Why is it that when a guy makes a marriage proposal to a lady (especially a Nigerian lady), her usual response is: "Please give me some time to think about it" even when she knows she's eventually going to say "YES"? What astonishes me more is that when the guy asks her out for shopping, she does not request for time to think about anything; When he decides to spoil her silly with gifts or take her out to the Cinema to watch love films and eat popcorn and ice-cream, she doesn't request for any time to think about anything! But when it comes to the big question, she needs all the time in the entire Cosmos to give you an answer. And she would eventually say "YES". Most astonishing is when the lady tells you she would have to pray about it too (even when you know she's not the praying type)...And for most of the time, this "prayer period" is spent announcing your marriage proposal to her numerous girlfriends. Also, am yet to hear of a Lady who said to a guy: "After much prayers, God revealed to me that I should not marry you"...Baseline, she would eventually say "YES I WOULD MARRY YOU". More women are faithful compared to men.On a day of bad market, women get hit on at least by 2 guys and in a week 2 multiplied by 7 is 14..there is no way 1 out of these 14 guys wouldn't be cuter, richer than your current boyfriend, now tell me how easy it would be for the lady to stay faithful unlike for guys who don't get hit on and even when they try to hit on, there is a 70 percent chance they'll get rejected....its more harder for Ladies to stay faithful #BITG 10 Likes

I called my girlfriend this night around 12pm. At the background i was hearing pounding sound. what the hell might be happening  She soundsvery well on the phone but that sound i was hearing keeps haunting me. What should i do? Should i quit the friendship, or should i just conclude that nothing was happening. cos i feel someone was phyuking her. My vex is why her picking the call. Last month been June I travelled to Canada to catch fun due to nairaland's shutdown and I was bored in naija without nairaland so i met this LADY in Canada after DATING for a long period of time (2 weeks- its my longest ever) i sent message home that I am coming home for MARRIAGE....we arrived the next week......But due to where this Girl grown up...when we arrive she greeted the in-laws with hand shaking no SIGN of NIGERIAN CULTURE ...they all feel so they try to correct her but she refused..... they cancel the wedding and the LADY said "I will never show any Respect to these chauvinistic afro-males...they feel women are second class humans?" Why can't some girls appreciate what we do for them eh There is this female popular nairalander who happens to know me and work in the same place with me. I got her pregnant during secondary school days 6 years and took her for abortion...then i travelled out to continue with My studies overseas leaving a promise behind that I will come back and marry her.......after 6 months she got married to someone else and after 5years no child.......she was barren as a result of d abortion she committed 16years ago and d hubby peeps drove her out of d house...................now I have a fiancee I plan to marry this september somehow destiny has brought me to meet her again at lagos again.......
