Nah, don't feel discouraged at all. For Graduate Trainees, I don't think professional membership is a deal breaker at all. You're barely out of school, you probably won't meet the threshold for some professional membership applications anyway.

As for the NYSC, might as well upload the call-up letter. Who knows

The application mandates applicants to submit NIN before proceeding. I doubt the possibility of having more than one NIN.

For the experience hire position, do you think the assessment will be based solely on verbal and numerical or discipline related.

Who knows? Until you're contacted for the next stage of the recruitment, you can only guess.

As far as I know, they tend to be strict but fair with their requirements. If you graduated with a 2.2, Master's Degree is a must, same with Upper Credit

I understand but I went through the last recruitment thread and I found out that even people who studied courses not listed in the requirements was selected for CBT …..
this requirement is hectic .. Only HND is 5+ years then add PGD a year and masters 2 years … everything is 8 years and age limit for this application is 28 years

Good morning, chief. I highly doubt it'd make much sense to apply to be honest. They tend to be a stickler for their requirements. If you don't meet the cut - in this case, you don't have a Master's Degree with the Upper Credit - you won't even be shortlisted for the CBT.

Year of service is typically the year you finished service.

If you've already completed and submitted the application, there's nothing you can do. Submitting more than 1 application gets you disqualified

I don't know what you hoped to achieve with this post of yours but it's obvious that you're not one of the successful GTs or EH hopefuls.

Prepare your mind for the following:

(1)The coronavirus will most likely affect resumption date. State govts across the nation are banning large gatherings and minimising physical contacts as much as possible. It is clear your orientation will be postponed.

(2) The problem is further compounded by the extremely low oil prices which have not even bottomed out yet. Nigeria is currently producing at a loss with the current prices, and we are not even able to sell our crude. No oil firm recruits during periods of low oil prices. NNPC boss has emphasized the need to cost cuts to.produce at current prices. Most companies fire or place employees on furlough. So the orientation will be moved to much later date when or if things stabilise.


(3) You are yet to receive official appointment letter. You have only received a notification of success. By law, no company is not legally bound to recruit any candidate that has not yet received an offer letter. Even with official letters, there has been several cases where govts or insitiutions withdraw offer letters even after resumption with no consequences. So the current case is even more precarious.

I therefore foresee a situation where the new GTs are put on reservation list for several months or years. A worse case scenario is that the recruitment eventually be cancelled or extremely streamlined. Forget sentiments, this is a real scenario right here.

I therefore ask all new GTs to hope and pray this crisis pass as soon as possible. The longer it stays, the less chances you will be recruited.

We still have a couple of weeks before the March 27 deadline, so more letters will be submitted.

I think they must have thought about the possibility of some persons not accepting the offer for whatever reason. Although, I have no idea if they'll fill said slots or how they'll go about it if they decide to.

It's also possible that they won't fill the slots and just go ahead with the persons that accepted the offer

Please go to the Towers yourself and submit it. You need to sign on a submission list. I submitted on Monday, more than 600 people have already submitted the acceptance letter. Yes. Six hundred and thirty something as at Monday (for those who peddle lies of 400 GTs).

Go physically

As at today, over 700 have submitted. Not all went themselves though. They accept courier, they also accept proxy submission. If going to Abuja isn't convenient, use a reputable courier - like DHL that you can track your package every step of the way.

You can submit via courier, proxy (someone you trust, on your behalf) or you go yourself. Just make sure you write your NNPC GT number on top of the acceptance copy.

Just as you predicted that lot of APLees would abandon this thread after getting APLs, it has happened. I am in two of the whatsapp groups created for successful candidates and I see people already complaining about the pay. It pained me so much to realise that after a long wait and getting favourable closure, people can still be so unappreciative.

I constantly think about those that didn't make it and the attendant mental turmoil and the only thing that comes to mind is God should just bless everyone beyond measures.

May God grant everyone the courage to forge ahead. God is prepping us for a Glorious future. That gloriousness is not hinged on only NNPC.

I don't think we're supposed to register on the DAAD website until AFTER being shortlisted by PTDF. At least, that's what the document that was sent some days ago to our mails indicated.

amOk, it is obvious. FYI, PTDF has never processed an admission for anybody, even if they write on their advert that they will process admission for applicants, it is a scam. At the end you'll be asked to bring your admission. Ask the current and past scholars.

But if any of your university choices is in Germany, you also have to apply to the DAAD portal.
