A list of additional nominations for ministerial positions has been sent to the Senate for review and confirmation by President Bola Tinubu.
One of the individuals whose names appeared on the most recent list of ministerial nominations given by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday is Professor Tahir Mamman, vice- chancellor of Baze University.
Datti Baba- Ahmed, the Labour Party' s vice presidential candidate for the election of 2023, founded the university.
Mamman, who was born in 1954, served as the director- general of the Nigerian Law School in Michika, Adamawa State, for eight years (2005– 2013).

He graduated with an LL. B from Ahmadu Bello University in 1983 and was admitted to the bar the following year.
Mammon received his master' s degree from the University of Warwick in England in 1987, and his doctorate from the same institution in 1990.
He is on the Niger Delta Development Commission' s (NDDC) executive committee.

He joined the board of the Washington, DC- based International Association of Law Schools in 2010.
He received the designation of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in September 2015. The Federal Government of Nigeria awarded him the title of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) in appreciation for his contributions.
2014 saw Mamman transition from his position as director general of the Nigeria Law School to party politics. In December 2014, he and three other candidates ran for governor of Adamawa State under the banner of the APC.

He was appointed and inaugurated by the APC national executive committee in June 2020 as a member of the national caretaker/extraordinary convention planning committee for the northeast geopolitical zone/acting national vice chairman, north east.
