RT Briscoe investment and savings has about 71m naira under management, imagine depositing over 100m naira with them, that means it is your money they are gonna use in learning how to handle cash and risk in the industry, some high interest rate dey high blood pressure, God abeg ohh.

Neurotika:
Hmmm….
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers:
Lol... We all hate stress, maybe the stress is the price we've to pay for STL higher rate.

Batman2412:

So STL has taken over Trustbanc, it is well sha... I still dey gather mind to open and deposit fund with STL, despite the good rate, person needs enough courage to deposit fund with these new fund managers with higher rates, if you know you know.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 2:09pm On Feb 16
Norrenberger don fall our hand, I just want to wait a bit let me see their rebounding process, if nothing improves in few days, na to relocate my little funds to another fund manager.

ogoo4real:
Has the inflation rate dropped, this one Norrenberger interest has dropped to 14.9%. lowest so far.

Some Nigerians don't value their things... But I am happy things are beginning to change, thank God for social awareness and the upcoming generation who are trying to be more local than international.

I travelled round south south and south west of naija last October/November, I was more than impressed with what I saw... I was overwhelmed with joy seeing the way Nigerians are now going into production and making more use of our local resources, despite the challenges.

If government can give us more constant light and provide more security, naija is going to fly above the sky...

We are too hungry for success, no matter the situation..

God bless Nigeria.

Beeron:
Nigeria is weird place to invest.

The citizens like to invest in Dollar mutual funds to hedge against the Naira devaluation essentially betting again their own currency.

Meanwhile foreign investors brings in Dollar, converts their dollars to Naira to invest in Naira mutual funds.

Weird

Okay... It is well, maybe @emmasoft could be of help...

I personally don't care when they're posting daily rates, I just want a good and competitive rate from them..

squad1:
Hehe... Na money matter oo. Actually i am not really enjoying their service maybe it is because i am used to using StanbicMMF. With this norrenberg, i cant even do autiinvest. I complained and was told of additional charges. Haba.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 10:11am On Feb 05
Nigerians nor get patience for money matter ohh, we understand sha..

Apart from updating our daily interest or booking our newly deposited funds, fund managers also have other jobs they engage in, like scouting for the best channels to invest our funds..

Norrenberger is very okay... They could even be updating rates every two or three days, no wahala... But they must ensure rates are competitive in the industry, that's the major concern for most investors.

We will definitely get to our financial destination.

squad1:
Those using norrenberg how una dey take do am? The service is poor. I am just testing the waters with them but it is not encouraging.

I funded my acct since tuesday morning. Up till now, it has not reflected. For them to update my acct balance na wahala. Cant keep up.

I just received a mail from Stanbic asking why I haven't top-up my mmf account for a while now. Some thoughts 🤯 just came to my mind after reading their mail...

It seems Stanbic fund managers don't know that other fund managers are 3 to 4+% ahead of the 15+% they had been giving for weeks now..

Someone should please inform them that the industry is heavily deregulated and investors goes for the highest offer, because overtaking is allowed by SEC.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 1:35pm On Feb 03
Norrenberger is sometimes slow in updating their daily rate, however, their daily rate had been so encouraging so far, they should take their time, but they mustn't go the Stanbic ways... Let's be patient with Norrenberger, their rate is cool and okay..

ogoo4real:
It seems there's a delay in updating the interest payout usually after month end. Same thing happened in Jan first week after the year ended. They really need to improve on it. It might take up to Friday for them to update it. Thanks

Lol... Poverty is our main enemy ohh, I personally fear poverty pass death. That's why I started working extremely hard at a very tender age, to gain financial independence on time..

Beeron:
and please tell him, he has to pay for using my trade mark (poverty is our common enemy)
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 6:42am On Feb 03
Well said, I want to invest about 100m with either Trustbanc or Norrenberger, please I want you to advise me on how to go about it..

We only know how to make money the old ways and not into fintech.

We are friends now, so don't take it personal, as I am also learning from your write-ups.

Creditalerts:
the goal is everyone should make money without tears and smile to the bank always, poverty is our common enemy🤑🤑🤑
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 7:24pm On Feb 01
Well said @Beeron, you are highly respected here...

Creditalert is a cool guy, his activeness here is also useful as well, I just wanted to crack him a bit.. I sheathe my sword 🗡️

Poverty is indeed the real enemy.

I be old skool here oh, I also changed my moniker...

Beeron:
while you seemingly see some people as newbie and you the experienced one who just observes from the back seat.

It doesn't make both the newbies and the self proclaimed experts special if when the macro economy crashes tomorrow and everyone loses money in the process because no one will be immune to financial collapse except you invest in a foreign land with foreign currency.

My point is: instead of classism type segregation talk or expert vs newbie type conversation.

Let us continue to help each other, teach each other, the only enemy we are all fighting against is poverty. And every one goal here is a life of financial freedom.

I have been on Nairaland since 2011 and started contributing on this thread since 2017 when I began MMF but you wouldn't know because this is my third moniker/account.

Let's fight the common enemy known as poverty.
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 6:17pm On Feb 01
They are not completely out of teaching the house about finance, they just want to give these newbies some time to flex their new found financial talents.... Let Creditalerts teach us for a while, he knows everything about the industry.

Alaska90:
What is their usefulness on the board if they are just going to be observing from backseat without contributing to correct or teach others
InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 5:20pm On Feb 01
Don't mind these newbies, their blood is too hot, they always act like know everything without really knowing nothing and never listens to the words of financial wisdom.

Particular this Creditalert, his gragra is something else, like someone who has never seen money or fortune before....

All the financial gurus with decades of experience are observing from the backseat.

tagonn077:
Now is that not what @sharon was talking about?. But you called her a liar.
All these newbies in this forum.
