sell mustafi? Who on earth would pay mustafi as a player or even think of buying him?
Somebody can buy Mustafi if Arsenal sells him very cheap.

Martinelli goes all the way from a Chelsea's cleared corner and scores, what a run and composure from the young kid. That was Arsenal's 1st shot on target by the way. Chelsea 1 Arsenal 1. Game on...

That's what you get from playing Mustafi, he's the one who made David Luiz get sent off. I hope Arteta has lent his lesson and sell Mustafi in this transfer window. That been said I don't think that was a red card. If it was Arsenal on the other end, it wouldn't have been a red card. We all know the history of Arsenal and bad decisions from the referees and var.

Yet Gowon said that he has no regrets about the civil war. The blood of Asaba people are still in his hands while he's going around with his fake born again persona and fake prayers.

Gowon tried all he could to avoid the civil war. He knew it would be catastrophic. Ojuckwu was just adamant, selfishly eager and power wanting.
you can insult Gowon, but Yakubu Jack Gowon meant no evil to Nigerians. Its evident of this that he is still alive today.
some of you not pitying northern Christians, please don't. God is keeping us save. and we are the ones holding this country. if the bridge(North-central) is destroyed..... I fear what will happen to the other nigerian christian who envisioned themselves in a safe zone.
the best we can do to each other is accept the fact that we cant change the fact that we are Nigerians and we just have to love and adore one another the way and how they are.
Gowon tried all he could to avoid the war? Really? Do you even know your history? Do you know that Gowon was the one who reneged on the Aburi Peace Accord which ultimately led to Ojukwu declaring Biafra and Gowon then declared war on Biafra which he called a "A police action" when it was actually a full scale war attack.
The problem I had with Ojukwu is that he would have been patient and coy with Gowon but at the same time start immediately preparing for war. Because after months and months of deliberating for peace, it failed and Biafra in regards to military strength wasn't ready for war because they had only 176 rifles and no quality military equipment.

Fear don grip you already, you said Gowon signed a secret agreement with Cameroon and you were told to provide a link to it so that we all can read and learn, you started blabbing.

Everyone knows about the abandoned property saga in PH and environs, you accused Gowon of a secret agreement with the locals, get us a link to that, na so so epistle you dey write.

Maybe you think because nairaland is an anonymous blog anyone can say anything without being questioned for links. Imagine me asserting that you're a white man when you are actually as black as I am, am I not supposed to produce evidence like video, pictures etc to prove it?

Another fallacy, 20 pounds wasn't given to all Igbos, it was only given to Igbos who still had documents showing they had an account, you may have only 2 pounds or 2,000 pounds, all boiled down to 20 pounds. Inhuman as that decision was, it is good we state things the way it happened.
u must be a big fool or u are incredibly immature to assume that a secret document will be available online for u to view. U have built all your arguments on half truths, lies and propaganda. People who survived the war knows the truth whether wicked and insensitive people like you agree or not. Like the way some nazi apologists say that the holocaust never happened.

Can we see a link to the secret agreement or document Gowon signed with Cameroon?

A link to the secret agreement or document Gowon signed with the Ijaws and ikwerres over Igbo properties but Igbos got back their properties in Jos, Kano, Kaduna, Lagos etc.

Yeah why don't you ask Gowon himself for that secret document.....You are either very naive or you pretend to be. Go and ask anyone in Port Harcourt who lived there in the 70s, it's a well known fact that igbos never got back their properties when they tried to return to Port Harcourt in 1970 unlike in other towns in Nigeria. Even Onyeka Owenu mentioned that in a speech last week, her father's house was taken also. In fact the first igbos igbos that returned to Port Harcourt on January and February 1970 after the Civil War ended was either beaten up or killed. The "victor no vanquished" was a joke. Let me also mention that all the igbos was just given a maximum of 20 pounds in 1970 no matter the amount of money that they previously had in their account. You have decided to be bias and support that evil and pretentious man like Gowon for whatever reason.

Only God knows who feed you guys with so much lies and you believe them without doing any research.

Bakassi was part of colonial German Cameroon, after WW1 and Germany lost the war, her colonies in Africa were divided. Cameroon was divided between the British in Nigeria and the French. Bakassi was part of British Cameroon and close to the Nigerian border. Soon Nigerians started to settle around the area, at first there was no problem with Nigeria because British Cameroon was still administered from Nigeria.

After the independence of both territories and the British southern Cameroon decided to be part of Cameroon, that was when the republic of Cameroon decided to take back its territory from Nigeria which they won in court and OBJ gave it back to Cameroon. From your post, you said Gowon gave Bakassi to Cameroon so which Bakassi did OBJ give to them again? I believe you'll just lying that you're from there because if you are, your elders would've told you the history of the area.

