The issue is that you're judging Diouf based on what you believe he can and should've done not based on performance on the pitch. Diouf was very erratic and frustrating to watch. Diouf was absolutely nothing special lol.

Diouf obviously had more ability but Okocha also has more ability but Adebayo had a better club career than both.

At club level, Diouf failed at Liverpool, was poor at Rangers. He only did well in France and was decent at Bolton. Adebayo on the other hand was a starter at arsenal, came close to winning the league in 2007, joined City but the ban affected his days at City. Did well for Spurs and was good for Madrid on loan. Diouf did good at international level though.

So Adebayo succeeded individually at Monaco, Arsenal, Tottenham and to some extent Madrid.
