3years for migration purpose.

3 and 4. Your husband can assess as a civil engineer technician which doesn't require a state nomination. Tasmania is a no go area because you must have a job offer before being invited or have a relative living there.
Civil engineering technician is on the MTSSL, meaning you can apply for subclass 189 that requires no state nomination.
You have a pretty​good chance. What's your IELTS score ( your husband's)

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I have been reading the write-up and it's very informative. I have done some research and need to ask some questions.
1. Must the principal applicant and spouse be assessed and write English test for PR.
2. What's d validity for ielts.
3. I found out that it's only Tasmania we are qualified for nomination. How is Tasmania as most people don't talk abt it.
4. My husband is a civil engineer and am a banker with 3kids. He is HND holder, while am a bsc.
What are our chances. We already have IELTS of February 2016