Where and how did Gowon get into this? You obviously don't know, you won't ask and neither would you do any research about events aside believing every lie you are told, when Buhari calls Nigerian yoots lazy now, it is people like you that'll start calling him names.
Your lies is simply outrageous, Gowon gave Bakassi to Cameroon in a secret agreement, Cameroon presented that secret document to international court that's how they were able drive Nigerians away without paying compensation. Gowon also made sure that the igbos in Port Harcourt never got their properties after 1970, because of also the secret promise he made to the ikwere and ijaw people that if they support Nigeria and abandon Biafra that he will give them all the Igbo properties. It's people like you that feed propaganda and falsehood about the evils of the civil war instead of saying the truth. There's so many atrocities and war crimes that Gowon committed but I don't have the time to do arguments with liars like yourself.

Sunday 10th September 1967, A remarkable day in our state history, During Ojukwu reign of terror, For since the year 1846 That Christian religion was brought to us, Such incident had never occurred.
The day Ojukwu soldiers guarded Calabar streets, To prevent people from going to Church, Disobedient ones were beaten to death, Some soldiers Marched to Churches that held, Drove the worshipper and tore the Bible, The day of grief for men of God, The day I will never forget in this my life.
Yet Ojukwu said he was for us, Yet Ojukwu asked for our support, Yet Ibo race deceived the world, That they are more Christian than any race, Yet they trampled upon God and man, All was there for God to judge.
Ojukwu soldiers were wild as beasts, They were thugs in the Army coats, At gun-points they robbed our goods, At Oron Beach Market many a time, The women returned with wailing tears, Their fishes and grayfish at gun-point were seized.
Many Ibibio market suffered indeed, Obubra markets share the fate, At gun-point they abandoned their goods, Ojukwu soldiers cleared the market, And carried the goods to Iboland, The mighty God was there to see.
They consolidated their positions everywhere, All over our native lands, Calabar water was filled with mines, To break war-ships if they should come.
Calabar air-port was out of use, Mines were buried everywhere, Irons were used the block the way, To prevent planes from landing there.
But 18th October that fateful day, saw all Ibo efforts thwarted and foiled, Calabar was liberated with Ibos fleeing for their life, Gone are they and free are we, From the oppression of lbo race.
Gowon men are wonderful men, Such gallantry l have never seen, Their professional training has placed them on top, They are superb in weapon's control, They are intelligent and swift in the fighting field, Their morale can be measured with exact To the other civilised troops of the world.
You failed to mention that Gowon gave away your own land, the Bakassi peninsula which was part of the current Cross Rivers state to Cameroon in order for them to close their borders to Biafra. I bet you typed these rubbish above praising Gowon and his soldiers because you still have a village to go back to unlike us who has been displaced without any village because of the wicked deeds of Gowon.

Second Time on Pepe at the Emirates this season.
Yeah but the worst one was when Arsenal scored a last minute 3-2 winner against Crystal Palace or they thought they did but it was canceled by VAR for no reason at all, even the head of the referees Mike Riley said that the goal shouldn't have been canceled and apologized but Arsenal only got a point instead of 3.

A clear penalty on Pepe for Arsenal not given....even though it was clear for everyone to see apart from the corruption team in the VAR room. Arsenal has now lost 11 points from incorrect decisions by the referee this season more than any other team in the Premier league.

If that was a red for Aubameyang then Tomkins for Crystal Palace should get a red card as well.

Where's the red card for the Crystal Palace player who did same kind of tackle on Martinelli? He only got a yellow. Why didn't VAR check for a possible red card?

I've said that before that the Refs and officials in the VAR room are against Arsenal.... They were responsible for canceling a legitimate winning goal by Arsenal when both sides met in the 2-2 draw last year, now they have conspired to send Aubameyang off for something that is just a yellow card.

Crystal Palace are a dirty team with their sneaky fouls, Zaha pushed Pepe into Torreira who was on the air jumping, that innocuous push would have resulted to a serious injury, thankfully they are both ok. The referee should be giving yellow for a push like that because sometimes the result can be more dangerous than a tackle. Chambers is out of the season because of a push in the air by Chelsea's Tammy Abraham which made Chambers to fall on his knee.

Manchester United started brightly but progressively became worse as the match wore on, it's only 3-0 at half time but it could have easily been 5-0 to Manchester City if Sterling had his shooting boots on.

You didn't even understand my sarcasm?? That was a reminder na.
You forgot your last encounter with Brighton ni? grin grin
You are the one who brought Brighton into the argument. Any team can loose a match, Norwich beat Manchester City 3-2 this season and a couple of years ago lost the FA cup final to Wigan who were relegated that season. Other shocks have happened in the FA cup, Years ago Chelsea getting knocked out 2-4 at home by Bradford and Liverpool getting knocked out by Wolves last season.

Don't underrate Leeds United, they are à big team, currently the biggest team in England not in the Premier league. Leeds United are dominating Arsenal at home, Arsenal are hanging on and are lucky not to be at least 3 goals behind, I'm surprised that this match is still 0-0. Leeds do have a weakness in their defense though, I hope Arsenal can capitalize and punish them with a good counterattack.
