dafeoroyo:I just did it and the system has been updated online Date of biometrics enrolment: June 26, 2024 Expiry date: June 26, 20xxxxx |
It is a Biometrics Collection Letter, the same one I received in February when I submitted the application, with a 30-day notice to provide biometrics or the application may be refused. |
I am confused and need your advice on this matter. I applied for a visitor visa with my kids. Just when I was about to apply for a student visa, I received this message: Biometrics Collection Letter on June 25, 2024. I was actually expecting a decision after 4 months When I submitted the application, I had the option to use my old biometrics or provide new ones. Since my current biometrics would expire in less than six months, I decided to pay for new biometrics which I did in - Biometrics Collection Letter: February 19, 2024 and it was confirmed by IRCC on My biometrics enrollment date was February 23, 2024, with an expiry date of March 2034. After 4 months i got this message again - Biometrics Collection Letter: June 25, 2024 FOR another biometrics this is crazy to me Is this a sign of a problem? The worst part was that I submitted my passport for my Germany visa renewal just yesterday. My application status online was last updated on May 24, 2024. Could this be a system error? Why are they asking me to provide my biometrics a second time? Is this a red flag after four months of application? Here are the dates of my communications and submissions: - Biometrics Collection Letter: June 25, 2024 - Biometrics Collection Letter: February 19, 2024 - Submission Confirmation: February 16, 2024 |
Hello Everyone, I hope this message finds you all well. I need your kind advice regarding my student visa application for a 2-year Diploma program. Financial Information: Bank Account Statement: I have a balance of 55 million Naira that has been there since February 2024. Fixed Deposit: I plan to liquidate a fixed deposit of 30 million Naira and transfer it to my savings account, bringing the total to 85 million Naira. Tuition Fees: I have paid my first-year tuition fees of $27,000 to the school. Travel History: I have traveled to the UK, Germany, and Italy, and I still have valid UK and Italy visas. My USA visa application was rejected two weeks ago. Family: I am not planning to apply with my children initially. Should I apply with them or after my approval? Proof of Funds: Do I need to submit any proof of funds? The money in my account is accumulated savings from my years of working. I own landed property with 10 tenants, generating rental income. Occasionally, I buy and sell land from desperate sellers for a profit. I am employed by a company that pays me 1.3 million Naira monthly, and I have a salary account. Documents I Have Prepared: My salary account statement Landed property documents and the 10 tenancy agreements, along with pictures of the property Copies of my used visas and stamps Letter from my employer and pay slips Statement of Purpose (SOP) detailing my sources of income and reasons for choosing Canada Divorce certificate and my children's birth certificates Questions: Should I apply for the visa with my children, or should I wait until my visa is approved? Do I need to submit any additional proof of funds beyond what I have listed? Is there anything else I should include in my application? Thank you for your assistance and advice. |

Do I have enough time to obtain the student visa, or should I wait for the outcome of the visitor visa first? I would greatly appreciate your advice on this matter. Thanks |
Hello everyone, I completed my biometric appointment on February 18th, 2024, CA Visitor visa and I have not received a response yet. Is anyone else in the same situation? Can I submit a web form to expedite my CA visa decision? Thank you for any insights or advice. |

I also forgot to mention in my last post that my ex-husband, the father of my children is a US citizen. He included the data page of his US passport. Will that be an advantage? Do you know when we can expect a decision? |
Hello everyone, I submitted my Canadian visitor visa application on Feb 16, and I completed my biometrics on Feb 29. I need to travel to Canada urgently. Is there any way to expedite the application process? I am divorced and applied with my three children. We traveled together to the UK and Germany last year, and now I want to take them to Canada for a vacation. Their father is covering the trip costs, and I included his consent in the application. I am concerned if my divorced status will impact the application outcome. I initially intended to go for study, so I underwent a medical examination as part of my application. The latest status I can see is that I passed the medical examination. Will this affect my application, and will they be aware that I did it with the intention of obtaining a student visa? |
