They is a story I read one time...


I will summarize briefly.

A king wanting to give his eligible daughter out for marriage decided to throw a competition for the most eligible bachelor.


The competition was to test skill in battle, wit, intelligence, knowledge and every other thing that makes up a fine gentleman.

The competition was to hold for 3 days with competitors tested on different aspects and subjects of life.


The winner was to get Married to the King's daughter as the prize.


Out of about a 100 contestants they were finally cut down to the 3 best performers after days of rigors tests and selection.


One particular candidate caught the King's attention because he excelled in all aspects and surpassed the King's expectations. He did very well and the king thought he was a fine gentleman worthy of marrying his daughter. Infact, he was the King's favorite to marry his daughter.


His name was Achilles. But something strange happened. On the day of the final announcement... infact the king was set to announce Achilles as the final winner of the competition.


But Achilles had a little bit too much to drink... too much.

At that point a song started playing and Achilles begged the king for a chance to show his dancing skills. The king granted his wish... but that was Achilles mistake for soon he started dancing. Dancing alone wasn't the problem... no.


The problem was that Achilles trying to show his dancing skills did different types of dancing moves. From break dance to cultural dance, to tango then some salsa, a bit more atilogu and then some wiles and some more tap dancing. Everyone present clapped and marveled at his skills. "Oh... what a rounded gentleman good in so many aspects. He can dance too. The king felt proud and other contestants gave up. Surely, they couldn't match up to such a perfect gentleman.


Soon however achelles climbed on the table where everyone was feasting and started dancing on his head... he ended up taking off his clothes and dancing naked to the King's and everyone's shock and amazement.


It was so embarrassing that the king finally exasperated, embarrassed and frustrated called out "oh achelles you have danced away your victory and prize" and gave his daughter to the next top contender.
