Ibo is the largest tribe in nigeria no doubt, but they dont make up to 50% of lagos population, more like 30%. Yorubas still own and dominate lagos.

i will fast night and day to see u ppl leave nigeria, so irritating and empty noise makers. u guys cannot thrive in ur cursed land , accursed group of ppl. you only do well when u leave ur land. u will forever remain the most hated tribe in africa, because u are all very disgusting, i wish am the president of nigeria my first assignment will be to drive u retards out of that country. i have not seen a group of ppl so irritating as ur lot.

Actually in the USA, i see more igbo guys marrying yoruba girls than the other way around. And i have been in the US for a long long time.

nobody knows the actual population of nigeria by ethnicity but igbos are probably at per with yorubas.the hausas and fulanis who are obviously 2 different ethnic groups merged to become the largest.i think the largest merger ethnic group is igbo-efik-ibibio-anang-ijaw-edo-ogoni-urhobo-igala-yoruba-esan-etsako-isoko-tiv-ogoja ethnic nationality.

I dont know about the other tribes in that group but i think urhobo, edo, esan, ijaw, itsekiri are closer to yorubas than to igbos. Some of their names are similar to yorubas. I know efiks have a lot of cultural similarities to the igbos though.

@ topic, i still think igbos are the largest, An average yoruba family tend to have 2-3 pickins nowadays, whereas average igbo family as double

Forget about BecomPOOR maps, Igbo ppl are the largest, biggest and baddest tribe in naija!    

Without any doubt, i believe igbos are the biggest tribe in nigeria, followed by yoruba, hausa, Ijaw etc. You find this ppl everywhere and Imo state is the most densely populated after lagos state.

Forget about the theories that floats around that hausa are the majority, igbo are the biggest tribe.
