The truth is, we are al greatly disappointed wit dis recruitment process, evn Lummyguy (if u can be sincere wit urself). We knw d country is bad bt who knew its dis bad! Atleast a word to the public! Dis force has an administration for God's sake! Wat ar dey thinking?! Bt lik u've byn saying, its d military. Guess dey ar a lot mre tough-hearted than we tot! I believe its because we knw wat we want, who we want to be and we won't give up on it, no matter wat NN does to us!
If it doesn't work for any1, move on, pick up courage and tak another risk!

kwajay1: Good day prospective officers. This is an information going out to you all. If u like believe and if u like don't. Your list will comeout this Thursday or Friday, the delay has been due to lack of location for prospective candidate. The navy sec sch borikiri is still in session but For now, the present nnbts trainee will be thru with their training this thirsday @ Onne and the venue will.be free for you guyz to come in and have your interview process. I wish us all the very best. I strongly doubt if the names appear on news paper, though anything can happen. They may use the news paper also but previous list has been online.
I agree wit d guy who quoted u, d reasons u hav given sound reasonable bt then u hav to forgive our scepticism because of our experiences on the thread. So fingers crossed, thursday or friday. Thanks for the information.

lawalyato:

1. Why do you want to join the NN?
2. Tell us about your boot camp/training experiences.
3. If you could get rid of any one of the three military, which one would you get rid of, and why?
4. If selected for this position, can you describe your strategy for the first 90 days?
5. Who are your heroes and do you think a leader should be feared or liked?
6. In three words describe the security situation of your country.
7. Military coup is important. Yes or No?
8. If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?
9. What techniques and tools do you use to keep yourself organized?
10. Do you know any officer (s) or staff in this camp? if yes, name them.

pman06: I'm not a dssc applicant, am an nnbts applicant. I can tell you that when i went for interview after the zonal test, i never knew i would be selected, talkless of being the only one selected from my category out of over more qualified 70applicants applying under IT from my state. I dont even have the basic certificate to apply, and yet i know no godfather. I use glasses too cos of my sight due to exposion to computer, when i got to ph to do interview, the officer gave me 6/6 in eye test even though i told him that i cant read what i was told to read. And you telling me God dont give a damn if you are a solder or not? Well, we are all entitled to our own opinions...but i suggest if you know a cleric in ur religion, ASK FOR DIRECTIONS.

God bless you Pman because jst as he has done it for u, so shall he do for me. Aldou to be honest, I've also spoken to Ogas at d top through pple who knw dem. Bt I gt to knw dat I knew pple who knew ogas at d top AFTER I had applied for NN! den I ask myself, if nt for God....
I believe its d will of God for me to join d navy. So many things has confirmed it to me.
Growing up and seeing my Uncle's pics, I knew I wantd to be lik him.
In camp, nysc, I had abt 4pple ask me if I've considered joining d military cos according to dem I hav the aura (personality).
I tld u guys hw I was unjustly fired after jst a month of working! Fired for jst no reason! 2days later, I get job alerts and boom! I see d NN recruitment and d spirit of God says "u knw wat dey say abt wen one door closes, anoda opens, nw is ur chance". And I seized it.
In al dis waiting, I had a dream, and in it, an officer, junior officer I knw tld me I gt in. I argued wit him dat d list I've seen my name in is jst for interview, and he jst said, "u've gtn in jooor"
I've always desired to join d Navy because my uncle is an NN officer. Bt I chickened out as I grew. Bt den I get dis job, and in jst a month, I get fired! Here is where I believe God's hands ar at work. If I had nt lost dat Job, I wldnt hav been convinced or evn hav d tym to apply for Navy!
Truth be tld, evn if God has plans for u and u dnt move and work wit God, u will remain where u ar! See FAITH witout WORKS is DEAD!
First knw d mind of God concerning u. Second, work towards it!
Onward together.

As a child, my mum came back wit pictures frm my uncle's wedding who was a lieutinant commander at d time. I loved d pics since himself and his two little grooms wore d uniform. I tld my mum, I'll lik to wear d uniform oneday. She said she thinks wat I want to say is, I'll like to marry a Naval officer, I said no, I want to be one myself. She said I shld concerntrate on my books as she thinks d job is mre for men dan ladies. Since den, evrytym I saw a NN officer, I secretly wished to be one. So I finished uni, gt a job and was fired within 1month of working. My boss said I insurbordinated her (lies). And witout any previous record, I was fired desame day. It hurt badly cos I didn't do anytyn to d girl! 2days after, I gt job alert and among dem was NN application. It was nt d first tym I was seeing it bt dis tym I summoned courage, called my parents and tld dem I was going to apply. Dey tot it was kul and I applied.
Here is hw I classify my reasons and advantages of applying, job security, power (respect) and the money.
