Hmmm!! I was thinking this is about Nigeria but I was surprised to see it is about "cameramen"

This days, everyone with a mobile phone is a cameraman.
Prof, this is 2016 and not 1976, live with it!!!
The celebrant isn't complaining why you?
I think Prof is seeking media attention but it did not get it.

Next time, it shall be well!!!

Properties › Re: Fire Outbreak At Lagos Airport Hotel by ANBAKO:
It will have been better for the whole hotel to burn down!!!
Lagos Airport Hotel has become a monumental eyesore. Its past glory has since departed it save for its Olympic-size swimming pool.

It will have been an opportunity to turn it to a great 3-4 star hotel it used to be.

Note that this hotel is under the Oodua Group. A conglomerate formed during the days of the western region by Ogun, Oyo, Osun , Ondo and Ekiti states as a regional development plan.
The aim was laudable and great but the ideology, political leaning and poor management killed their ambition and objectives. Nepotism and politics overtook the management of the companies.

it set up the National Bank of Nigeria, Wema Bank, the Nigeria General Insurance Company, Great Nigeria Insurance Company, GravilEnthoven and Company, Lagos Airport Hotel, Vegetables oil, Cocoa Industries, Odu’a textiles, Wrought Iron Ltd, Union Beverages Ltd, Sungas Company, Wemabod Estates, Western Livestock, Fisheries Services Ltd, Caxton Press, Epe Plywood, Askar Paints, Nigerian Crafts and Bags Ltd, Nipol Plastics, Phoenix Motors and several others. They held various portfolio most of which are now moribund.
Politics › Re: Profile Of Osagie Ize-Iyamu PDP Governorship Candidate In Edo by ANBAKO: 8:26pm On Jun 20, 2016
Everything in this writeup just show 1 thing - This PDP candidate has no pedigree or skill to manage anything. Another full-time politician who has live his whole life through politics. In no single paragraph was it mentioned where he worked except politics.

PDP should understand that this is 2016 and not 1999. We need sound, competent and experience people with savvy, intellect and traits to manage, plan and execute life-changing projects, landmark reforms and great impact in developing their citizens.

This "crafted and crooked" write up/CV is zero. Place it side-by-side with Obaseki's, you will clearly see Iyamu as a Governor who will be building pedestrian bridges and roundabout for his 4-year term.

so Mourning of a Judge now connotes work-free day!!!
People went to work even when they were mourning due to death of Nigerian president (Yar Adua).
I pray his salary for today will be useless to him.
You can immediately deduce the type of judge he is and judgement he can pronounce.

when will people learn to take responsibility?

You are a cobbler with a housewife and 2 kids. Dont you know what contraception is? You can barely feed those kids yet you are bringing additional mouth to feed ontop food wey no even de sef!!

What height of irresponsibility is this. Now they are seeking external help to raise their children that they CHOOSE to have, knowing they have NO MEANS to raise those children.

Contraception is even cheaper than a pack of pampers and a tin of cerelac. And no one should come and mastorbate under my comments about children open doors for people. What about the first 2 kids? are they not blessings or are they curses?

Please and please, people learn to take responsibility and think things through rather than bringing hardship to children.

A poor man is looking for a son, to inherit wetin na? is your name dangote? Even dangote has ONLY 3 daughters despite his wealth and he stopped there. Bill gates has 1 child, Richard branson has 2 children, Sanusi has 7 children from 3 wives, please what is this man's excuse for breeding more than 2 children.

This is a nice move. Slam on them serious charges so that next time they know how to threat their customer as kings. Also this will make them give their worker/agents adequate training and packages to avert this type of situation.

I am sure he will not get 500M but let them spend the next 1 year in and out of court.

End time for all these Airlines delivering shabby services when coming to Sub-Sahara Africa while pretending to be world class organizations when going to Europe and the Americas.

Christianity Etc › Re: My Questions And Thoughts by ANBAKO: 7:09am On May 07, 2016
I am happy people are asking questions about our obsessiveness to religion.
Religion has taken over our life that we only live for the religion.
This make some "Sharp men" to control and systematically hypnotize gullible Nigerians in millions and enrich themselves.
Our people are one of the poorest in the world but our "men of God" are one of the richest.
They now have specialty: Marriage and counselling, Wealth Creation, Teaching. There are no more preachers but speakers.

The basis of everything is that religion is Government, Government to control and hold onto power, Power to control their followers.
It is just like democracy and communism. Everyone ditching out propaganda to be relevant, relevant to be in control.

To me the base of all religion is do good always!!!

Unfortunately that is sad story of our nation where consumers are at the mercy of service providers whereas it is suppose to be the opposite.
Consumer protection body is useless, powerless and probably on the payroll of these fraudsters called banks and other service providers.

The corrupt nature of our society makes it hard to sue these mof.os because the compromised judiciary will truncate all your efforts.

Banks that force you to transact in foreign currencies so as to rake in extra 50% profit on FX even when you have option of transacting in local currency to avoid these FX palava.

May God save us from ourselves (Because we are the evil befalling ourselves)

Mr. HslBroker,

Please help estimate quantity of wood, sheet and other materials that will be required to roof a building of 85ft X 45ft.
It consists of 2nos. of 2 bedroom apartment and 2nos. of 1 bedroom apartment.
I am planning the normal height with 4-sided slopes and simple aluminium sheets. No stone coated sheet, modest and conservative as possible.

My project is in Ikorodu and we might have a deal if the figures are favorable.
Note that project is ready, the only delay is material and my absence presently.

Thanks

Please I need a conservative estimate of roofing a building 85ft X 45ft.
Everything is basic: Basic aluminium roofing (No stone coated stuffs), Simple and straight design.
