Nairaland GeneralRe: 4 Tribes In Nigeria Where Husband And Children Dies If The Wife Commit Adultery by Analytix: 7:14am On Dec 24, 2023
Another place worthy of mention in this regard is Arochukwu in Abia State. The people of Ututu, Ihechiowa and Aro also have the same consequence if a married women commits adultery. The husband dies if he's aware and conceals the matter, especially if he eats her food and sleeps with her. In other instances where the husband, perhaps is a spiritually sound Christian, his children would fall ill and die. Ihechiowa have it particularly bad. There, if a man's relative is aware that the wife is guilty of adultery and keeps quiet about it, that relative would die. In spite of religion, modernisation and technology, these things still happen.
